1 Now these were the people of the province who came up from the captivity of the exile whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon carried captive to Babylonia. They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own city.
1 Estes são os filhos da província que subiram do cativeiro, dos transportados que Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, tinha levado para Babilônia, e tornaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um para a sua casa,
2 They came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

5 the descendants of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five;

59 Now these were the ones who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they were not able to prove their fathers’ household and their descent, if they were from Israel:
59 Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá e Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adã e Imer, porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais e sua linhagem, se de Israel eram.
60 the descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, and the descendants of Nekoda, six hundred and fifty-two.
60 Os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e cinquenta e dois.
61 And from the descendants of the priests: the descendants of Habaiah, the descendants of Hakkoz, and the descendants of Barzillai (who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called by their name).
61 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, que tomou mulher das filhas de Barzilai, o gileadita, e que foi chamado do seu nome.
62 These sought their record in the genealogy records, but they were not found, and ⌞were excluded from the priesthood as unclean⌟.
62 Estes buscaram o seu registro entre os que estavam registrados nas genealogias, mas não se acharam nelas; pelo que por imundos foram rejeitados do sacerdócio.
63 The governor said to them that they could not eat from the holy food of the sanctuary until there was present a priest for the Urim and Thummim.
63 E o tirsata lhes disse que não comessem das coisas sagradas até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e com Tumim.
64 The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
64 Toda essa congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
65 apart from their male and female servants, of whom were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven; and they had two hundred male and female singers.
65 afora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil trezentos e trinta e sete; também tinham duzentos cantores e cantoras.
66 Their horses numbered seven hundred and thirty-six, their mules numbered two hundred and forty-five,
66 Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis; os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
67 their camels numbered four hundred and thirty-five, their donkeys numbered six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
67 os seus camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; os jumentos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.
68 When some of the heads of ⌞families⌟ came to the house of Yahweh that is in Jerusalem, they gave freewill offerings for the house of God to erect it on its place.
68 E alguns dos chefes dos pais, vindo à Casa do Senhor , que habita em Jerusalém, deram voluntárias ofertas para a Casa de Deus, para a fundarem no seu lugar.
69 According to their ability they gave to the treasury room for the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priestly tunics.
69 Conforme o seu poder, deram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, sessenta e um mil daricos, e, em prata, cinco mil arráteis, e cem vestes sacerdotais.
70 The priests, the Levites, and some of the people lived in Jerusalem, and the singers, the gatekeepers, and the temple servants lived in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
70 E habitaram os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e alguns do povo, tanto os cantores como os porteiros e os netineus nas suas cidades, como também todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
