1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
1 E falou o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão, dizendo-lhes:
2 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the living things which you shall eat out of all the animals which are on the earth.
2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Estes são os animais, que comereis dentre todos os animais que há sobre a terra;
3 Any that divides the hoof and is wholly clovenfooted, bringing up the cud, among the living things, you may eat it.
3 Dentre os animais, todo o que tem unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas se divide em duas, e rumina, deles comereis.
4 Only, you may not eat these, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof: the camel, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
4 Destes, porém, não comereis; dos que ruminam ou dos que têm unhas fendidas; o camelo, que rumina, mas não tem unhas fendidas; esse vos será imundo;
5 and the rock badger, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
5 E o coelho, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; esse vos será imundo;
6 and the hare, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
6 E a lebre, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; essa vos será imunda.
7 and the swine, though it divides the hoof and is clovenfooted, yet it does not bring up the cud; it is unclean to you.
7 Também o porco, porque tem unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas se divide em duas, mas não rumina; este vos será imundo.
8 You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their dead body; they are unclean to you.
8 Das suas carnes não comereis, nem tocareis nos seus cadáveres; estes vos serão imundos.
9 Of all that are in the waters, you shall eat these; any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the torrents, you may eat them.
9 De todos os animais que há nas águas, comereis os seguintes: todo o que tem barbatanas e escamas, nas águas, nos mares e nos rios, esses comereis.
10 But any one that does not have fins and scales in the seas, and in the torrents, of any swarming creature of the waters, and of any creature which lives in the waters; they are to be detested by you.
10 Mas todo o que não tem barbatanas, nem escamas, nos mares e nos rios, todo o réptil das águas, e todo o ser vivente que há nas águas, estes serão para vós abominação.
11 Yes, they shall be detested by you; you shall not eat of their flesh and you shall shun their dead bodies.
11 Ser-vos-ão, pois, por abominação; da sua carne não comereis, e abominareis o seu cadáver.
12 Any one that does not have fins and scales in the waters, it shall be an unclean thing to you.
12 Todo o que não tem barbatanas ou escamas, nas águas, será para vós abominação.
13 And these you shall count unclean among the fowls; they shall not be eaten; they are unclean: the eagle, and the black vulture and the bearded vulture,
13 Das aves, estas abominareis; não se comerão, serão abominação: a águia, e o quebrantosso, e o xofrango,
14 and the kite, and the falcon, according to its kind;
14 E o milhano, e o abutre segundo a sua espécie.
15 every raven according to its kind;
15 Todo o corvo segundo a sua espécie,
16 and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the gull, and small hawks, according to its kind
16 E o avestruz, e o mocho, e a gaivota, e o gavião segundo a sua espécie.
17 and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the eared owl;
17 E o bufo, e o corvo marinho, e a coruja,
18 and the barn owl, and the pelican and the owl-vulture;
18 E a gralha, e o cisne, e o pelicano,
19 and the stork, the heron according to its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.
19 E a cegonha, a garça segundo a sua espécie, e a poupa, e o morcego.
20 Every flying swarming creature going on all four, it is an abomination to you.
20 Todo o inseto que voa, que anda sobre quatro pés, será para vós uma abominação.
21 Only, this you may eat of any swarming thing which flies, which goes on all four, which has legs above its feet, to leap with them on the earth;
21 Mas isto comereis de todo o inseto que voa, que anda sobre quatro pés: o que tiver pernas sobre os seus pés, para saltar com elas sobre a terra.
22 these are those you may eat: the locusts according to its kind, and the bald locust according to its kind, and the long horned locust according to its kind, and the short horned grasshopper according to its kind.
22 Deles comereis estes: a locusta segundo a sua espécie, o gafanhoto devorador segundo a sua espécie, o grilo segundo a sua espécie, e o gafanhoto segundo a sua espécie.
23 But every swarming thing which flies, which has four feet, it is unclean to you.
23 E todos os outros insetos que voam, que têm quatro pés, serão para vós uma abominação.
24 And by these you shall be made unclean; any who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening.
24 E por estes sereis imundos: qualquer que tocar os seus cadáveres, imundo será até à tarde.
25 And anyone who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening;
25 Qualquer que levar os seus cadáveres lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde.
26 even every living thing which divides the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, and does not bring up the cud, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches them shall be unclean.
26 Todo o animal que tem unha fendida, mas a fenda não se divide em duas, e todo o que não rumina, vos será por imundo; qualquer que tocar neles será imundo.
27 And any going on its paws among all the living things which go on all four, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening;
27 E todo o animal que anda sobre as suas patas, todo o animal que anda a quatro pés, vos será por imundo; qualquer que tocar nos seus cadáveres será imundo até à tarde.
