1 Hallelujah. Happy are those who fear the Lord, and greatly delight in his commandments.
1 Louvado seja o S enhor ! Como é feliz aquele que teme o S e tem prazer em obedecer a seus mandamentos!
2 Mighty on earth shall be their seed; a blessing shall rest on the race of the upright.
2 Seus filhos serão bem-sucedidos em toda a terra; uma geração inteira de justos será abençoada.
3 Wealth and riches are in their houses, their prosperity stands forever.
3 Em sua casa, haverá riqueza e prosperidade, e suas boas ações permanecerão para sempre.
4 To the upright arises light in the darkness; full of favour and pity and kindness are they.
4 A luz brilha na escuridão para o justo; ele é compassivo, misericordioso e íntegro.
5 It is well with those who show pity and lend, who support all their affairs upon justice.
5 Feliz é o que empresta com generosidade e conduz seus negócios honestamente.
6 For they will never be shaken; the just will be forever remembered.
6 Ele não será abalado; sua lembrança durará por muito tempo.
7 They will not be afraid of evil tidings, with steady heart they trust the Lord.
7 Não teme más notícias; confia plenamente no cuidado do S
8 Their heart is firm and unafraid: they know they will feast their eyes on their enemies.
8 É confiante e destemido; olha com triunfo para seus inimigos.
9 With lavish hands they give to the poor, and their prosperity stands forever. They are lifted to heights of triumph and honour.
9 Compartilha generosamente com os pobres, e seus atos de justiça serão lembrados para sempre; ele terá influência e honra.
10 The sight of them fills the wicked with anger: grinding their teeth with dispair. The hopes of the wicked will come to nothing.
10 O perverso verá isso e ficará furioso, rangerá os dentes de raiva e desaparecerá; seus desejos serão frustrados.
