1 The oracle of Tyre: Wail, ships of Tarshish, for ⌞the house is destroyed so that no one can enter⌟; it is announced to them from the land of Cyprus.
1 A carga de Tiro. Gemei, vós navios de Társis, porque ela está devastada, então não há abrigo, não há entrada nela, desde a terra de Quitim isto é revelado a eles.
2 Be still, inhabitants of the coast, merchant of Sidon, who travels over the sea, they filled you.
2 Estai calados, vós habitantes da ilha; tu que os comerciantes de Sidom, que atravessam o mar, têm reabastecido.
3 And on the great waters is the seed of Shihor, the harvest of the Nile is its produce, and she was the merchandise of the nations.
3 E por grandes águas a semente de Sior, a colheita do rio é seu lucro e ela é um mercado de nações.
4 Be ashamed, Sidon, for the sea, the fortress of the sea said, saying, “I was not in labor, and I have not given birth, and I have not reared young men, brought up young women.”
4 Envergonhada sê tu, ó Sidom, porque o mar tem falado, precisamente, a força do mar, dizendo: Eu não entro em trabalho de parto, nem dou à luz crianças, nem alimento jovens nem crio virgens até a idade adulta.
5 When the report comes to Egypt, they will be in anguish at the report ⌞about⌟ Tyre.
5 Conforme o relato referente ao Egito então sentirão eles profunda dor ao relatar sobre Tiro.
6 Cross over to Tarshish! Wail, inhabitants of the coast!
6 Atravessai vós para Társis. Gemei, vós habitantes da ilha.
7 ⌞Is this your exultant one⌟, her origin from the days of long ago? Her feet brought her to dwell afar as an alien.
7 É esta sua alegre cidade, cuja antiguidade é de remotos dias? Seus próprios pés a levarão para bem longe, para uma estadia temporária.
8 Who has planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, whose merchants were princes, her traders the honored ones of the earth?
8 Quem tem criado este conselho contra Tiro, a gloriosa cidade, cujos mercadores são príncipes, cujos negociantes são os honrados da terra?
9 Yahweh of hosts has planned it: to defile the pride of all glory, to humble all the honored ones of the earth.
9 O SENHOR dos Exércitos tem proposto isso, para manchar o orgulho de toda glória, e para trazer em direção ao desprezo todo o honrado da terra.
10 Cross over your own land like the Nile, daughter of Tarshish; there is no longer a harbor.
10 Atravessa tua terra como a um rio, ó filha de Társis. Não há mais força.
11 He has stretched his hand out over the sea; he has made kingdoms shake. Yahweh has commanded concerning Canaan to destroy her fortresses.
11 Ele estendeu sua mão sobre o mar, ele sacudiu os reinos. O SENHOR tem ordenado contra a comerciante cidade, para destruir as fortalezas daquele lugar.
12 And he said, “You will not ⌞continue⌟ to exult, crushed one, ⌞virgin⌟ daughter of Sidon. Arise, cross over to Cyprus! There will be no rest for you even there.”
12 E ele disse: Tu não mais te alegrarás, ó tu, virgem oprimida, filha de Sidom. Levanta-te, atravessa em direção a Chipre. Também não haverá descanso lá para ti.
13 Look at the land of the Chaldeans! ⌞This people no longer exists. Assyria destined⌟ it for wild animals. They erected its siege towers; they demolished its citadel fortresses. It made her like a ruin.
13 Eis ali a terra dos caldeus; este povo não existia, até os assírios a fundarem para aqueles que habitam no deserto; eles ergueram as torres daquele lugar, erigiram os palácios dali e ele a levou à ruína.
14 Wail, ships of Tarshish! For your fortress is destroyed.
14 Gemei, vós, navios de Társis, porquanto a vossa força está devastada.
15 And this will happen on that day: And Tyre will be forgotten seventy years, like the days of one king. At the end of seventy years, it will be for Tyre like the song of the prostitute:
15 E acontecerá naquele dia que Tiro será esquecida setenta anos, de acordo com os dias de um rei. Após o término dos setenta anos, Tiro cantará como uma prostituta.
16 “Take a harp, go around the city, forgotten prostitute! Do it well, playing a stringed instrument! Make numerous songs, that you may be remembered.”
16 Pega a harpa, vai de um lado para o outro da cidade, tu, prostituta que tem sido esquecida. Faze doce melodia, canta muitas canções, para que provavelmente tu possas ser lembrada.
17 And this shall happen: at the end of seventy years, Yahweh will visit Tyre, and she will return to her harlot’s wages, and she will commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth.
17 E acontecerá após o término dos setenta anos que o SENHOR visitará Tiro, e ela voltará ao seu aluguel e cometerá fornicação com todos os reinos do mundo sobre a face da terra.
18 And this shall happen: her merchandise and her harlot’s wages will be set apart for Yahweh; it will not be stored up, and it will not be hoarded, but her merchandise will be for those who live before the ⌞presence⌟ of Yahweh, for eating to satiation and for fine clothing.
18 E sua mercadoria e seu aluguel serão consagrados ao SENHOR. Não serão acumulados nem estocados, porquanto sua mercadoria será para aqueles que habitam perante o SENHOR, para que se alimentem adequadamente e para vestuário durável.
