1 And having called His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as to throw them out, and to heal every disease and every weakness of body.
1 E ele chamando a si os seus doze discípulos, deu-lhes poder contra os espíritos imundos, para os expulsarem, e para curarem toda espécie de doenças e toda espécie de enfermidades.
2 And the names of the twelve apostles are these: First, Simon who is called Peter and his brother Andrew, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John,
2 Ora, os nomes dos doze apóstolos são estes: O primeiro, Simão, chamado Pedro, e André, seu irmão; Tiago, filho de Zebedeu, e João, seu irmão;
3 Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew the tax-collector, James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbaeus, whose last name was Thaddaeus,
3 Filipe e Bartolomeu; Tomé e Mateus, o publicano; Tiago, filho de Alfeu, e Lebeu, cujo sobrenome era Tadeu;
4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
4 Simão, o cananita, e Judas Iscariotes, quem também o traiu.
5 Jesus sent these twelve out, charging them, saying: Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not go into a Samaritan city.
5 Estes Doze Jesus enviou, dando-lhes ordens, dizendo: Não ireis pelo caminho dos gentios, e não entreis em nenhuma cidade samaritana.
6 But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
6 Mas ide antes às ovelhas perdidas da casa de Israel.
7 And going on, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of Heaven has drawn near.
7 E, enquanto forem, pregai, dizendo: O reino do céu tem-se aproximado.
8 Heal sick ones, cleanse lepers, raise dead ones, cast out demons. You have freely received, freely give.
8 Curai os enfermos, purificai os leprosos, ressuscitai os mortos, expulsai os demônios; de graça recebestes, de graça dai.
9 Do not provide gold, nor silver, nor copper in your belts,
9 Não provisioneis ouro, nem prata, nem cobre, nos vossos cintos,
10 nor provision bag for the road, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staves. For the worker is worthy of his food.
10 nem alforje para sua jornada, nem duas túnicas, nem calçados, nem bordões; porque digno é o trabalhador do seu alimento.
11 And into whatever city or village you enter, search out who in it is worthy; and remain there until you go out.
11 E, em qualquer cidade ou aldeia em que entrardes, investigai quem nela é digno, e ali vos hospedeis até prosseguirdes.
12 But entering into the house, greet it;
12 E, quando entrardes em uma casa, saudai-a;
13 and if the house truly is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
13 E, se a casa for digna, deixai sobre ela a vossa paz; mas, se não for digna, torne para vós a vossa paz.
14 And whoever will not receive you, nor will hear your words, having gone out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.
14 E, todo aquele que não vos receber, nem ouvir as vossas palavras, quando vos partirdes daquela casa ou cidade, sacudi a poeira dos vossos pés.
15 Truly I say to you, It will be more bearable to the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in Judgment Day than for that city.
15 Na verdade eu vos digo que, no dia do juízo, haverá mais tolerância para a terra de Sodoma e Gomorra do que para aquela cidade.
16 Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
16 Eis que eu vos envio como ovelhas ao meio de lobos; portanto, sede sensatos como as serpentes e inofensivos como as pombas.
17 But beware of men. For they will betray you to sanhedrins, and they will flog you in their synagogues.
17 Mas cuidado com os homens; porque eles vos entregarão aos concílios, e vos açoitarão nas suas sinagogas;
18 And also you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.
18 e sereis levados à presença dos governadores e dos reis, por causa de mim, como testemunho contra eles e os gentios.
19 But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious how or what you should say, for it is given to you in that hour what you should say.
19 Mas quando vos entregarem, não cuideis de como ou o que haveis de falar, pois naquela hora vos será dado o que haveis de dizer.
20 For you are not the ones speaking, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
20 Porque não sois vós que falais, mas é o Espírito de vosso Pai que fala em vós.
21 But brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child. And children will rise up against parents and will put them to death.
21 E o irmão entregará à morte o irmão, e o pai o filho; e os filhos se levantarão contra os seus pais, e os colocarão para a morte.
22 And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one enduring to the end shall be kept safe.
22 E sereis odiados de todos os homens por causa do meu nome; mas aquele que perseverar até o fim será salvo.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly I say to you, In no way will you have finished the cities of Israel until the Son of man comes.
23 Quando vos perseguirem nesta cidade, fugi para outra; porque em verdade eu vos digo que não tereis percorrido as cidades de Israel sem que venha o Filho do homem.
24 A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a slave above his lord.
24 O discípulo não está acima de seu mestre, nem o servo acima de seu senhor.
25 It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household?
25 Basta ao discípulo ser como o seu mestre, e ao servo como seu senhor. Se chamaram Belzebu ao mestre da casa, quanto mais chamarão aos de sua casa?
26 Therefore, you should not fear them, for nothing is covered which will not be uncovered; and hidden, which will not be made known.
26 Portanto, não os temais; porque nada há encoberto que não venha a ser revelado, nem oculto que não venha a ser conhecido.
27 What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
27 O que eu vos digo às escuras, falai-o à plena luz; e o que ouvirdes no ouvido pregai-o sobre os telhados.
28 And you should not fear the ones killing the body, but not being able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him being able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.
28 E não temais os que matam o corpo, mas não podem matar a alma; temei antes aquele que pode destruir tanto a alma como o corpo no inferno.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? Yet not one of them shall fall to the ground without your Father.
29 Não se vendem dois pardais por um asse? E nenhum deles cairá em terra sem vosso Pai.
30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
30 Mas os próprios cabelos da vossa cabeça estão todos contados.
31 Then do not fear; you are better than many sparrows.
31 Portanto, não temais; mais valeis vós do que muitos pardais.
32 Then everyone who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in Heaven.
32 Portanto, qualquer que me confessar diante dos homens, eu também o confessarei diante de meu Pai que está no céu.
33 But whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father in Heaven.
33 Mas qualquer que me negar diante dos homens, eu também o negarei diante de meu Pai que está no céu.
34 Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
34 Não penseis que eu vim trazer paz à terra; eu não vim trazer paz, mas espada.
35 I came to dissever a man from his father, and a daughter from her mother, and a bride from her mother-in-law.
35 Porque eu vim pôr um homem em desacordo contra seu pai, e a filha contra sua mãe, e a nora contra sua sogra.
36 "And a man's enemies shall be those of his own house." Mic. 7:6
36 E os inimigos de um homem serão os da sua própria casa.
37 He that loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
37 O que ama o pai ou a mãe mais do que a mim não é digno de mim; e o que ama o filho ou a filha mais do que a mim não é digno de mim.
38 And whoever does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
38 E o que não toma a sua cruz e segue após mim, não é digno de mim.
39 The one finding his life shall lose it. And the one losing his life on account of Me shall find it.
39 O que encontrar a sua vida, perdê-la-á, e o que perder a sua vida por minha causa, encontra-la-á.
40 The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me.
40 O que vos recebe, a mim me recebe; e o que me recebe, recebe aquele que me enviou.
41 The one receiving a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one receiving a just one in the name of a just one will receive a just one's reward.
41 O que recebe um profeta em nome de um profeta, receberá recompensa de profeta; e quem recebe um homem justo em nome de um homem justo, receberá recompensa de um homem justo.
42 And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to drink to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, In no way will he lose his reward.
42 E todo o que der de beber ainda que seja um copo de água fria a um destes pequeninos apenas em nome de um discípulo, em verdade eu vos digo que de modo algum perderá a sua recompensa.
