Gálatas 6

1 Brethren yf eny ma be fallen by chauce into eny faute: ye which are spirituall helpe to amende him in the sprete of meknes: consyderynge thy silfe lest thou also be tempted.
1 Meus irmãos, se alguém for apanhado em alguma falta, vocês que são espirituais devem ajudar essa pessoa a se corrigir. Mas façam isso com humildade e tenham cuidado para que vocês não sejam tentados também.
2 Beare ye one anothers burthe and so fulfill the lawe of Christ.
2 Ajudem uns aos outros e assim vocês estarão obedecendo à lei de Cristo.
3 If eny ma seme to him silfe that he is somwhat whe in dede he is nothynge the same deceaveth hym silfe in his ymaginacion.
3 A pessoa que pensa que é importante, quando, de fato, não é, está enganando a si mesma.
4 Let every man prove his awne worke and then shall he have reioysinge in his awne silfe and not in another
4 Que cada pessoa examine o seu próprio modo de agir! Se ele for bom, então a pessoa pode se orgulhar do que fez, sem precisar comparar o seu modo de agir com o dos outros.
5 For every man shall beare his awne burthen.
5 Porque cada pessoa deve carregar a sua própria carga.
6 Let him that is taught in ye worde minister vnto him yt teacheth him in all good thinges
6 A pessoa que está aprendendo o evangelho de Cristo deve repartir todas as suas coisas boas com quem a estiver ensinando.
7 . Be not deceaved God is not mocked. For what soever a man soweth yt shall he reepe.
7 Não se enganem: ninguém zomba de Deus. O que uma pessoa plantar, é isso mesmo que colherá.
8 He that soweth in his flesshe shall of ye flesshe reepe corrupcio. But he yt soweth in ye sprete shall of the sprete reepe lyfe everlastinge.
8 Se plantar no terreno da sua natureza humana, desse terreno colherá a morte. Porém, se plantar no terreno do Espírito de Deus, desse terreno colherá a vida eterna.
9 Let vs not be wery of well doynge. For when the tyme is come we shall repe with out werines.
9 Não nos cansemos de fazer o bem. Pois, se não desanimarmos, chegará o tempo certo em que faremos a colheita.
10 Whill we have therfore tyme let vs do good vnto all men and specially vnto them which are of the housholde of fayth.
10 Portanto, sempre que pudermos, devemos fazer o bem a todos, especialmente aos que fazem parte da nossa família na fé.
11 Beholde how large a letter I have written vnto you with myne awne honde.
11 Vejam as letras grandes que estou escrevendo com a minha própria mão!
12 As many as desyre with vtwarde apperauce to please carnally they constrayne you to be circumcised only be cause they wolde not suffre persecucion with the crosse of Christ.
12 Os que estão forçando vocês a se circuncidarem são pessoas que querem ficar orgulhosas de coisas de pouca importância. Eles fazem isso somente para não serem perseguidos por causa da cruz de Cristo.
13 For they them selves which are circumcised kepe not the lawe: but desyre to have you circumcised that they myght reioyce in youre flesshe.
13 Pois nem mesmo os que praticam a circuncisão obedecem à lei . Porém eles querem que vocês se circuncidem para que eles possam se gabar de terem colocado o sinal da circuncisão no corpo de vocês.
14 God forbyd that I shuld reioyce but in the crosse of oure Lorde Iesu Christ wherby the worlde is crucified as touchinge me and I as concerninge the worlde.
14 Mas eu me orgulharei somente da cruz do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. Pois, por meio da cruz, o mundo está morto para mim, e eu estou morto para o mundo.
15 For in Christ Iesu nether circucision avayleth eny thinge at all nor vncircumcisio: but a new creature.
15 Não faz nenhuma diferença se o homem é circuncidado ou não; o importante é que ele seja uma nova pessoa.
16 And as many as walke accordinge to this rule peace be on them and mercy and vpon Israel that pertayneth to God.
16 E, para todos os que seguem essa regra na sua vida, que a paz e a misericórdia estejam com eles e com todo o povo de Deus!
17 From hence forth let no man put me to busynes. For I beare in my bodye ye markes of the Lorde Iesu.
17 Para terminar: que mais ninguém crie dificuldades para mim, pois as marcas no meu corpo mostram que sou escravo de Jesus.
18 Brethren the grace of oure Lorde Iesu Christe be with youre sprete. Amen.
18 Que a graça do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com todos vocês, meus irmãos! Amém !
