1 Salmo para Salomão. Dê ao rei os teus juízos, ó Deus, e a tua justiça ao filho do rei.
2 May he judge, Thy people with righteousness; And thine oppressed ones with justice;
2 Ele julgará o teu povo com justiça, e aos teus pobres com juízo.
3 May the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills with righteousness;
3 As montanhas trarão paz ao povo, e os pequenos montes, por justiça.
4 May he, Vindicate the oppressed of the people, Bring deliverance to the children of the needy, and, Crush the oppressor.
4 Ele julgará os pobres do povo, salvará os filhos dos necessitados, e quebrará em pedaços o opressor.
5 Let men revere thee, With the sun, And in presence of the moon, Unto the remotest generation.
5 Eles te temerão enquanto durarem o sol e a lua, através de todas as gerações.
6 Let him come down, Like rain on fields to be mown, Like myriad drops on land to be reaped.
6 Ele descerá como a chuva sobre a grama cortada; como as chuvas que regam a terra.
7 May righteousness, in his days, blossom forth, And abundance of peace, till there be no moon.
7 Em seus dias o justo florescerá, e a abundância de paz haverá enquanto a lua durar.
8 So let him have dominion, From sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth; \fs15
8 Ele também dominará de mar a mar, desde o rio até os confins da terra.
9 Before him, let the men of the desert kneel, But, as for his foes, the dust, let them lick;
9 Aqueles que habitam no deserto se curvarão diante dele, e os seus inimigos lamberão o pó.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the Coastlands, A gift, let them render, The kings of Sheba and Seba, A present, let them bring;
10 Os reis de Társis e das ilhas trarão presentes; os reis de Sabá e Seba oferecerão presentes.
11 Yea let all kings, bow down unto him, Let, all nations, serve him;
11 Sim, todos os reis cairão diante dele; todas as nações o servirão.
12 Because he Rescueth, The needy from the rich, The oppressed, who hath no helper;
12 Pois ele livrará o necessitado quando ele clamar; também o pobre, e aquele que não tem ajudador.
13 He Pitieth the weak and the needy, And, the lives of the needy, he Saveth:
13 Ele poupará o pobre e o necessitado, e salvará as almas dos necessitados.
14 From extortion, and, violence, he Redeemeth their life, And precious is their flood in his sight.
14 Ele resgatará a sua alma do engano e da violência; e precioso será o seu sangue à sua vista.
15 Let him live, then! And be there given unto him of the gold of Sheba,Let prayer also be offered for him continually, All the day, let him be blessed.
15 E ele viverá, e a ele será dado o ouro de Sabá; orações também serão feitas por ele continuamente, e diariamente ele será louvado.
16 May there be an abundance of corn in the earth, in the top of the mountains,Let the fruit thereof, wave like Lebanon, And they of the city bloom like the fresh shoots of the earth.
16 Haverá um punhado de trigo na terra sobre o topo dos montes; o seu fruto sacudirá como o Líbano, e aqueles da cidade florescerão como a erva da terra.
17 May his Name he age-abiding, In the presence of the sun, let his Name flourish,And may all the families of the ground bless themselves in him, All nations, pronounce him happy!
17 Seu nome durará para sempre; seu nome será contínuo tanto quanto o sol, e os homens serão abençoados nele; todas as nações o chamarão de abençoado.
18 Blessed be Yahweh God, the God of Israel,Who doeth wondrous things by himself alone;
18 Bendito seja o SENHOR Deus, o Deus de Israel, que só faz coisas maravilhosas.
19 And blessed be his glorious Name, unto times ago-abiding,And filled with his glory be all the earth, Amen and Amen!
19 E bendito seja o seu glorioso nome para sempre, e encha-se toda a terra com a sua glória; Amém, e Amém.
