1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Sã ãquẽ ɨtãqueɨ̃ ndiqui uchɨu achã asite no. Eɨ̃ jenye beɨ chõ nguia oo Dios cheẽ ndese. Eɨ̃ nda jẽquirãcuã tuchɨ riqui Dios rese. Sã ãquẽ quirãcuã ndiqui quiambure no.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Dios turã ngue jẽsaã ndei resẽ.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.

7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Sã embesa ji riqui ñee no:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Dios que jẽirabo umbaerã tuchɨ ra. Sacerdotes rã ño jẽɨngo nguiã Dios je ũquɨ̃. Dios que jemingo ɨcúe umbaerã nda. Jẽ mbia mbiirandu randu beɨ sacuã Dios chɨao turã nɨɨ. Ae quiatu que jendirõ itondaru sɨ ra. Jẽɨngo sacuã nyaashɨ̃ Dios rese cote.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Mbia chɨmbutereãte que jẽ nyii ra. Dios quiato tuchɨ chõ namo jẽ cote re. Emo ngue ndua eãte quia jendese nyii ra. Dios quia ndua tuchɨ nguiã jendese co cote.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Achesecua tuchɨte quia jendese co. Isho ɨshote jẽɨngo jendecua sɨ ũquɨ̃. Ae mbia choseɨ choseɨ quia mbae ɨcuã nae, ũquɨ̃ ndese ra jemae maechɨ̃. Eɨcuãte riqui nandeaĩ je ũquɨ̃.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Ae Dios ɨcua eãte quia nae, ũquɨ̃ ndésaa jẽɨngo turã ño nguia. Ũquɨ̃ ndiqui ñee ɨcuã ɨcuãte raque jenɨɨ ũquɨ̃. Jẽɨcuã mose rocoɨ̃. Ũquɨ̃ nda mae jee jẽturã ndese. Ñee turã jee ra Dios rɨɨ̃, Jesús tu mose.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Mbia rerecua ja cheẽ jemumbayã ño nguia Dios je. Ae ererecua tuchɨ ererecua ja sɨ nae, aque cheẽ abe jemumbayã ño nguia no.

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Jẽɨngo turã ño nguia jẽ. Jẽɨngo turã mose ra mbia aquiatuã ñee ɨcuã aroneate jẽje. Dios bite ũquɨ̃.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Jesucristo que jembuɨ mbae ja sɨ cote ra. Jenderecua eãte raque mbae mo cote. —Mbae ɨcuã tasaã. Sererecua eãte rei ñene, jenyechɨ̃ ndae. Dios rimba chõ jẽɨngo.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Jẽɨngo turã ño nguia mbia ja je. Jenyesecua chõ nguia jendesenda Jesús quiato rese. Jẽɨreɨ̃ ɨreɨ̃ jiri Dios sɨ. Mbia rerecua cheẽ nda jemumba mumbachɨ̃ jẽ.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Mbia rimba je tacheẽ cote. Jenderecua cheẽ jemumbayã ño nguia jẽ. Jẽɨreɨ̃ ɨreɨ̃ jiri quia esɨ jẽ. Jenderecua ɨcuã mose abe chõ echeẽ jemumbayã nguia. “Jenderecua turã mose achõ ño echeẽ jemumbayã”, ae eã nguiã jẽje co.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Mbia ɨcuã ɨcuã ñooño mose nande je, nanderoseɨ̃ nguiátu chõ nandeɨco. Dios bite ũquɨ̃. Dios rɨɨ̃ nanderoseɨ̃ nguiátu mose, ebite ũquɨ̃.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Mbae turã jẽsaã saã mbeɨ chõ nguia. Mbia jẽiruã nua mose jẽturã nɨɨ, jendoseɨ̃ nguiátu chõ jẽɨngo. Ũquɨ̃ mose ra Dios ia tuchɨ jendese. Mbae ɨcuã mo nda jẽsaãchɨ̃. 20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Nyebe Dios “jẽɨngo seruɨ”, ɨ nguiã nande je. Sã Cristo roseɨ̃ nguiátu tuchɨ mbae rasi raã mose nande je no. Nande abe nanderoseɨ̃ nguiátu sacuã eraã sɨ.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Cristo que mbae ɨcuã mo saã eã tuchɨ ra. Mbia mo ngue embɨɨrɨ̃ ɨrɨã tuchɨ quia ra.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Mbia ñee ɨcuã mose Cristo je, ae que ñee ɨcuã eã mbeɨ mbia cheẽ ndɨbɨshorõ nda. Mbia Cristo mbaasi asi mose, “tasaã se”, ɨã tuchɨ que equia ra. “Dios quiarei”, ɨ chõ ngue equia ra.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Jesús mano mose ira mbuchɨcuandasa ji rese, nandeɨcuã ndiquicharõ ño ngue mano nguiã. Eraaque rã nandeɨco sacuã mbae ɨcuã je chõ ngue re. Nandeɨco sacuã mbae turã ndese chõ ngue re. Cristo mbae rasi raã mose, jembitirõ sacuã ño ũquɨ̃ nde.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ovejas quiachã je rã ño ngue jẽɨngo nguiã nyii. Jenyebi que oso ngasẽ Cristo rea cote ra. Ovejas raarõsa rã ño ae riqui nguiã jẽje co cote. Ae chõ jendeaquiatu nguiã co.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
