1 You shall not utter a false report; You shall not put your hand with the wicked, to become a violent witness.
1 — Não espalhe notícias falsas e não minta no tribunal para ajudar alguém.
2 You shall not run after many to gain evil things. And you shall not testify as to a lawsuit, to turn aside after many in order to pervert justice .
2 Não siga a maioria quando ela faz o que é errado e não dê testemunho falso para ajudar a maioria a torcer a justiça.
3 And you shall not favor the lowly in his lawsuit.
3 Não faça injustiça, nem mesmo para favorecer o pobre.
4 When you happen on the ox of your enemy, or his wandering ass, you shall surely return it to him.
4 — Se você vir o boi ou o jumento do seu inimigo andando perdido, leve-o de volta para ele.
5 When you see the ass of one who hates you crouching under its burden, you shall refrain from leaving it to him; you shall surely loose it from him.
5 Se o jumento dele cair debaixo da carga, não o deixe ali, mas ajude o dono a pôr o animal de pé.
6 You shall not pervert the judgment of your needy one in his lawsuit.
6 — Quando um pobre comparecer ao tribunal, não cometa injustiça contra ele.
7 You shall keep far away from a false matter. And do not kill the innocent and the righteous; for I will not justify the wicked.
7 Não faça acusações falsas, nem condene à morte uma pessoa inocente. Pois eu condenarei aquele que fizer essas coisas más.
8 And you shall not take a bribe, for the bribe blinds the seeing one, and it perverts the words of the righteous.
8 Não aceite dinheiro para torcer a justiça, pois esse dinheiro faz com que as pessoas fiquem cegas e não vejam o que é direito, prejudicando assim a causa daqueles que são inocentes.
9 And you shall not oppress an alien; and you know the life of an alien, since you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
9 — Não maltratem os estrangeiros que moram no meio de vocês. Vocês sabem como eles sofrem por serem estrangeiros, pois vocês foram estrangeiros no Egito.
10 And you shall sow your land six years, and you shall gather its produce.
10 — Durante seis anos você semeará as suas terras e colherá o que elas produzirem.
11 And the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, and the needy of your people shall eat. And what they leave, the animals of the field shall eat. So you shall do to your vineyard, to your oliveyard.
11 Porém no sétimo ano deixe que a terra descanse e não colha nada que crescer nela. Mas os pobres poderão comer o que crescer ali, e os animais selvagens comerão o que sobrar. Faça isso também com as suas plantações de uvas e de azeitonas.
12 You shall do your work six days, and on the seventh day you shall rest, so that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your slave-girl and your alien may be refreshed.
12 — Trabalhe seis dias por semana, mas no sétimo dia não faça nenhum trabalho para que os seus escravos, os seus animais e os estrangeiros que trabalham para você possam descansar.
13 And be watchful in all that I have said to you. And you shall not mention another god by name; it shall not be heard from your mouth.
13 — Deem atenção a tudo o que eu, o Senhor , tenho dito a vocês. Não façam orações a outros deuses, nem mesmo falem os nomes deles.
14 Three times in the year you shall make a feast to Me.
14 — Três vezes por ano vocês comemorarão uma festa em minha honra.
15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread . Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread , as I have commanded you, at the set time of the month of Abib. For in it you came out from Egypt, and they shall not appear before Me empty.
15 No mês de abibe , o mês em que vocês saíram do Egito, comemorem a Festa dos Pães sem Fermento como eu ordenei. Durante os sete dias da festa não comam pão feito com fermento. Que ninguém venha me adorar sem trazer uma oferta.
16 Also the Feast of Harvest, the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. Also the Feast of Ingathering, at the end of the year, at your gathering your work from the field.
16 — Comemorem a Festa da Colheita logo que vocês começarem a colher o que plantaram. — Comemorem a
17 Three times in the year every one of your males shall appear before the Lord Jehovah.
17 Três vezes por ano, nessas três festas, todos os homens devem vir adorar a mim, o Senhor Deus.
18 You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread. And the fat of My feast shall not pass the night until morning.
