Jeremias 30

1 The word which came unto Jeremiah, from Yahweh, saying:
1 Esta é a palavra que veio a Jeremias da parte do Senhor:
2 Thus, speaketh Yahweh, God of Israel, saying,Write thee all the words which I have spoken unto thee in a scroll;
2 "Assim diz o Senhor, o Deus de Israel: ‘Escreva num livro todas as palavras que eu lhe falei.
3 For lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, when I will turn the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, Saith Yahweh,and will bring them back into the land which I gave to their fathers that they might possess it.
3 Certamente vêm os dias’, diz o Senhor, ‘em que mudarei a sorte do meu povo, Israel e Judá, e os farei retornar à terra que dei aos seus antepassados, e eles a possuirão’, declara o Senhor".
4 Now, these, are the words which Yahweh hath spoken against Israel and against Judah:
4 Estas são as palavras que o Senhor falou acerca de Israel e de Judá:
5 Yea, thus, saith Yahweh, A voice of trembling, have we heard, Dread and not welfare!
5 "Assim diz o Senhor: " ‘Ouvem-se gritos de pânico, de pavor e não de paz.
6 Ask, I pray you, and see, whether a male travaileth with child! Why have I seen Every man with his hands upon his loins like a woman in travail, and Every face turned into ghastliness?
6 Pergunte e veja: Pode um homem dar à luz? Por que vejo, então, todos os homens com as mãos no estômago, como uma mulher em trabalho de parto? Por que estão pálidos todos os rostos?
7 Alas! for, great, is that day, so that none is like it,Yea, a time of anguish it is for Jacob, But out of it, shall he be saved.
7 Como será terrível aquele dia! Sem comparação! Será tempo de angústia para Jacó; mas ele será salvo.
8 And it shall come to pass in that day, Declareth Yahweh of hosts, That I will break his yoke from off thy neck, And thy bonds, will I tear off,And foreigners shall use him as a slave no more;
8 " ‘Naquele dia’, declara o Senhor dos Exércitos, ‘quebrarei o jugo que está sobre o pescoço deles e arrebentarei as suas correntes; não mais serão escravizados pelos estrangeiros.
9 But they shall serve Yahweh their God,and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
9 Servirão ao Senhor, ao seu Deus, e a Davi, seu rei, que darei a eles.
10 Thou therefore do not fear O my Servant Jacob Urgeth Yahweh, Neither be thou dismayed, O Israel, For behold me! saving thee from afar And thy seed out of the land of their captivity,Then shall Jacob return, and rest and be quiet, And there shall be none to make him afraid;
10 " ‘Por isso, não tema Jacó, meu servo! Não fique assustado, ó Israel! ’, declara o Senhor. ‘Eu o salvarei de um lugar distante, e os seus descendentes, da terra do seu exílio. Jacó voltará e ficará em paz e em segurança; ninguém o inquietará.
11 For with thee, am, I, Declareth Yahweh To save thee,Though I make an end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, Yet will I not of thee, make an end, But will chastise thee in measure, not holding thee, guiltless!
11 Porque eu estou com você e o salvarei’, diz o Senhor. ‘Destruirei completamente todas as nações entre as quais eu o dispersei; mas a você não destruirei completamente. Eu o disciplinarei, como você merece. Não o deixarei impune. ’
12 For Thus, saith Yahwehincurable is thine injury,Grievous is thy wound:
12 "Assim diz o Senhor: " ‘Seu ferimento é grave, sua ferida, incurável.
13 There is none to plead thy cause for binding thee up,Healing bandages, hast thou none:
13 Não há quem defenda a sua causa; não há remédio para a sua ferida, que não cicatriza.
14 All thy lovers, have forgotten thee, Thyself, do they not seek,For With the wounding of an enemy, have I wounded thee With the correction of one who is cruel, Because of the abounding of thine iniquity, Because numerous have been thy sins.
14 Todos os seus amantes esqueceram-se de você; eles não se importam com você. Eu a golpeei como faz um inimigo; dei-lhe um castigo cruel, porque é grande a sua iniqüidade e numerosos são os seus pecados.
15 Why shouldst thou make outcry over thine injury, Incurable is tiny pain? Because of the abounding of thine iniquity, numerous have been thy sins Have I done these things unto thee.
15 Por que você grita por causa do seu ferimento, por sua ferida incurável? Fiz essas coisas a você porque é grande a sua iniqüidade e numerosos são os seus pecados.
16 Therefore, all who devour thee, shall be devoured, And, all thine adversariesall of them, into captivity, shall depart,So shall they who plundered thee, be plundered, And all who preyed upon thee, will I deliver up as a prey.
16 " ‘Mas todos os que a devoram serão devorados; todos os seus adversários irão para o exílio. Aqueles que a saqueiam serão saqueados; eu despojarei todos os que a despojam.
17 For I will put a bandage upon thee, And from thy wounds, will I heal thee Declareth Yahweh,Because An outcast, they called thee, Tis, Zion! who hath none to ask for her welfare,
17 Farei cicatrizar o seu ferimento e curarei as suas feridas’, declara o Senhor, ‘porque a você, Sião, chamam de rejeitada, aquela por quem ninguém se importa’.
18 Thus, saith YahwehBehold me! bringing back the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And on his habitations, will I have compassion,So shall the city be built, upon her own mound, And the citadel, upon its own site, shall remain:
18 "Assim diz o Senhor: " ‘Mudarei a sorte das tendas de Jacó e terei compaixão das suas moradas. A cidade será reconstruída sobre as suas ruínas e o palácio no seu devido lugar.
19 So shall there proceed from them thanksgiving, and The sound of them who make merry,And I will multiply them, and they shall not become few, And will make them honourable, and they shall not be despised:
19 Deles virão ações de graça e o som de regozijo. Eu os farei aumentar e eles não diminuirão; eu os honrarei e eles não serão desprezados.
20 And, his sons, shall come to be as aforetime, And, his assembly, before me, shall continue,And I will bring punishment on all his oppressors;
20 Seus filhos serão como nos dias do passado, e a sua comunidade será firmada diante de mim; castigarei todos aqueles que os oprimem.
21 And, his illustrious one, shall spring, from himself, And his ruler, from his own midst, shall proceed, And I will bring him near and he shall approach unto me,For who is there that hath pledged his own heart to approach unto me? Demandeth Yahweh:
21 Seu líder será um dentre eles; seu governante virá do meio deles. Eu o trarei para perto e ele se aproximará de mim; pois quem se arriscaria a aproximar-se de mim? ’, pergunta o Senhor.
22 So shall ye become my people; And, I, will become your God.
22 Por isso vocês serão o meu povo, e eu serei o seu Deus’ ".
23 Lo! the tempest of Yahweh! Indignation, hath come forth, A tempest rolling itself upward,Upon the head of the lawless ones, shall it hurl itself down!
23 Vejam, a tempestade do Senhor! Sua fúria está a solta! Um vendaval vem sobre a cabeça dos ímpios.
24 The fierceness of the anger of Yahweh will not turn hack, Until he hath executed nor Until he hath established The purposes of his heart,In the afterpart of the days, shall ye understand it.
24 A ira do Senhor não se afastará até que ele tenha completado os seus propósitos. Em dias vindouros vocês compreenderão isso.
