Isaías 35
Updated Bible Version (UPDV) vs ARA
1 The wilderness and the dry land will be glad; and the desert will rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
1 O deserto e a terra se alegrarão; o ermo exultará e florescerá como o narciso.
2 It will blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon: they will see the glory of Yahweh, the excellency of our God.
2 Florescerá abundantemente, jubilará de alegria e exultará; deu-se-lhes a glória do Líbano, o esplendor do Carmelo e de Sarom; eles verão a glória do Senhor , o esplendor do nosso Deus.
3 Strengthen{+} the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
3 Fortalecei as mãos frouxas e firmai os joelhos vacilantes.
4 Say to those who are of a fearful heart, Be strong, don't be afraid: look, your{+} God will come [with] vengeance, [with] the recompense of God; he will come and save you{+}.
4 Dizei aos desalentados de coração: Sede fortes, não temais. Eis o vosso Deus. A vingança vem, a retribuição de Deus; ele vem e vos salvará.
5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.
5 Então, se abrirão os olhos dos cegos, e se desimpedirão os ouvidos dos surdos;
6 Then will the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the mute will sing; for in the wilderness will waters break out, and streams in the desert.
6 os coxos saltarão como cervos, e a língua dos mudos cantará; pois águas arrebentarão no deserto, e ribeiros, no ermo.
7 And the glowing sand will become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water: in the habitation of the jackals' resting place, will be grass with reeds and rushes.
7 A areia esbraseada se transformará em lagos, e a terra sedenta, em mananciais de águas; onde outrora viviam os chacais, crescerá a erva com canas e juncos.
8 And a highway will be there, and a way, and it will be called The Way of Holiness; the unclean will not pass over it; but it will be for [the redeemed]: the wayfaring men, yes fools, will not err [in it].
8 E ali haverá bom caminho, caminho que se chamará o Caminho Santo; o imundo não passará por ele, pois será somente para o seu povo; quem quer que por ele caminhe não errará, nem mesmo o louco.
9 No lion will be there, nor will any ravenous beast go up on it; they will not be found there; but the redeemed will walk [there]:
9 Ali não haverá leão, animal feroz não passará por ele, nem se achará nele; mas os remidos andarão por ele.
10 and the ransomed of Yahweh will return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy will be on their heads: they will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
10 Os resgatados do Senhor voltarão e virão a Sião com cânticos de júbilo; alegria eterna coroará a sua cabeça; gozo e alegria alcançarão, e deles fugirá a tristeza e o gemido.
