1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
1 O S enhor disse a Moisés:
2 Command the sons of Israel, That they bring unto theepure oil olive, beaten, for giving light,to cause the lamp to burn up continually.
2 “Ordene aos israelitas que tragam óleo puro de azeitonas prensadas para a iluminação do candelabro, a fim de manter as lâmpadas sempre acesas.
3 Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron order it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh continually,a statute age-abiding, to your generations.
3 É o candelabro que fica na tenda do encontro, em frente à cortina interna que protege a arca da aliança. Arão manterá as lâmpadas acesas na presença do S enhor a noite toda. Essa é uma lei permanente para vocês e deve ser cumprida de geração em geração.
4 Upon the pure lampstand, shall he order the lamps,before Yahweh, continually.
4 Arão e os sacerdotes manterão sempre em ordem, na presença do S enhor , as lâmpadas do candelabro de ouro puro.
5 And thou shalt take fine meal, and bake it, in twelve cakes,of two-tenths, shall each cake be.
5 “Asse doze pães de farinha da melhor qualidade usando quatro litros de farinha para cada pão.
6 And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row,upon the pure table, before Yahweh.
6 Coloque os pães diante do S enhor sobre a mesa de ouro puro e arrume-os em duas fileiras, com seis pães em cada fileira.
7 And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense,so shall it belong unto the bread as a memorial, an altar-flame unto Yahweh.
7 Coloque um pouco de incenso sobre cada fileira como oferta memorial, uma oferta especial apresentada ao S enhor .
8 Sabbath day by sabbath day, shall he order it before Yahweh continually,from the sons of Israel as an age-abiding covenant:
8 A cada sábado, coloque regularmente diante do S enhor esses pães como oferta da parte dos israelitas; é uma expressão contínua da aliança sem fim.
9 so shall it be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place,for most holy, shall it be unto him from among the altar-flames of Yahweh, a statute age-abiding.
9 Os pães pertencerão a Arão e seus descendentes, que os comerão num lugar sagrado, pois são santíssimos. Os sacerdotes terão direito permanente a essa porção das ofertas especiais apresentadas ao S enhor ”. A pena para quem blasfemar
10 And forth went the son of a woman of Israelhe being the son of a man of Egyptin the midst of the sons of Israel;
10 Certo dia, um homem, filho de uma israelita e de um egípcio, saiu de sua tenda e se envolveu numa briga com um dos israelitas.
11 and the son of the woman of Israel, and a man of Israel, reviled one another in the camp. And the son of the Israelitish woman uttered contemptuously the Name, and reviled. So they brought him in unto Moses,now, the name of his mother, was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
11 Durante a briga, o filho da israelita blasfemou o Nome com uma maldição. Por isso, foi levado a Moisés para ser julgado. A mãe dele se chamava Selomite, filha de Dibri, da tribo de Dã.
12 and they put him in ward,that a clear answer might be given to them at the mouth of Yahweh.
12 O homem foi mantido preso até ficar clara a vontade do S enhor a respeito de sua situação.
13 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
13 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés:
14 Bring forth him that reviled unto the out-side of the camp, then shall all that heard lean their hands upon his head,and all the assembly shall stone him.
14 “Leve o blasfemador para fora do acampamento e diga a todos que ouviram a maldição que coloquem as mãos sobre a cabeça dele. Depois, a comunidade toda o executará por apedrejamento.
15 And, unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak saying,What man soever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
15 Diga ao povo de Israel: Quem amaldiçoar o seu Deus será castigado por causa do seu pecado.
16 And, he that contemptuously uttereth the name of Yahweh, shall be, surely put to death, all the assembly shall, surely stone, him,as the sojourner so the home-born, when he contemptuously-uttereth the Name, he shall be put to death.
16 Quem blasfemar o nome do S enhor será morto por apedrejamento por toda a comunidade de Israel. Qualquer israelita de nascimento ou estrangeiro entre vocês que blasfemar o Nome será morto.
17 And, when, any man, by smiting taketh the life of any human being, he shall be surely put to death,
17 “Quem tirar a vida de outra pessoa será morto.
18 And he that by smiting taketh away the life of a beast, shall make it good,life for life.
18 “Quem matar um animal pertencente a outra pessoa a indenizará com um animal vivo.
19 And, when, any man, inflicteth a blemish upon his neighbour, as he hath done, so, shall it be done to him:
19 “Quem ferir outra pessoa será tratado de acordo com o ferimento que causou:
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he inflicteth a blemish upon a human being, so, shall one be inflicted upon him.
20 fratura por fratura, olho por olho, dente por dente. O dano que alguém fizer a outra pessoa, será feito a ele.
21 And he that killeth a beast, shall make it good,-and he that killeth a human being, shall be put to death.
21 “Quem matar um animal indenizará seu dono totalmente, mas quem matar uma pessoa será morto.
22 One rule, shall ye have, as the sojourner, so the home-born, shall be,For, IYahweh, am your God.
22 “A mesma lei se aplica tanto aos israelitas de nascimento como aos estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês. Eu sou o S enhor , seu Deus”.
23 So then Moses spake unto the sons of Israel, and they took forth the reviler, unto the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus, the sons of Israel did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
23 Depois que Moisés transmitiu todas essas instruções aos israelitas, eles levaram o blasfemador para fora do acampamento e o executaram por apedrejamento. Os israelitas fizeram exatamente conforme o S enhor havia ordenado a Moisés.
