1 Unto thee, O Yahweh, my soul, would I lift:
1 A ti, Senhor , elevo a minha alma.
2 O my God, in thee, have I put my trust, Let me not be put to shame, Let not my foe exult over me:
2 Deus meu, em ti confio; não seja eu envergonhado, nem exultem sobre mim os meus inimigos.
3 Yea let, none who wait for thee, be put to shame, Let them be put to shame who act covertly without cause!
3 Com efeito, dos que em ti esperam, ninguém será envergonhado; envergonhados serão os que, sem causa, procedem traiçoeiramente.
4 Thy ways, O Yahweh, let me know, Thy paths, teach thou me:
4 Faze-me, Senhor , conhecer os teus caminhos, ensina-me as tuas veredas.
5 Guide me into thy truth and teach me, for, thou, art my delivering God, For thee, have I waited all the day:
5 Guia-me na tua verdade e ensina-me, pois tu és o Deus da minha salvação, em quem eu espero todo o dia.
6 Remember thy compassions, O Yahweh, and thy lovingkindnesses, For, from age-past times, have they been.
6 Lembra-te, Senhor , das tuas misericórdias e das tuas bondades, que são desde a eternidade.
7 The sins of my youth, and my transgressions, do not thou call to mind,According to thine own lovingkindness, remember thou me, for the sake of thine own goodness, O Yahweh.
7 Não te lembres dos meus pecados da mocidade, nem das minhas transgressões. Lembra-te de mim, segundo a tua misericórdia, por causa da tua bondade, ó
8 Good and upright, is Yahweh, For this cause, will he direct sinners into the way.
8 Bom e reto é o Senhor , por isso, aponta o caminho aos pecadores.
9 May he guide patient wronged-ones to be righted, and teach such oppressed-ones his way.
9 Guia os humildes na justiça e ensina aos mansos o seu caminho.
10 All the paths of Yahweh, are lovingkindness and faithfulness, to such as keep his covenant, and his testimonies.
10 Todas as veredas do Senhor são misericórdia e verdade para os que guardam a sua aliança e os seus testemunhos.
11 For the sake of thy Name, O Yahweh, Therefore wilt thou pardon mine iniquity, for great it is.
11 Por causa do teu nome, Senhor , perdoa a minha iniquidade, que é grande.
12 Who then is the man that revereth Yahweh? Let him direct him into the way he should choose.
12 Ao homem que teme ao Senhor , ele o instruirá no caminho que deve escolher.
13 His soul, with prosperity, shall tarry, and, his seed, shall possess the land.
13 Na prosperidade repousará a sua alma, e a sua descendência herdará a terra.
14 Intimacy with Yahweh, have they who revere him, His covenant also, he letteth them know.
14 A intimidade do Senhor é para os que o temem, aos quais ele dará a conhecer a sua aliança.
15 Mine eyes, are continually unto Yahweh,for, he, bringeth, out of the net, my feet.
15 Os meus olhos se elevam continuamente ao Senhor , pois ele me tirará os pés do laço.
16 Turn thou unto me, and show me favour, for, alone and oppressed, I am.
16 Volta-te para mim e tem compaixão, porque estou sozinho e aflito.
17 The distresses of my heart, hath he relieved,and, out of my straits, brought me forth.
17 Alivia-me as tribulações do coração; tira-me das minhas angústias.
18 Behold my humiliation and my pain, and take away all my sins.
18 Considera as minhas aflições e o meu sofrimento e perdoa todos os meus pecados.
19 Behold my foes, for they abound,and, with the hatred of violence, do they hate me.
19 Considera os meus inimigos, pois são muitos e me abominam com ódio cruel.
20 Oh keep my soul, and rescue me, Let me not be put to shame, for I have sought refuge in thee.
20 Guarda-me a alma e livra-me; não seja eu envergonhado, pois em ti me refugio.
21 Let, blamelessness and uprightness, watch over me, because I have waited for thee.
21 Preservem-me a sinceridade e a retidão, porque em ti espero.
22 Redeem Israel, O God,out of all his distresses.
22 Ó Deus, redime a Israel de todas as suas tribulações.
