1 Now this is the blessing with which Moses, the man of God, blessed the ⌞Israelites⌟ ⌞before⌟ his death.
1 E esta é a bênção com que Moisés, o homem de Deus, abençoou os filhos de Israel, antes da sua morte.
2 Then he said, “Yahweh came from Sinai, and he dawned upon them from Seir; he shone forth from Mount Paran, and he came with myriads of holy ones, at his right hand a fiery law for them.
2 E ele disse: O SENHOR veio do Sinai, e se levantou de Seir até eles; ele brilhou desde o monte Parã, e veio com dez milhares de santos; da sua mão direita saía uma lei ardente para eles.
3 Moreover, ⌞he loves his people⌟, all the holy ones were in your hand, and they bowed down to your feet, ⌞each one accepted directions from you⌟.
3 Sim, ele amava o povo, todos os seus santos estão na tua mão; e eles se assentaram aos teus pés; todos receberão as tuas palavras.
4 A law Moses instructed for us, as a possession for the assembly of Jacob.
4 Moisés nos ordenou uma lei, a herança da congregação de Jacó.
5 And then a king arose in Jeshurun, at the gathering of the leaders of the people, ⌞united were the tribes of Israel⌟.
5 E ele foi rei em Jesurum, quando os cabeças do povo e as tribos de Israel se congregaram.
6 “May Reuben live, and may he not die, ⌞and let his number not be few⌟.”
6 Viva Rúben, e não morra; e não sejam poucos os seus homens.
7 ⌞And he said this of Judah⌟, “Hear, O Yahweh, the voice of Judah, and bring him to his people; his own hands strive for him, and may you be a help ⌞against⌟ his foes.”
7 Esta é a bênção de Judá, e ele disse: Ouve, SENHOR, a voz de Judá, e traze-o ao seu povo; suas mãos sejam suficientes para ele; e que lhe sejas uma ajuda contra seus inimigos.
8 And of Levi he said, “Your Thummim and your Urim are for ⌞your faithful one⌟, ⌞whom you tested at Massah⌟; you contended with him at the waters of Meribah.
8 E de Levi, ele disse: Sejam o teu Tumim e o teu Urim para o teu santo, a quem provaste em Massá, e com quem contendeste nas águas de Meribá;
9 The one saying of his father and of his mother, ‘I have not regarded them,’ and his brothers he did not acknowledge, and his children he did not know, but rather they observed your word, and your covenant they kept.
9 que disse ao seu pai e à sua mãe: Não o vi; e tampouco reconheceu seus irmãos, ou conheceu seus próprios filhos, porque eles observaram a tua palavra, e cumpriram o teu pacto.
10 They taught your regulations to Jacob, and your law to Israel; they placed incense smoke ⌞before you⌟, and whole burnt offerings on your altar.
10 Eles ensinarão a Jacó os teus juízos, e a Israel a tua lei; eles porão incenso diante de ti, e oferta queimada sobre o teu altar.
11 Bless, O Yahweh, his substance, and with the work of his hands you must be pleased; smite the loins of those who attack him, and those hating him, ⌞so that they cannot arise⌟.”
11 Abençoa, SENHOR, a sua riqueza, e aceita a obra de suas mãos; fere os lombos daquele que se levantar contra ele, e dos que o odeiam, para que não se levantem outra vez.
12 Of Benjamin he said, “The beloved of Yahweh dwells ⌞securely⌟, the Most High shields all around him, all the day, and between his shoulders he dwells.”
12 E de Benjamim, ele disse: O amado do SENHOR habitará em segurança junto a ele; e o SENHOR o cobrirá todo o dia, e ele habitará entre os seus ombros.
13 And of Joseph he said, “Blessed by Yahweh is his land, with the choice things of heaven, with dew, and with the deep lying down beneath,
13 E de José, ele disse: Bendita do SENHOR seja a sua terra pelas coisas preciosas dos céus, pelo orvalho, e pelas profundezas que jaz abaixo,
14 and with the choice things of the fruits of the the sun, and with the choice things of the yield of the ⌞seasons⌟,
14 e pelos preciosos frutos produzidos pelo sol, e pelas coisas preciosas produzidas pela lua,
15 and with the finest things of the ancient mountains, and with the choice things of the ⌞eternal hills⌟,
15 e pelas coisas excelentes dos montes antigos, e pelas coisas preciosas dos montes eternos,
16 and with the choice things of the earth and its fullness, and the favor of the one ⌞who dwelt⌟ in the bush. Let them come to the head of Joseph, and to the crown of the prince among his brothers.
