Salmos 132

1 A Song of Ascents. Yahweh, remember for David All his affliction;
1 Lembra-te, Senhor, a bem de Davi, de todas as suas aflições;
2 How he swore to Yahweh, And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
2 como jurou ao Senhor, e fez voto ao Poderoso de Jacó, dizendo:
3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, Nor go up into my bed;
3 Não entrarei na casa em que habito, nem subirei ao leito em que durmo;
4 I will not give sleep to my eyes, Or slumber to my eyelids;
4 não darei sono aos meus olhos, nem adormecimento às minhas pálpebras,
5 Until I find out a place for Yahweh, A tabernacle for the Mighty One of Jacob.
5 até que eu ache um lugar para o Senhor uma morada para o Poderoso de Jacó.
6 Look, we heard of it in Ephrathah: We found it in the field of the forest.
6 Eis que ouvimos falar dela em Efrata, e a achamos no campo de Jaar.
7 We will go into his tabernacles; We will worship at his footstool.
7 Entremos nos seus tabernáculos; prostremo-nos ante o escabelo de seus pés.
8 Arise, O Yahweh, into your resting-place; You, and the ark of your strength.
8 Levanta-te, Senhor, entra no lugar do teu repouso, tu e a arca da tua força.
9 Let your priest be clothed with righteousness; And let your saints shout for joy.
9 Vistam-se os teus sacerdotes de justiça, e exultem de júbilo os teus santos.
10 For your slave David's sake Don't turn away the face of your anointed.
10 Por amor de Davi, teu servo, não rejeites a face do teu ungido.
11 Yahweh has sworn to David in truth; He will not turn from it: Of the fruit of your body I will set on your throne.
11 O Senhor jurou a Davi com verdade, e não se desviará dela: Do fruto das tuas entranhas porei sobre o teu trono.
12 If your sons will keep my covenant And my testimony that I will teach them, Their sons also will sit on your throne forevermore.
12 Se os teus filhos guardarem o meu pacto, e os meus testemunhos, que eu lhes hei de ensinar, também os seus filhos se assentarão perpetuamente no teu trono.
13 For Yahweh has chosen Zion; He has desired it for his habitation.
13 Porque o Senhor escolheu a Sião; desejou-a para sua habitação, dizendo:
14 This is my resting-place forever: Here I will dwell; for I have desired it.
14 Este é o lugar do meu repouso para sempre; aqui habitarei, pois o tenho desejado.
15 I will abundantly bless her provisions: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
15 Abençoarei abundantemente o seu mantimento; fartarei de pão os seus necessitados.
16 Her priests also I will clothe with salvation; And her saints will shout aloud for joy.
16 Vestirei de salvação os seus sacerdotes; e de júbilo os seus santos exultarão
17 There I will make the horn of David to bud: I have appointed a lamp for my anointed.
17 Ali farei brotar a força de Davi; preparei uma lâmpada para o meu ungido.
18 His enemies I will clothe with shame; But on himself will his crown flourish.
18 Vestirei de confusão os seus inimigos; mas sobre ele resplandecerá a sua coroa.
