Isaías 45

1 Thus says Yahweh to his anointed one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped to subjugate nations before him, and I uncover the loins of kings to open doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:
1 Assim diz o SENHOR a seu ungido, a Ciro, cuja mão direita eu tenho sustentado, para subjugar nações perante ele. E eu afrouxarei os lombos de reis, para abrir perante ele os portões duplos. E os portões não estarão fechados.
2 “I myself will go before you, and I will level the ⌞mountains⌟. I will break the doors of bronze and cut throughthe bars of iron.
2 Eu irei antes de ti e farei os lugares tortuosos retos. Eu quebrarei em pedaços os portões de bronze, e cortarei em partes as barras de ferro.
3 And I will give you the treasures of darkness and treasures of secret places so that you may know that I am Yahweh, the one who calls you by your name, the God of Israel,
3 E te darei os tesouros da escuridão e as riquezas escondidas dos lugares secretos, para que tu possas saber que eu, o SENHOR, o qual te chama pelo teu nome, sou o Deus de Israel.
4 for the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen one. And I call you by your name; I give you a name of honor, though you do not know me.
4 Por amor do meu servo Jacó e de Israel, meu eleito, eu tenho te chamado pelo teu nome. Eu tenho te dado um sobrenome, embora tu não me tenhas conhecido.
5 I am Yahweh, and there is none besides me; besides me there is no god. I gird you though you do not know me,
5 Eu sou o SENHOR e não há ninguém mais, não há outro Deus fora de mim. Eu te cinjo, embora tu não me tenhas conhecido.
6 so that they may know from the rising of the sun and from the west that there is none besides me; I am Yahweh and there is none besides me.
6 Para que eles possam saber, desde o nascer do sol e desde o oeste, que não há outro fora de mim. Eu sou o SENHOR e não há outro.
7 I form light and I create darkness; I make peace and I create evil; I am Yahweh; I do all these things.
7 Eu formo a luz e crio escuridão, eu faço paz e crio o mal, eu o SENHOR faço todas estas coisas.
8 Trickle, O heavens, from above, and let clouds trickle with righteousness; let the earth open so that salvation may be fruitful, and let it cause righteousness to sprout along with it. I myself, Yahweh, have created it.
8 Descei vós céus, desde cima, e que os céus derramem justiça; que se abra a terra e que ela produza salvação; e que a justiça surja juntamente; Eu, o SENHOR, criei isto.
9 Woe to the one who strives with his ⌞maker⌟, a potsherd among potsherds of earth! Does the clay say to the one who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’ and ‘Your work has no hands’?
9 Ai daquele que contende com seu Criador! Deixe o caco contender com os cacos da terra. Dirá o barro para aquele que o modela: O que fazes tu? Ou tua obra: Ele não tem mãos?
10 Woe to the one who says to a father, ‘What you are begetting?’ or to a woman, ‘With what are you in labor?’ ”
10 Ai sobre aquele que diz para seu pai: O que tu geras como pai? Ou para a mulher: O que tens tu dado à luz?
11 Thus says Yahweh, the holy one of Israel, and its ⌞maker⌟: “Ask me of the things to come ⌞about⌟ my children, and you command me about the work of my hands.
11 Assim diz o SENHOR, o Santo de Israel, e Criador dele: Perguntai-me de coisas que virão concernentes a meus filhos e concernente ao trabalho de minhas mãos, demandai vós a mim.
12 I myself made the earth, and I created humankind upon it. I, my hands, stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.
12 Eu tenho feito a terra e criado o homem sobre ela. Eu, precisamente, minhas mãos, têm estendido os céus e todo seu exército eu tenho comandado.
13 I myself have stirred him up in righteousness, and I will make all his paths smooth. He himself shall build my city, and he shall set my exiles free, not for price or a gift,” says Yahweh of hosts.
13 Eu o tenho elevado em justiça e eu dirigirei todos os caminhos dele. Ele edificará minha cidade e deixará ir meus cativos, não por preço nem por recompensa, diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos.
