1 Paul, an apostle, not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, the One raising Him from the dead,
1 Paulo, apóstolo (não de homens, nem por algum homem, mas por Jesus Cristo, e por Deus o Pai, que o ressuscitou dentre os mortos);
2 and all the brothers with me, to the churches of Galatia.
2 e todos os irmãos que estão comigo, às igrejas da Galácia:
3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
3 Graça seja a vós e paz da parte de Deus o Pai, e de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo,
4 who gave Himself for our sins, so that He might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
4 o qual se deu por nossos pecados, para que pudesse nos livrar do presente mundo maligno, conforme a vontade de Deus e nosso Pai:
5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
5 A quem seja a glória para sempre e sempre. Amém.
6 I wonder that you are so quickly being transferred from Him having called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel,
6 Admiro-me de que tão breve vos desviastes daquele que vos chamou para a graça de Cristo para um outro evangelho,
7 which is not another; only there are some troubling you and desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ.
7 o qual não é um outro; entretanto, há alguns que vos perturbam, e querem perverter o evangelho de Cristo.
8 But even if we, or an angel out of Heaven, should announce a gospel to you beside what we preached to you, let him be accursed.
8 Porém, ainda que alguém, nós ou um anjo do céu, vos pregasse algum outro evangelho além do que vos pregamos, que seja ele amaldiçoado.
9 As we have said before, and now I say again, If anyone announces a gospel to you beside what you received, let him be accursed.
9 Como já vo-lo dissemos, digo-vos agora novamente, se algum homem pregar-vos algum outro evangelho além do que recebestes, que ele seja amaldiçoado.
10 For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I would not be a slave of Christ.
10 Pois, persuado eu agora a homens ou a Deus? Ou procuro agradar a homens? Se estivesse ainda agradando aos homens, não deveria ser servo de Cristo.
11 And, brothers, I make known to you the gospel preached by me, that it is not according to man.
11 Mas asseguro-vos, irmãos, que o evangelho que foi pregado por mim, não é segundo o homem.
12 For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it , but by a revelation of Jesus Christ.
12 Porque eu nem o recebi de homem, nem mo ensinaram, porém mediante a revelação de Jesus Cristo.
13 For you heard my way of life when I was in Judaism, that with surpassing zeal I persecuted the church of God and ravaged it.
13 Porque ouvistes minhas conversas anteriormente sobre quando eu vivia no judaísmo, como excessivamente eu perseguia a igreja de Deus, e a assolava.
14 And I progressed in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in my race, being much more a zealot of the traditions of my ancestors.
14 Superava na religião judaica a muitos dos meus companheiros na minha própria nação, sendo mais excessivamente zeloso das tradições de meus pais.
15 But when God was pleased, "He having separated me from my mother's womb" and having called through His grace, Isa. 49:1
15 Mas quando aprouve a Deus, que me separou desde o ventre de minha mãe, e me chamou pela sua graça,
16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,
16 revelar seu Filho em mim, para que eu o pregasse entre os gentios; imediatamente não consultei carne e sangue,
17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia and returned again to Damascus.
17 nem subi a Jerusalém para os que eram apóstolos antes de mim; mas parti para a Arábia, e outra vez retornei a Damasco.
18 Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Peter and remained with him fifteen days.
18 Então, depois de três anos, subi a Jerusalém para ver Pedro, e permaneci com ele por quinze dias.
19 But I saw no other of the apostles except James the brother of the Lord.
19 Mas dos outros apóstolos não vi nenhum, exceto Tiago, irmão do Senhor.
20 And what I write to you, behold, before God I do not lie.
20 Ora, acerca das coisas que vos escrevo, digo perante Deus que não minto.
21 Then I went into the regions of Syria and of Cilicia,
21 Depois eu vim para as regiões da Síria e Cilícia.
22 but I was not known by face to the churches of Judea in Christ.
22 Era, porém, desconhecido de vista às igrejas da Judeia, que estavam em Cristo.
23 But only they were hearing that he who was persecuting us then, now proclaims the faith which he then ravaged;
23 Porém, só ouviram dizer que aquele que nos perseguia no passado prega agora a fé que outrora destruía.
24 and they glorified God in me.
24 E glorificavam a Deus por mim.
