1 Hear my words, O Yahweh. Give heed to my sighing.
1 Dá ouvidos às minhas palavras, ó Senhor; atende aos meus gemidos.
2 Listen to the sound of my pleading, my king and my God, for to you I pray.
2 Atende à voz do meu clamor, Rei meu e Deus meu, pois é a ti que oro.
3 O Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will set forth my case to you and I will watch.
3 Pela manhã ouves a minha voz, ó Senhor; pela manhã te apresento a minha oração, e vigio.
4 For you are not a God who desires wickedness. Evil cannot dwell with you.
4 Porque tu não és um Deus que tenha prazer na iniqüidade, nem contigo habitará o mal.
5 The boastful do not stand before your eyes. You hate all evildoers.
5 Os arrogantes não subsistirão diante dos teus olhos; detestas a todos os que praticam a maldade.
6 You destroy speakers of lies. ⌞A man of bloodshed⌟ and deceit Yahweh abhors.
6 Destróis aqueles que proferem a mentira; ao sanguinário e ao fraudulento o Senhor abomina.
7 ⌞But as for me⌟, through the abundance of your steadfast love I will enter your house. I will bow down toward ⌞your holy temple⌟ in awe of you.
7 Mas eu, pela grandeza da tua benignidade, entrarei em tua casa; e em teu temor me inclinarei para o teu santo templo.
8 O Yahweh, lead me in your righteousness because of my enemies; make straight before me your way.
8 Guia-me, Senhor, na tua justiça, por causa dos meus inimigos; aplana diante de mim o teu caminho.
9 For there is not anything reliable in his mouth; their inner part is destruction. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongue they speak deceit.
9 Porque não há fidelidade na boca deles; as suas entranhas são verdadeiras maldades, a sua garganta é um sepulcro aberto; lisonjeiam com a sua língua.
10 Treat them as guilty, O God; let them fall because of their plans. Because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out, for they have rebelled against you.
10 Declara-os culpados, ó Deus; que caiam por seus próprios conselhos; lança-os fora por causa da multidão de suas transgressões, pois se revoltaram contra ti.
11 But let all who take shelter in you rejoice. Let them ever sing for joy, ⌞because⌟ you spread protection over them; And let those who love your name exult in you.
11 Mas alegrem-se todos os que confiam em ti; exultem eternamente, porquanto tu os defendes; sim, gloriem-se em ti os que amam o teu nome.
12 For you bless the righteous. O Yahweh, like a shield you surround him with good favor.
12 Pois tu, Senhor, abençoas o justo; tu o circundas do teu favor como de um escudo.
