1 For the rest, my brethrenrejoice in the Lord. To be writing, the same things, unto you, to me, is not irksome, while, for you, is safe:
1 Finalmente, meus irmãos, alegrem-se no Senhor! Escrever-lhes de novo as mesmas coisas não é cansativo para mim e é uma segurança para vocês.
2 Beware of the dogs, beware of mischievous workers, beware of the mutilation;
2 Cuidado com os cães, cuidado com esses que praticam o mal, cuidado com a falsa circuncisão!
3 For, we, are the circumcision, who in the Spirit of God, are doing divine service, and are boasting in Christ Jesus, and, not in flesh, having confidence,
3 Pois nós é que somos a circuncisão, nós que adoramos pelo Espírito de Deus, que nos gloriamos em Cristo Jesus e não temos confiança alguma na carne,
4 Although, indeed, I, might have confidence even in flesh. If any other thinketh to have confidence in flesh, I, more:
4 embora eu mesmo tivesse razões para ter tal confiança. Se alguém pensa que tem razões para confiar na carne, eu ainda mais:
5 Circumcised, the eighth day, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews,regarding law, a Pharisee,
5 circuncidado no oitavo dia de vida, pertencente ao povo de Israel, à tribo de Benjamim, verdadeiro hebreu; quanto à lei, fariseu;
6 Regarding zeal, persecuting the assembly, regarding the righteousness that is in law, having become blameless.
6 quanto ao zelo, perseguidor da igreja; quanto à justiça que há na lei, irrepreensível.
7 But, whatever things, unto me, were gain, the same, have I accounted, for the Christs sake, loss;
7 Mas o que para mim era lucro, passei a considerar perda, por causa de Cristo.
8 Yea, doubtless! and I account all things to be, loss, because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for the sake of whom, the loss, of all things, have I suffered, and do account them refuse, in order that, Christ, I may win,
8 Mais do que isso, considero tudo como perda, comparado com a suprema grandeza do conhecimento de Cristo Jesus, meu Senhor, por cuja causa perdi todas as coisas. Eu as considero como esterco para poder ganhar a Cristo
9 And be found in himnot having a righteousness of my own, that which is by law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is, of God, upon my faith,
9 e ser encontrado nele, não tendo a minha própria justiça que procede da lei, mas a que vem mediante a fé em Cristo, a justiça que procede de Deus e se baseia na fé.
10 To get to know him, and the power of his resurrection and fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death,
10 Quero conhecer a Cristo, ao poder da sua ressurreição e à participação em seus sofrimentos, tornando-me como ele em sua morte
11 If by any means I may advance to the earlier resurrection, which is from among the dead:
11 para, de alguma forma, alcançar a ressurreição dentre os mortos.
12 Not that I have, already, received, or have, already, reached perfection, but I am pressing onif I may even lay hold of that for which I have also been laid hold of by Christ Jesus :
12 Não que eu já tenha obtido tudo isso ou tenha sido aperfeiçoado, mas prossigo para alcançá-lo, pois para isso também fui alcançado por Cristo Jesus.
13 Brethren! I, as to myself, reckon that I have, not yet, laid hold; one thing, however,the things behind, forgetting, and, unto the things before, eagerly reaching out,
13 Irmãos, não penso que eu mesmo já o tenha alcançado, mas uma coisa faço: esquecendo-me das coisas que ficaram para trás e avançando para as que estão adiante,
14 With the goal in view, I press on for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.
14 prossigo para o alvo, a fim de ganhar o prêmio do chamado celestial de Deus em Cristo Jesus.
15 As many, therefore, as are full-grown, let, this, be our resolve; and, if, somewhat differently, ye are resolved, this, also, shall, God, unto you reveal.
15 Todos nós que alcançamos a maturidade devemos ver as coisas dessa forma, e se em algum aspecto vocês pensam de modo diferente, isso também Deus lhes esclarecerá.
16 Nevertheless, whereunto we have advanced, in the same rank, stepping along.
16 Tão-somente vivamos de acordo com o que já alcançamos.
17 Imitators together of me, become ye, brethren, and keep an eye on them who, thus, are walking,even as ye have, us, for, an ensample.
17 Irmãos, sigam unidos o meu exemplo e observem os que vivem de acordo com o padrão que lhes apresentamos.
18 For, many, are walkingof whom I have often been telling you, and, now, even weeping, am telling,the enemies of the cross of the Christ;
18 Pois, como já lhes disse repetidas vezes, e agora repito com lágrimas, há muitos que vivem como inimigos da cruz de Cristo.
19 Whose, end, is destruction, whose, God, is the belly, and , glory, is in their shame, who, upon the earthly things, are resolved.
19 Quanto a estes, o seu destino é a perdição, o seu deus é o estômago e têm orgulho do que é vergonhoso; eles só pensam nas coisas terrenas.
20 For, our citizenship, in the heavens, hath its rise; wherefore, a Saviour also, do we ardently await,The Lord Jesus Christ,
20 A nossa cidadania, porém, está nos céus, de onde esperamos ansiosamente um Salvador, o Senhor Jesus Cristo.
21 Who will transfigure our humbled body, into conformity with his glorified body, according to the energy wherewith he is able even to subdue, unto himself, all things.
21 Pelo poder que o capacita a colocar todas as coisas debaixo do seu domínio, ele transformará os nossos corpos humilhados, para serem semelhantes ao seu corpo glorioso.
