1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Wakoti fulo moloti, ya olufo namuna hofawa oloto piyabo yasi aminagunu holiyabo yaidana oti hemotina amina ona hula weudina-lutina-hatina nanaibo yagunu holilo. Feto feyanabo yakafo li nomudina waibo monatina u naba linogolaiye.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Moda holiyafe? Wenaba ya moda dowa ona hula ne, loti holiyabo, ya aya aminagunu holitiko minalo.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Ido emo ya hefana hofawa minowa-minowa aibo yaidana oto nefa, ido wenina masi wa edo aifa idafaidana feyae. Feto feyafa, ido Gotikafo wa edo dowa idafa ona hula ito, haka oto numuna lagi yaidana oto fulo edaibo ne. Feito hemotina ya emodoka lo fedoti,

5 moda ayaidana oti hefana hofawa minowa-minowa aibo yaidana oti minabo, ya ika mau ito li homi-homi i betito, Weuna numunala hu ne. Ido fele huliyagi numuna nabau yau sokila hi muwabo yaidana oti hemotina weudina-lutina-hatina muwabo wenina fele ya idafawa muwabo ya Yesu Kilisto yagunu holito dowa wa edaima ne.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Aya yagunu ya feto libo,loto ha mono lufuwau (Ais 28:16) ya nebo ne.
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Yagunu ya hemotina holi hikitabo wenina ya moda wa edo dowa ona itafa, ido holi hiki ladámabo wenina yagunu ya feto libo,loto ha mono lufuwau (Sng 118:22) ya nebo,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 ido ha ma ya feto libo,loto ha mono lufuwau (Ais 8:14) ya nebo ne. Emo hala ya holiti meyalo molámabo yagunu ya uteba-ateba i minae. Ido feto feyanae, loto aidena lo molo betima nenako, yagunu moda feto fe minae.
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Feto fe minafa, ido hemotina ya wa molo betibo weninala, sokila hi muwabo wenina hiyaba we wehudi weninala, fele weninala mau naba, eimola weninala ona ya minae. Feto fe minabo, ya midipu igu yauti sutina fito li eimola lamenala dowa idafa omonala lamenalau o betibo we ononala dowa naba auba ito libo hawa ukuwa lo oloto molanae, loto feto fe betibo ne.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Hemotina homu ya aifa wenina yako minaboma nefa, ido onesa me ya ya Goti weninala ona hula ya minae. Ido homu ya mulunau holibo mona liyámaboma nefa, ido onesa me ya mulunau holi bibo mona ya moda li minae.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Lune-hane biyobo weninane-motao, hemotina ya wau wenina yamaidana oti mikaleka me ya hamena fouma efomako minanigilae. Yagunu nemo ya hatina lito feto loto lobiyowe. Holilo. Ute dowa loto holibo mona ya weude lowa-fina fi muibo mona nebo yagunu ya fulitalo.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Aya mona ya fulititi, eito feka wenina minagu yau monatina dowa yako molalo. Feti moninabo, ya emotinasi nosámabo wenina minae, loti hamadina hinabo, ya hemotina dowa molabo monatina wa edofefe lanako, Goti emodoka lo fedanaibo hamenalo ya huliya li faka lanae, loti ya feti monilo.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Hemotina Wenaba yagunu holiti, ya gamani ha lo mona-mona molado ya meyalo molalo. Moda holiyafe? Gamani hiyaba we wehudi ya huliya yoto nebo yagunu welalo molalo.

14 Ido hafuwalo wenina mika negu-negu ya hiyaba o betiti, mona nosámibo molabo wenina lifima li biti, ido fefe libo mona molabo wenina ya ebotina lanae, loto gamani onodo idipi molaibo, yagunu lo molabo hatina yagi maina hololilo.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Feto feyanabo, ya ha holiyámabo wenina ha manadinau minámibo ha lo-lo abo, ya hemotina mona dowa molanabo yakafo ha henobatinalo inogolaiye, loto Gotikafo dowa loto holibo ne.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Yagunu hemotina ya idafa makafo nala i betiyámito, moda wina oti minabo yaidana oti moni minalo. Feto feti, ya nalalo minámabo monawa yakafo mona nosámibo li wase iti faluku ámoti moda Goti nalalalo weninala yaidana oti ya minalo.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Wenina muki ya monatina fefe lotiko molo bilo. Goti weninala muki ya lutina-hatina bilo. Goti holiya holilo. Gamani hiyaba wehudi ya monatina fefe lotiko molo bilo.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Hemotina houba-naba onona liyabo wenina yasi wenabatina hulitina li faka loti hidinalo ya minalo. Wenaba you loti minoti mona dowa molo binabo wenina yagunuko ladámowe. E'e, ha aubafofo loti nosámibo mona molo binabo wenabatina yagi ayaidanako o betilo.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Yagunu holilo. Hemotina lifimatina minámido ya wenina hopa li nosámibo o betiyatoma, ya hemotina Goti yagunu holiti auba iti henawa li mofunabo ya moda dowa wa betinogolaiye.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Moda holiyafe? Hemotina ya nosámibo mona ma molatoma, ya liwila oti hasuwala fi betinado ya aifa auba iti li mofunabo, ya igaidana oto hulitina yonaibo ne? E'e, feito minámifa, ido mona dowa moloti moninado ya li hopa o betiyatoma, ya auba iti henawa li mofunabo ya moda Goti nomunalo yaidana mona ya dowa idafa ona ne.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Yagunu aya mona meyalo molanae, loto sutina fito wa molo betibo ne. Kilisto eimola ya li homu moloto eikanelo ya nege molanae, loto hemotinagunu loto ogofu holibo yama monawa itibibo ne.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 loto ha mono lufuwau (Ais 53:9) ya nebo ne.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Ido ha nosámibo lomuwado ya emokafo ha ma nosámibo liwila oto lobiyámibo ne. Ido ula ogofu holido ya lifima ha ma liwila oto lobiyámibo ne. E'e, ha lifefe lo ledaibo we analo ya hawa muki moda molaibo ne.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Emo yakafo lemogunu holito yá yofolo fulibo, ya nosámibo monate li eimola ulalo mofuto ya fuliye. Feto fe ledaibo, ya nosámibo monatina fuli muti, ya nomudina hofawa minoti, fefe libo mona yako moloti minanae, loto feto fe ledaibo ne. Ido emo hofo edabo yamakafo hemotina ya moda li faka lo betibo ne.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Moda holiyafe? Hemotina ya sipisipi yaidana oti moni faluku aibo ya minafa, ido onesa me ya liwila oti weudina wato hiyaba aibo weloka ya ae.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
