Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs BKJ
1 We have given thanks unto thee, O God, we have given thanks, And, in calling upon thy Name, men have recounted thy wonders.
1 Ao Músico-chefe, Al-Tachete, Salmo ou Canção de Asafe. A ti, ó Deus, damos graças, a ti damos graças, pois o teu nome está perto; tuas maravilhosas obras declaram.
2 Surely I will take a set time,I, with equity, will judge:
2 Quando eu receber a congregação, julgarei retamente.
3 Earth was melting away with all its inhabitants, I, have fixed the pillars thereof. Selah.
3 A terra e todos os seus habitantes estão dissolvidos; eu suporto os seus pilares. Selá.
4 I have said to the boasters, Do not boast, And to the lawless, Do not lift up a horn;
4 Eu disse aos tolos: Não ajais tolamente; e ao perverso: Não levantai o chifre;
5 Do not lift up on high your horn, Nor speak of the Rock, with arrogance;
5 Não levanteis o vosso chifre ao alto; não faleis com o pescoço duro.
6 For neither from east nor west, Nor from the wilderness of thee mountains ;
6 Porquanto o auxílio não vem nem do leste, nem do oeste, nem do sul.
7 For, God himself, is about to judge, One, he will cast down, Another, he will lift up;
7 Mas Deus é o juiz; ele derruba um, e estabelece o outro.
8 For, a cup, is in the hand of Yahweh, Whose wine is foaming, It is full of spiced wine, Which he hath caused to flow from one to another,Surely, the dregs thereof, they shall drain outthey shall drink, Even all the lawless ones of the earth.
8 Pois na mão do SENHOR há uma taça, e o vinho é tinto; é cheio de mistura; e ele derrama o mesmo, mas as suas borras, todos os perversos da terra as torcerão, e as beberão.
9 But, I, will exult unto times age-abiding, I will sing praises unto the God of Jacob;
9 Mas eu declararei para sempre; cantarei louvores ao Deus de Jacó.
10 But, all the horns of the lawless, will I hew off,Exalted shall be the horns of the Righteous One.
10 Todos os chifres dos perversos também cortarei fora; mas os chifres do justo serão exaltados.
