1 O Yahweh, in thy strength, will the king rejoice, and, in thy salvation, how greatly will he exult!
1 Na tua força, ó Senhor, o rei se alegra; e na tua salvação quão grandemente se regozija!
2 The longing of his heart, hast thou given him, and, the request of his lips, hast thou not withheld. Selah.
2 Concedeste-lhe o desejo do seu coração, e não lhe negaste a petição dos seus lábios.
3 For thou wilt come to meet him, with the blessings of goodness, Thou wilt set on his head, a crown of pure gold.
3 Pois o proveste de bênçãos excelentes; puseste-lhe na cabeça uma coroa de ouro fino.
4 Life, he asked of thee, Thou hast given it him, length of days, to times age-abiding and beyond.
4 Vida te pediu, e lha deste, longura de dias para sempre e eternamente.
5 Great is his glory, in thy salvation, Honour and majesty, wilt thou lay upon him;
5 Grande é a sua glória pelo teu socorro; de honra e de majestade o revestes.
6 For thou wilt appoint him blessings evermore, wilt cheer him with joy by thy countenance;
6 Sim, tu o fazes para sempre abençoado; tu o enches de gozo na tua presença.
7 For, the king, is trusting in Yahweh, and, in the lovingkindness of the Highest, shall he not be shaken.
7 Pois o rei confia no Senhor; e pela bondade do Altíssimo permanecerá inabalável.
8 Thy hand, will find out, all thy foes, Thine own right hand, will find out them who hate thee.
8 A tua mão alcançará todos os teus inimigos, a tua destra alcançará todos os que te odeiam.
9 Thou wilt make them like a furnace of fire, at the time of thy presence,Yahweh, in his anger, will swallow them up, and there shall consume them a fire:
9 Tu os farás qual fornalha ardente quando vieres; o Senhor os consumirá na sua indignação, e o fogo os devorará.
10 Their fruitout of the earth, wilt thou destroy, and their seed, from among the sons of men;
10 A sua prole destruirás da terra, e a sua descendência dentre os filhos dos homens.
11 For they have held out, against thee, a wicked thing, They have devised a scheme they cannot accomplish.
11 Pois intentaram o mal contra ti; maquinaram um ardil, mas não prevalecerão.
12 For thou wilt cause them to turn their back, Upon thy bow-strings, wilt thou make ready against their face.
12 Porque tu os porás em fuga; contra os seus rostos assestarás o teu arco.
13 Be exalted, O Yahweh, in thy strength! With song and with string will we sound forth thy power.
13 Exalta-te, Senhor, na tua força; então cantaremos e louvaremos o teu poder.