28 and he who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you.
28 E o que levar os seus cadáveres lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde; eles vos serão por imundos.
29 And these shall be unclean to you among the swarming things which swarm on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard according to its kind,
29 Estes também vos serão por imundos entre os répteis que se arrastam sobre a terra; a doninha, e o rato, e a tartaruga segundo a sua espécie,
30 and the gecko, and the monitor, and the lizard, and the sand lizard, and the barn owl.
30 E o ouriço cacheiro, e o lagarto, e a lagartixa, e a lesma e a toupeira.
31 These are unclean to you among all which swarm; anyone who touches them in their death is unclean until the evening.
31 Estes vos serão por imundos dentre todos os répteis; qualquer que os tocar, estando eles mortos, será imundo até à tarde.
32 And anything on which any one of them falls in their death is unclean, whether of any vessel of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack; any vessel in which work is done shall be caused to go into water, and shall be unclean until the evening; then it shall be cleaned.
32 E tudo aquilo sobre o que cair alguma coisa deles estando eles mortos será imundo; seja vaso de madeira, ou veste, ou pele, ou saco, qualquer instrumento, com que se faz alguma obra, será posto na água, e será imundo até à tarde; depois será limpo.
33 Ad any earthen vessel into the midst of which any one of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it.
33 E todo o vaso de barro, em que cair alguma coisa deles, tudo o que houver nele será imundo, e o vaso quebrareis.
34 And of all the food which may be eaten, that on which such water falls shall be unclean, and all drink that may be drunk in any such vessel shall be unclean.
34 Todo o alimento que se come, sobre o qual cair água de tais vasos, será imundo; e toda a bebida que se bebe, depositada nesses vasos, será imunda.
35 And anything on which any part of their dead body falls shall be unclean; an oven or hearth shall be broken down; they are unclean; yes, they are unclean to you.
35 E aquilo sobre o que cair alguma parte de seu corpo morto, será imundo; o forno e o vaso de barro serão quebrados; imundos são: portanto vos serão por imundos.
36 But a fountain or a well, a collection of water, shall be clean; only that touching the dead body is unclean.
36 Porém a fonte ou cisterna, em que se recolhem águas, será limpa, mas quem tocar no seu cadáver será imundo.
37 And when any part of their dead body falls on any sowing seed which is sown, it shall be clean;
37 E, se dos seus cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre alguma semente que se vai semear, será limpa;
38 but when water is put on the seed, and any of its dead body has fallen on it, it shall be unclean to you.
38 Mas se for deitada água sobre a semente, e se dos seus cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre ela, vos será por imunda.
39 And when any of the animals which are food for you dies, he who touches its dead body is unclean until the evening;
39 E se morrer algum dos animais, que vos servem de mantimento, quem tocar no seu cadáver será imundo até à tarde;
40 and he who eats of its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; and he who lifts up its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening.
40 E quem comer do seu cadáver lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde; e quem levar o seu corpo morto lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde.
41 And every swarming thing which swarms on the earth is unclean; it shall not be eaten;
41 Também todo o réptil, que se arrasta sobre a terra, será abominação; não se comerá.
42 Anything going on its belly, and any going on all four, and all having many feet, even every swarming thing that swarms on the earth, you shall not eat them, for they are unclean;
42 Tudo o que anda sobre o ventre, e tudo o que anda sobre quatro pés, ou que tem muitos pés, entre todo o réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra, não comereis, porquanto são uma abominação.
43 you shall not pollute yourselves with any swarming thing which swarms, nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, so that you should be defiled by them.
43 Não vos façais abomináveis, por nenhum réptil que se arrasta, nem neles vos contamineis, para não serdes imundos por eles;
44 For I am Jehovah your God, and you have sanctified yourselves, and you have become holy, for I am holy. And you shall not defile your persons with any swarming thing which creeps on the earth;
44 Porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus; portanto vós vos santificareis, e sereis santos, porque eu sou santo; e não vos contaminareis com nenhum réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra;
45 for I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and you shall be holy, for I am holy.
45 Porque eu sou o Senhor, que vos fiz subir da terra do Egito, para que eu seja vosso Deus, e para que sejais santos; porque eu sou santo.
46 This is the law of the animals, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which moves in the waters, and every creature which swarms on the earth,
46 Esta é a lei dos animais, e das aves, e de toda criatura vivente que se move nas águas, e de toda criatura que se arrasta sobre a terra;
47 to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.
47 Para fazer diferença entre o imundo e o limpo; e entre animais que se podem comer e os animais que não se podem comer.
