1 I will lift up mine eyes, unto the mountains, From whence cometh my help!
1 Elevo os olhos para os montes: de onde me virá o socorro?
2 My help, is from Yahweh, who made heavens and earth.
2 O meu socorro vem do Senhor , que fez o céu e a terra.
3 May he not suffer thy foot, to slip, May thy keeper, not slumber!
3 Não deixará vacilar o teu pé; aquele que te guarda não tosquenejará.
4 Lo! neither will slumber nor sleep, The keeper of Israel.
4 Eis que não tosquenejará nem dormirá o guarda de Israel.
5 Yahweh, is thy keeper, Yahweh, is thy shade, on thy right hand:
5 O Senhor é quem te guarda; o Senhor é a tua sombra à tua direita.
6 By day, the sun, shall not smite, nor, the moon, by night.
6 O sol não te molestará de dia, nem a lua, de noite.
7 Yahweh, will keep thee from all harm, He will keep thy life.
7 O Senhor te guardará de todo mal; ele guardará a tua alma.
8 Yahweh, will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from henceforth, even unto times age-abiding.
8 O Senhor guardará a tua entrada e a tua saída, desde agora e para sempre.
