¹ Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord, all the earth.

¹ Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, cantai ao Senhor, todos os moradores da terra.

² Sing to the Lord, bless his name, from day to day herald his victory.

² Cantai ao Senhor, bendizei o seu nome; anunciai de dia em dia a sua salvação.

³ Tell his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples.

³ Anunciai entre as nações a sua glória, entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.

⁴ For great is the Lord and worthy all praise; held in awe, above all gods:

⁴ Porque grande é o Senhor, e digno de ser louvado; ele é mais temível do que todos os deuses.

⁵ for all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord created the heavens.

⁵ Porque todos os deuses dos povos são ídolos; mas o Senhor fez os céus.

⁶ Before him are splendour and majesty, beauty and strength in his holy place.

⁶ Glória e majestade estão diante dele, força e formosura no seu santuário.

⁷ Ascribe to the Lord, you tribes of the nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

⁷ Tributai ao Senhor, ó famílias dos povos, tributai ao Senhor glória e força.

⁸ Ascribe to the Lord the glory he manifests: bring you an offering, enter his courts.

⁹ Bow to the Lord in holy array: tremble before him, all the earth.

¹⁰ Say to the nations, “The Lord is king.” The world stands firm to be shaken no more. He will judge the peoples with equity.

¹⁰ Dizei entre as nações: O Senhor reina; ele firmou o mundo, de modo que não pode ser abalado. Ele julgará os povos com retidão.

¹¹ Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice, let the sea and its fulness thunder.

¹¹ Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra; brame o mar e a sua plenitude.

¹² Let the field, and all that is in it, exult; let the trees of the forest ring out their joy

¹² Exulte o campo, e tudo o que nele há; então cantarão de júbilo todas as árvores do bosque

¹³ before the Lord: for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice and the nations with faithfulness.

¹³ diante do Senhor, porque ele vem, porque vem julgar a terra: julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos com a sua fidelidade.
