1 And he brought me back to the doorway of the temple and, look! There was water coming out from under the threshold of the temple eastward, because the face of the temple was eastwards; and the water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, from south of the altar.
1 Depois disso, me fez voltar à entrada da casa, e eis que saíam umas águas de debaixo do umbral da casa, para o oriente; porque a face da casa olhava para o oriente, e as águas vinham de baixo, desde a banda direita da casa, da banda do sul do altar.
2 And he brought me out by the way of the north gate and he led me around by the ⌞way leading to the outside of the outer gate⌟ by way of the gate facing east, and look, there was water trickling from the south side.
2 E ele me tirou pelo caminho da porta do norte e me fez dar uma volta pelo caminho de fora, até a porta exterior, pelo caminho que olha para o oriente; e eis que corriam umas águas desde a banda direita.
3 As the man went eastward a measuring line was in his hand, and he measured a thousand ⌞cubits⌟. And he led me through on into the water; it was ⌞ankle deep⌟.
3 Saiu aquele homem para o oriente, tendo na mão um cordel de medir; e mediu mil côvados e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos tornozelos.
4 And he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me over into the waters and it was ⌞knee deep⌟. And he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me over into the waters and it was ⌞waist deep⌟.
4 E mediu mais mil e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos joelhos; e mediu mais mil e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos lombos.
5 And he measured a thousand cubits, and it became a stream that I was not able to cross, because the water rose, ⌞waters a person could swim in⌟, and became a stream that could not be crossed.
5 E mediu mais mil e era um ribeiro, que eu não podia atravessar, porque as águas eram profundas, águas que se deviam passar a nado, ribeiro pelo qual não se podia passar.
6 And he asked me, “Son of man, did you see this?” And he made me go, and he brought me back along the bank of the stream.
6 E me disse: Viste, filho do homem? Então, me levou e me tornou a trazer à margem do ribeiro.
7 ⌞When I returned⌟, then look! On the bank of the river were many trees ⌞on both sides⌟.
7 E, tornando eu, eis que à margem do ribeiro havia uma grande abundância de árvores, de uma e de outra banda.
8 And he said to me, “These waters are going out to the eastern region, and they go down to the ⌞Jordan Valley⌟, and they come to the sea and flow into the sea where ⌞they issue out⌟, and the waters in the sea will be healed.
8 Então, me disse: Estas águas saem para a região oriental, e descem à campina, e entram no mar; e, sendo levadas ao mar, sararão as águas.
9 And then every living creature with which it teems, ⌞to every place the waters come⌟ it will live; and very many fish will live because these waters came there, and so the water will be healed and everything will be alive ⌞everywhere that⌟ ⌞the stream will come⌟.
9 E será que toda criatura vivente que vier por onde quer que entrarem esses dois ribeiros viverá, e haverá muitíssimo peixe; porque lá chegarão essas águas e sararão, e viverá tudo por onde quer que entrar esse ribeiro.
10 And then fishers from En Gedi and on up to En Eglaim will stand beside it, a sea-girt drying yard for nets; their fish for the dragnets will be ⌞of every kind⌟, like the fish of the great sea, and very many.
10 Será também que os pescadores estarão junto dele; desde En-Gedi até En-Eglaim, haverá lugar para estender as redes; o seu peixe, segundo a sua espécie, será como o peixe do mar Grande, em multidão excessiva.
11 But its marshes and its swamps will not be cured, for they were given for salt.
11 Mas os seus charcos e os seus lamaceiros não sararão; serão deixados para sal.
12 And along the stream will go up on its banks ⌞from both sides⌟ every tree ⌞producing food⌟; its leaf will not wither and it will not cease producing its fruit. ⌞Every month⌟ it will bear early fruit, for its waters are going out from the sanctuary, and its fruit will be as food, and its leaf for healing.”
12 E junto do ribeiro, à sua margem, de uma e de outra banda, subirá toda sorte de árvore que dá fruto para se comer; não cairá a sua folha, nem perecerá o seu fruto; nos seus meses produzirá novos frutos, porque as suas águas saem do santuário; e o seu fruto servirá de alimento, e a sua folha, de remédio.
13 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “This is the boundary by which you shall distribute the land for ⌞the twelve⌟ tribes of Israel: Two shares shall be for Joseph.
13 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová : Este será o termo conforme o qual tomareis a terra em herança, segundo as doze tribos de Israel. José terá duas partes.
14 And you must take possession of it, each one a share like his brother, of this land which ⌞I swore⌟ to give it to your fathers, and so this land shall fall to you as an inheritance.
14 E vós a herdareis, tanto um como o outro; pois sobre ela levantei a mão, para a dar a vossos pais; assim, que essa mesma terra vos cairá a vós em herança.
15 And this is the boundary of the land: ⌞On the north side⌟, from the great sea by the way of Hethlon ⌞until you come to Zedad⌟,
15 E este será o termo da terra, da banda do norte: desde o mar Grande, caminho de Hetlom, até à entrada de Zedade,
16 Hamath to Berothath to Sibraim, which is between the boundary of Damascus and the boundary of Hamath, on to Hazer Hatticon, which is on the boundary of Hauran.
16 Hamate, Berota, Sibraim (que estão entre o termo de Damasco e entre o termo de Hamate) e a cidade de Hazer-Haticom (que está junto ao termo de Haurã).
17 And so the boundary will be from the sea to Hazar Enan at the boundary of Damascus northwards and the boundary of Hamath to the north, and this is the boundary on the side of the north.
17 E o termo desde o mar será Hazer-Enom, no termo de Damasco, e na direção do norte está o termo de Hamate; este será o termo do norte.
18 ⌞And the eastern boundary⌟ will be between Hauran and Damascus, and from between Gilead and the land of Israel along the Jordan River from the boundary on the eastern sea to Tamar. And ⌞this is the border on the east⌟.
18 E o termo do oriente, entre Haurã, e Damasco, e Gileade, e a terra de Israel, será o Jordão; desde o termo do norte até ao mar do oriente medireis; este será o termo do oriente.
19 ⌞And on the south side the border⌟ will run from Tamar up to the waters of Meribot Kadesh and along the wadi to the Great Sea. And this is ⌞the boundary to the south⌟.
19 E o termo do sul será desde Tamar até às águas da contenda de Cades, junto ao ribeiro até ao mar Grande; este será o termo para o lado do sul.
20 ⌞And on the west side⌟ the Great Sea shall be the boundary up to opposite Lebo-Hamath. ⌞This is the western boundary⌟.
20 E o termo do ocidente será o mar Grande, desde o termo do sul até à entrada de Hamate; este será o termo do ocidente.
21 You shall divide this land for yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.
21 Repartireis, pois, esta terra entre vós, segundo as tribos de Israel.
22 And then you shall allocate it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens dwelling as aliens in the midst of you who have children in the midst of you, and so they shall be to you just like full citizens among the ⌞Israelites⌟. With you they shall be allotted with an inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel.
22 Será, porém, que a sorteareis para vossa herança e para a dos estrangeiros que peregrinam no meio de vós, que geraram filhos no meio de vós; e vos serão como naturais entre os filhos de Israel; convosco entrarão em herança, no meio das tribos de Israel.
23 And then in the tribe in which an alien who is with you dwells, there you shall give his inheritance,” ⌞declares⌟ the Lord Yahweh.
23 E será que, na tribo em que peregrinar o estrangeiro, ali lhe dareis a sua herança, diz o Senhor Jeová .
