1 O God, to rescue me, O Yahweh, to help memake haste.
1 Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo de Davi, para trazer à lembrança. Apressa-te, ó Deus, para me livrar; apressa-te para me socorrer, ó SENHOR.
2 Let them turn pale and then at once blush, Who are seeking my life,Let them draw back, and be confounded, Who are taking pleasure in my misfortune;
2 Sejam envergonhados e confundidos aqueles que buscam a minha alma; voltem para trás e confundam-se aqueles que desejam me ferir.
3 Let them turn back, on account of their own shame, Who are saying, Aha! Aha!
3 Que eles se virem para trás como recompensa por sua vergonha, aqueles que dizem: Ah! Ah!
4 Let all them be glad and rejoice in thee, Yea, let them, who are seekers of thee,say continually, God be magnified! Who are lovers of thy salvation.
4 Que todos aqueles que te buscam se regozijem e fiquem felizes em ti; e que aqueles que amam a tua salvação digam continuamente: Magnificado seja Deus.
5 But, I, being humbled and needy, O God, haste to me,My help and my deliverer, art thou, O Yahweh do not tarry.
5 Mas eu sou pobre e necessitado; apressa-te a mim, Ó Deus. Tu és o meu socorro e o meu libertador; ó SENHOR, não te demores.