18 — Quando vocês oferecerem um animal em sacrifício a mim, não me tragam pão feito com fermento. A gordura dos animais mortos nos sacrifícios, durante as minhas festas, deverá ser queimada no mesmo dia.
19 The first, the firstfruits of your ground you shall bring to the house of Jehovah your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.
19 — Todos os anos tragam à casa do Senhor , seu Deus, os primeiros cereais que colherem. — Não cozinhem um cabrito ou um carneirinho no leite da sua própria mãe .
20 Behold, I am about to send an Angel before you, to guard you in the way, and to bring you to the place which I have prepared.
20 — Eu enviarei um anjo adiante de vocês para protegê-los na viagem e para levá-los ao lugar que lhes preparei.
21 Be on guard before Him, and listen to His voice. Do not be rebellious against Him, for He will not forgive your transgressions; for My name is in Him.
21 Deem atenção e obedeçam ao anjo. Não se revoltem contra ele, pois ele age em meu nome e não perdoará revoltas.
22 For if you fully listen to His voice, and do all which I speak, I will be an enemy to your enemies, and will be a foe to your foes.
22 Se vocês lhe obedecerem e fizerem tudo o que ele mandar, eu lutarei contra todos os inimigos de vocês.
23 For My Angel shall go before you and bring you in to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.
23 O meu anjo irá adiante de vocês e os levará até a terra dos amorreus, dos heteus, dos perizeus, dos cananeus, dos heveus e dos jebuseus. E eu destruirei todos esses povos.
24 You shall not bow down to their gods, and you shall not serve them. And you shall not do according to their works. But you shall surely tear them down, and you shall surely smash their pillars.
24 Não se curvem diante dos deuses deles, nem os adorem, e não sigam os seus costumes religiosos. Destruam os deuses deles e quebrem as colunas do deus Baal .
25 And you shall serve Jehovah your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will remove sickness from your midst.
25 Se vocês adorarem a mim, o Senhor , seu Deus, eu os abençoarei, dando-lhes comida e água, e tirarei de vocês todas as doenças.
26 There shall not be one miscarrying, nor one barren in your land. I will fulfill the number of your days.
26 Na terra de vocês nenhuma mulher terá aborto, nem ficará sem ter filhos. E eu darei a vocês uma vida longa.
27 I will send My terror before you, and I will confound all the people among whom you come. And I will give the neck of your enemies to you.
27 — Farei com que os povos que são contra vocês tenham medo de mim. Farei com que haja confusão entre os povos contra quem vocês vão lutar e farei com que os inimigos fujam de vocês.
28 And I will send hornets before you which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite before you.
28 Farei com que os seus inimigos fiquem apavorados. E, quando vocês forem avançando, eu expulsarei os heveus, os cananeus e os heteus.
29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year, that the land not become a waste, and the beast of the field multiply on you.
29 Não os expulsarei num ano só; se eu fizesse isso, a terra ficaria deserta, e os animais selvagens se tornariam numerosos demais, prejudicando vocês.
30 I will drive them out before you little by little, until you are fruitful and possess the land.
30 Pelo contrário, eu expulsarei esses povos pouco a pouco, até que vocês se tornem mais numerosos e tomem posse da terra.
31 And I will set your border from the Sea of Reeds as far as the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness as far as the River. For I will give the people of the land into your hand. And you shall drive them out before you.
31 Farei com que os limites da terra de vocês vão desde o golfo de Ácaba até o rio Eufrates e do mar Mediterrâneo até o deserto. Eu lhes darei poder para dominarem os povos daquelas terras, e vocês irão avançando e os expulsando.
32 You shall not cut a covenant for them and for their gods.
32 Não façam nenhum acordo com eles, nem com os seus deuses.
33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they cause you to sin towards Me. Surely when you serve their gods, it will be a snare to you.
33 Não deixem que esses povos vivam na terra de vocês. Se deixarem, eles farão com que vocês pequem contra mim. Se vocês adorarem os deuses deles, isso será uma armadilha mortal para vocês.
