¹ God is, known in Judah, In Israel, great is his Name;

¹ Conhecido é Deus em Judá, grande é o seu nome em Israel.

² Now hath come into Salem, his pavilion, And his dwelling-place into Zion.

² Em Salém está a sua tenda, e a sua morada em Sião.

³ There, hath he broken in pieces the arrows of the bow, shield and sword, and battle. Selah.

³ Ali quebrou ele as flechas do arco, o escudo, a espada, e a guerra.

⁴ Enveloped in light, thou, art more majestic than the mountains of prey.

⁴ Glorioso és tu, mais majestoso do que os montes eternos.

⁵ The valiant of heart have become a spoil, They have slumbered their sleep, And none of the men of might have found their hands.

⁵ Os ousados de coração foram despojados; dormiram o seu último sono; nenhum dos homens de força pôde usar as mãos.

⁶ At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Stunned are the horsemen.

⁶ À tua repreensão, ó Deus de Jacó, cavaleiros e cavalos ficaram estirados sem sentidos.

⁷ As for thee, to be feared thou art! Who then shall stand before thee, because of the power of thine anger?

⁷ Tu, sim, tu és tremendo; e quem subsistirá à tua vista, quando te irares?

⁸ Out of the heavens, didst thou cause judgment to be heard, Earth, feared and was still:

⁸ Desde o céu fizeste ouvir o teu juízo; a terra tremeu e se aquietou,

⁹ When God rose up to judgment, To save all the oppressed of the earth. Selah.

⁹ quando Deus se levantou para julgar, para salvar a todos os mansos da terra.

¹⁰ For the multitude of mankind shall give thanks unto thee, The remainder of the multitude, shall keep holy festival unto thee.

¹⁰ Na verdade a cólera do homem redundará em teu louvor, e do restante da cólera tu te cingirás.

¹¹ Vow and pay, unto Yahweh your God,Let, all who are round about him, bear along a gift unto him who is to be revered.

¹¹ Fazei votos, e pagai-os ao Senhor, vosso Deus; tragam presentes, os que estão em redor dele, àquele que deve ser temido.

¹² He cutteth off the spirit of nobles, he is of reverend majesty to the kings of the earth.

¹² Ele ceifará o espírito dos príncipes; é tremendo para com os reis da terra.
