1 Now these are the sons of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and that returned to Jerusalem and Judah, every one to his city;
1 Estes são os filhos da província, que subiram do cativeiro, dentre os exilados, que Nabucodonosor, rei de babilônia, tinha transportado a babilônia, e tornaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um para a sua cidade;
2 who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

3 The sons of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy and two.

4 The sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.

5 The sons of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.

6 The sons of Pahath-moab, of the sons of Jeshua [and] Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.

56 the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel,

57 the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the sons of Ami.

58 All those given [to temple service], and the sons of Solomon's slaves, were three hundred ninety and two.
58 Todos os netinins, e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
59 And these were those who went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, [and] Immer; but they could not show their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
59 Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá e Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adã e Imer; porém não puderam provar que as suas famílias e a sua linhagem eram de Israel:
60 the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
60 Os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e cinqüenta e dois.
61 And of the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
61 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, que tomou mulher das filhas de Barzilai, o gileadita, e que foi chamado do seu nome.
62 These sought their register [among] those who were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore they were deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
62 Estes procuraram o seu registro entre os que estavam arrolados nas genealogias, mas não se acharam nelas; assim, por imundos, foram excluídos do sacerdócio.
63 And the governor said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
63 E o governador lhes disse que não comessem das coisas consagradas, até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e com Tumim.
64 The whole assembly together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
64 Toda esta congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
65 besides their male slaves and their female slaves, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
65 Afora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil trezentos e trinta e sete; também tinha duzentos cantores e cantoras.
66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
66 Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis; os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
67 their camels, four hundred thirty and five; [their] donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
67 Os seus camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; os jumentos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.
68 And some of the heads of fathers' [houses], when they came to the house of Yahweh which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place:
68 E alguns dos chefes dos pais, vindo à casa do Senhor, que habita em Jerusalém, deram ofertas voluntárias para a casa de Deus, para a estabelecerem no seu lugar.
69 they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work threescore and one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.
69 Conforme as suas posses, deram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, sessenta e uma mil dracmas, e em prata cinco mil libras, e cem vestes sacerdotais.
70 So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people: and the singers, and the porters, and those given [to temple service] dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
70 E habitaram os sacerdotes e os levitas, e alguns do povo, tanto os cantores, como os porteiros, e os netinins, nas suas cidades; como também todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
