1 O Yahweh, in thy strength, will the king rejoice, and, in thy salvation, how greatly will he exult!
1 O rei se alegra em tua força, Senhor ; e na tua salvação grandemente se regozija.
2 The longing of his heart, hast thou given him, and, the request of his lips, hast thou not withheld. Selah.
2 Cumpriste-lhe o desejo do seu coração e não desatendeste as súplicas dos seus lábios. (Selá)
3 For thou wilt come to meet him, with the blessings of goodness, Thou wilt set on his head, a crown of pure gold.
3 Pois o provês das bênçãos de bondade; pões na sua cabeça uma coroa de ouro fino.
4 Life, he asked of thee, Thou hast given it him, length of days, to times age-abiding and beyond.
4 Vida te pediu, e lha deste, mesmo longura de dias para sempre e eternamente.
5 Great is his glory, in thy salvation, Honour and majesty, wilt thou lay upon him;
5 Grande é a sua glória pela tua salvação; de honra e de majestade o revestiste.
6 For thou wilt appoint him blessings evermore, wilt cheer him with joy by thy countenance;
6 Pois o abençoaste para sempre; tu o enches de gozo com a tua face.
7 For, the king, is trusting in Yahweh, and, in the lovingkindness of the Highest, shall he not be shaken.
7 Porque o rei confia no Senhor e pela misericórdia do Altíssimo nunca vacilará.
8 Thy hand, will find out, all thy foes, Thine own right hand, will find out them who hate thee.
8 A tua mão alcançará todos os teus inimigos; a tua mão direita alcançará aqueles que te aborrecem.
9 Thou wilt make them like a furnace of fire, at the time of thy presence,Yahweh, in his anger, will swallow them up, and there shall consume them a fire:
9 Tu os farás como um forno aceso quando te manifestares; o Senhor os devorará na sua indignação, e o fogo os consumirá.
10 Their fruitout of the earth, wilt thou destroy, and their seed, from among the sons of men;
10 Seu fruto destruirás da terra e a sua descendência, dentre os filhos dos homens.
11 For they have held out, against thee, a wicked thing, They have devised a scheme they cannot accomplish.
11 Porque intentaram o mal contra ti; maquinaram um ardil, mas não prevalecerão.
12 For thou wilt cause them to turn their back, Upon thy bow-strings, wilt thou make ready against their face.
12 Portanto, tu lhes farás voltar as costas; e com tuas flechas postas nas cordas lhes apontarás ao rosto.
13 Be exalted, O Yahweh, in thy strength! With song and with string will we sound forth thy power.
13 Exalta-te, Senhor , na tua força; então, cantaremos e louvaremos o teu poder.
