1 God, hath taken his place in the august assembly, In the midst of the gods, will he judge.
1 Salmo de Asafe. Deus se encontra na congregação dos poderosos; ele julga entre os deuses.
2 How long will ye judge perversely, And, the countenances of the lawless, uplift? Selah.
2 Por quanto tempo julgareis injustamente, e aceitareis as pessoas dos perversos? Selá.
3 Vindicate the weak and the fatherless, The oppressed and the poor, see righted;
3 Defendei os pobres e os órfãos; fazei justiça ao aflito e ao necessitado.
4 Deliver the weak sad the needy, Out of the hand of the lawless, make rescue.
4 Livrai o pobre e o necessitado; liberte-os da mão dos perversos.
5 They know not, neither can they perceive, In darkness, they wander, All the foundations of the earth do shake.
5 Eles não conhecem, nem entendem; eles caminham na escuridão; todos os fundamentos da terra estão fora de curso.
6 I, said, Gods, ye are, Yea, sons of the Highest, are ye all;
6 Eu disse: Vós sois deuses, e todos vós sois filhos do Altíssimo.
7 But indeed, like the earth-born, shall ye die! And, like one of the princes, shall ye fall!
7 Todavia morrereis como homens, e caireis como um dos príncipes.
8 Arise! O God, judge thou the earth, For, thou, wilt inherit all the nations.
8 Levanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra. Pois tu herdarás todas as nações.
