Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs NTLH
1 O Yahweh, in thy strength, will the king rejoice, and, in thy salvation, how greatly will he exult!
1 Ó Senhor Deus, o rei está muito feliz porque lhe deste força; está muito contente porque o tornaste vitorioso.
2 The longing of his heart, hast thou given him, and, the request of his lips, hast thou not withheld. Selah.
2 Tu satisfizeste os seus mais profundos desejos e lhe deste o que ele pediu.
3 For thou wilt come to meet him, with the blessings of goodness, Thou wilt set on his head, a crown of pure gold.
3 Tu o recebeste com bênçãos preciosas e puseste uma coroa de ouro na sua cabeça.
4 Life, he asked of thee, Thou hast given it him, length of days, to times age-abiding and beyond.
4 O rei pediu vida, e tu lhe deste vida longa, sem fim.
5 Great is his glory, in thy salvation, Honour and majesty, wilt thou lay upon him;
5 A glória do rei é grande porque tu o ajudaste. Tu lhe deste majestade e fama.
6 For thou wilt appoint him blessings evermore, wilt cheer him with joy by thy countenance;
6 As tuas bênçãos estão sobre ele para sempre, e a tua presença lhe dá muita alegria.
7 For, the king, is trusting in Yahweh, and, in the lovingkindness of the Highest, shall he not be shaken.
7 O rei confia no Senhor , o Deus Altíssimo; e, por causa do amor do ele será rei para sempre.
8 Thy hand, will find out, all thy foes, Thine own right hand, will find out them who hate thee.
8 O rei prenderá os seus inimigos; com a sua força ele prenderá todos os que o odeiam.
9 Thou wilt make them like a furnace of fire, at the time of thy presence,Yahweh, in his anger, will swallow them up, and there shall consume them a fire:
9 Ele aparecerá e os destruirá como um fogo devorador. Na sua o e o fogo acabará com eles.
10 Their fruitout of the earth, wilt thou destroy, and their seed, from among the sons of men;
10 Nenhum dos seus descendentes ficará vivo; o rei matará todos.
11 For they have held out, against thee, a wicked thing, They have devised a scheme they cannot accomplish.
11 Os inimigos planejam maldades e traições contra o rei, porém não terão sucesso.
12 For thou wilt cause them to turn their back, Upon thy bow-strings, wilt thou make ready against their face.
12 Ele atirará as suas flechas contra eles e os fará fugir.
13 Be exalted, O Yahweh, in thy strength! With song and with string will we sound forth thy power.
13 Ó Senhor Deus, nós te louvaremos por causa do teu poder; nós cantaremos e louvaremos a tua força.