16 e pelas principais coisas da terra e a sua abundância, e pela boa vontade daquele que habitava na sarça; a bênção venha sobre a cabeça de José, e sobre o topo da cabeça daquele que foi separado de seus irmãos.
17 As the firstborn of his ox, majesty ⌞belongs to him⌟, and his horns are the horns of a wild ox; with them he drives people together, and they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.”
17 A sua glória é como o primogênito do seu novilho, e seus chifres são como os chifres de unicórnios; com eles empurrará o povo até as extremidades da terra; e são os dez milhares de Efraim, e são os milhares de Manassés.
18 And of Zebulun he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out, and rejoice, Issachar, in your tents;
18 E de Zebulom, ele disse: Alegra-te, Zebulom, nas tuas saídas; e Issacar, em tuas tendas.
19 They summon people to the mountains; there they sacrifice the sacrifices of righteousness, because the affluence of the seas they suck out, and ⌞the most hidden treasures of the sand⌟.”
19 E eles chamarão o povo ao monte, e ali oferecerão sacrifício de justiça; porque chuparão da abundância dos mares, e dos tesouros ocultos na areia.
20 And of Gad he said, “Blessed be ⌞the one who enlarges Gad⌟; like a lion he dwells, and he tears an arm as well as a scalp.
20 E de Gade, ele disse: Abençoado seja aquele que dilatar Gade; ele habita como um leão, e rasga o braço com a coroa da cabeça.
21 And he selected the best part for himself, for there the portion of a ruler is included, and he came with the heads of the people; he did the righteousness of Yahweh, and his regulations for Israel.”
21 E ele proveu a primeira parte para si, porque ali, em uma porção do legislador, ele estava assentado; e veio com os cabeças do povo; ele executou a justiça do SENHOR e seus juízos com Israel.
22 And of Dan he said, “Dan is a cub of a lion; he leaps from Bashan.”
22 E de Dã, ele disse: Dã é um leãozinho; ele saltará de Basã.
23 And of Naphtali, he said, “Oh, Naphtali, sated of favor, and full of the blessing of Yahweh; take possession of the lake, and the land to the south.”
23 E de Naftali, ele disse: Ó Naftali, satisfeito com benevolência, e cheio com a bênção do SENHOR, possui tu o oeste e o sul.
24 And of Asher he said, “Blessed ⌞more than sons⌟ is Asher; ⌞may he be the favorite⌟ of his brothers, ⌞dipping his feet in the oil⌟.
24 E de Aser, ele disse: Seja Aser abençoado com filhos; seja aceitável a seus irmãos, e mergulhe seus pés em azeite.
25 Your bars are iron and bronze, and as your days, so is your strength.”
25 Os teus calçados serão ferro e bronze; e como os teus dias, assim será a tua força.
26 “There is no one like God, O, Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, and with his majesty through the skies.
26 Não há ninguém como o Deus de Jesurum, que cavalga sobre os céus, em tua ajuda, e em sua excelência no céu.
27 The God of ⌞ancient time⌟ is a hiding place, and underneath are the arms of eternity, and he drove out ⌞from before⌟ you your enemy, and he said, ‘Destroy them!’
27 O Deus eterno é teu refúgio. E debaixo estão os seus braços eternos; e ele expulsará o inimigo de diante de ti; e dirá: Destrói-os.
28 So Israel dwells alone and carefree, the spring of Jacob in a land of grain and wine; his heavens even drip dew.
28 Então Israel habitará só e em segurança; a fonte de Jacó estará em uma terra de grãos e vinho; também os seus céus gotejarão orvalho.
29 Blessed are you, O Israel. Who is like you, a people who is saved by Yahweh, the shield of your help, and who is the sword of your triumph, and your enemies, they shall fawn before you, and you shall tread on their backs.”
29 Feliz és tu, ó Israel; quem é como tu, ó povo salvo pelo SENHOR, o escudo do teu socorro, e que é a espada da tua excelência? E os teus inimigos serão descobertos como mentirosos diante de ti, e pisarás em seus lugares altos.