14 Thus says Yahweh: “The acquisition of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush and the Sabeans, tall men, shall pass over to you; they shall be yours, and they shall walk behind you. They shall pass over in chains, and they shall bow down to you; they will pray to you: ‘Surely God is with you, and there is no other. Besides him there is no God.’ ”
14 Assim diz o SENHOR: O trabalho do Egito e o comércio da Etiópia e dos sabeus, homens de estatura, chegarão a ti e eles serão teus. E eles te seguirão, em correntes eles chegarão, e eles se prostrarão ante a ti. Eles farão súplica a ti, dizendo: Certamente, Deus está em ti e não há nenhum outro, não há nenhum outro Deus.
15 Surely you are a God who keeps yourself hidden, God of Israel, the savior.
15 Verdadeiramente, tu és um Deus que escondes a ti mesmo, ó! Deus de Israel, o Salvador!
16 All of them are ashamed and indeed humiliated; the craftsmen of idols go together in insult.
16 Eles serão envergonhados e também confundidos, todos eles. Eles irão para a confusão juntamente os que são fabricantes de ídolos.
17 Israel is saved by Yahweh with everlasting salvation; you shall not be ashamed, and you shall not be humiliated ⌞to all eternity⌟.
17 Israel, porém, será salvo no SENHOR com uma eterna salvação. Vós não sereis envergonhados nem confundidos por toda a eternidade.
18 For thus says Yahweh, ⌞who created⌟ the heavens, he is God, ⌞who formed⌟ the earth and ⌞who made⌟ it. He himself established it; he did not create it as emptiness— he formed it for inhabiting. “I am Yahweh and there is none besides me.
18 Porque assim diz o SENHOR que criou os céus; Deus, ele mesmo, que formou a terra e a fez. Ele a tem estabelecido, ele não a criou em vão, ele a formou para ser habitada. Eu sou o SENHOR e não há nenhum outro.
19 I have spoken not in secrecy, in a place, a land, of darkness, I have not said to the descendants of Jacob, ‘Seek me ⌞in vain⌟!’ I, Yahweh, am speaking righteousness, declaring uprightness.
19 Eu não tenho falado em segredo, em um lugar escuro da terra. Eu não disse à semente de Jacó: Buscai-me em vão. Eu, o SENHOR, falo justiça. Eu declaro coisas que são corretas.
20 Assemble and come; draw near together, survivors of the nations! They do not know, those who carry ⌞their wooden idols⌟ and pray to a god who cannot save.
20 Congregai-vos e vinde; aproximai-vos juntamente, vós sobreviventes das nações. Eles nada sabem, os que erigem suas imagens de madeira esculpida, e oram a um deus que não pode salvar.
21 Declare and present your case, also let them consult together! Who ⌞made this known⌟ from ⌞former times⌟, declared it from ⌞of old⌟? Was it not I, Yahweh? And there is no other god besides me, a righteous God besides me, and no savior besides me.
21 Contai vós e trazei-os para perto. Sim, permiti que eles tomem conselho juntamente. Quem tem declarado isto desde tempo antigo? Quem tem contado isto desde aquele tempo? Não tem sido eu, o SENHOR? E fora de mim não há nenhum outro Deus. Um Deus justo e um Salvador, não há nenhum além de mim.
22 Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none besides me.
22 Olhai para mim, e sereis salvos, todos os confins da terra, pois eu sou Deus e não há nenhum outro.
23 I have sworn by myself; a word that shall not return has gone forth from my mouth in righteousness: ‘Every knee shall kneel down to me; every tongue shall swear.’
23 Eu tenho jurado por mim mesmo, a palavra é saída da minha boca em justiça e não será revogada, tal que diante de mim todo joelho se dobrará e toda língua prestará juramento.
24 ‘Only in Yahweh,’ one shall say to me, ‘are righteousness and strength.’ He shall come to him, and all those who were angry with him shall be ashamed.
24 Certamente alguém dirá: No SENHOR eu tenho justiça e força, sim, para ele os homens virão e todos os que estão enfurecidos contra ele serão envergonhados.
25 In Yahweh all the offspring of Israel shall be in the right, and they shall boast.”
25 No SENHOR toda a semente de Israel será justificada e se gloriará.
