1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me. in the ninth year in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying:
1 Novamente, no ano nono, no décimo mês, no décimo dia do mês, a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
2 Son of man. Write thee the name of the day, this selfsame day,the king of Babylon cast himself against Jerusalem, on this selfsame day.
2 Filho do homem, escreve tu o nome deste dia, deste mesmo dia; o rei de Babilônia se pôs contra Jerusalém neste mesmo dia.
3 Put thou forth therefore, against the perverse house a parable, and say unto them Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh: Sot on the caldron set it on, Moreover also pour into it water:
3 E profere uma parábola à casa rebelde, e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Põe a panela, põe-na, e derrama água dentro dela.
4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, Every good piece thigh and shoulder, With the choice of the bones, fill it:
4 Ajunta os seus pedaços dentro dela, cada bom pedaço, a coxa e a espádua; enche-a com os ossos escolhidos.
5 Take of the choice of the rock, Moreover also pe of bones place under it,- Bo the pieces thereof, Yea let the bones of it seethe in the midst thereof.
5 Escolhe dentre o rebanho, e queima também os ossos debaixo dela, e faze-a ferver bem, e deixa ferver os seus ossos dentro dela.
6 Wherefore, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Woe! city of bloodshed. The caldron whose scum is in it, and whose scum, hath not gone out of it: Piece by piece, bring it out, There hath fallen thereon no lot.
6 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Ai da cidade sanguinária, da panela cuja escória está dentro, e cuja escória não saiu dela! Traze-a para fora pedaço por pedaço; não caia sorte sobre ela.
7 For, her own blood, hath come to be in her midst, Upon the smooth face of the cliff, hath she set it,- She hath not poured it out on the earth, that she might cover it with dust.
7 Porque o seu sangue está no meio dela; ela o pôs sobre o topo de uma rocha; não o derramou sobre a terra, para o cobrir com pó.
8 To bring up indignation to execute an avenging, have I set her blood upon the smooth face of the cliff,that it may not be covered.
8 Para que isso pudesse fazer subir a fúria, para tomar vingança, eu pus o seu sangue sobre o topo de uma rocha, para que isto não fosse coberto.
9 Wherefore Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Woe! city of bloodshed,Even I myself, will make large the pe.
9 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Ai da cidade sanguinária! Eu mesmo farei uma pilha para um grande fogo.
10 Heap on the wood Kindle the fire, Consume the flesh, Yea season with spice, And let the bones be scorched.
10 Amontoa madeira, acende o fogo, consome a carne, e tempera-a bem, e deixa os ossos queimarem.
11 Then set it upon the live coals thereof empty,that the copper of it may be scorched and burn. So that the impurity thereof may be annihilated within it The scum thereof be consumed,
11 Então, põe-na vazia sobre os seus carvões, para que o seu bronze possa estar quente, e possa queimar, e para que sua imundícia possa se fundir nela, e para que sua escória possa ser consumida.
12 With toils, hath she wearied herself,Since her abundant scum will not go out of her, into the fire, with her scum!
12 Ela se cansou com mentiras; e sua grande escória não saiu dela; sua escória estará no fogo.
13 In thine uncleanness, is lewdness; be- cause I purified thee and thou wast not purified, from thine uncleanness, thou shalt not be purified any more, until I have let mine indignation rest upon thee.
13 Na tua imundícia está a lascívia, porquanto te purguei, e tu não foste purgada, não serás mais purgada da tua imundícia, até que eu tenha feito minha fúria descansar sobre ti.
14 I Yahweh, have spoken It cometh and I will perform I will not let alone, neither will I shield, Nor will I repent,- According to thy ways and according to thy doings, have they judged thee, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
14 Eu, o SENHOR, o disse: Isso passará, e eu o farei; não voltarei atrás, nem pouparei, nem me arrependerei; de acordo com os teus caminhos, e de acordo com os teus feitos, eles te julgarão, diz o Senhor DEUS.
15 And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
15 Também, a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
16 Son of Man Behold! taking away from thee the delight of thine eyes, with a stroke,- But thou shall not lament Neither shalt thou weep, Neither shall comethy tears:
16 Filho do homem, eis que, eu tomo de ti o desejo dos teus olhos com um golpe; mesmo assim, não lamentarás, nem chorarás, nem tuas lágrimas escorrerão.
17 To groan, forbear, Over the deadno mourning, shalt thou make Thy chaplet, bind thou on thee And thy sandals:, put thou on thy feet, And thou shalt not cover thy beard, And the bread of other men, shalt thou not eat.
17 Deixa de chorar, não faças luto pelos mortos; prende o adorno da tua cabeça sobre ti, e põe tuas sandálias nos teus pés, e não cubras os teus lábios, e não comas o pão dos homens.
18 So I spake unto the people in the morning, and my wife died in the even,and I did in the morning, as I had been commanded.
18 Assim, eu falei ao povo pela manhã, e à tarde morreu minha mulher; e eu fiz pela manhã como me foi mandado.
19 Then said the people unto me: Wt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou shouldst be acting thus?
19 E o povo me disse: Tu não nos dirás o que estas coisas são para nós, para que tu faças assim?
20 So I said unto them: The word of Yahweh hath come unto me, saying:
20 Então eu lhes respondi: A palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
21 Say to the house of Israel thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! profaning my sanctuary. The pride of your strength, The delight of your eyes And the object of the tender regard of your soul,- And your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind, by the sword, shall fall.
21 Fala à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu profanarei o meu santuário, a excelência da vossa força, o desejo dos vossos olhos, e aquilo de que sua alma se compadece; e vossos filhos e vossas filhas, a quem deixastes, cairão à espada.
22 Then shall ye do, as I have done. The heard, shall ye not cover, And the bread of other men:, shall ye not eat;
22 E vós fareis como eu fiz; não cobrireis vossos lábios, nem comereis o pão dos homens.
23 And your chaplets shall be on your heads. And your sandals on your feet, Ye shall neither lament, nor weep,- Yet shall ye pine away in your iniquities, and shall groan one to another.
23 E vossos adornos estarão sobre vossas cabeças, e vossas sandálias nos vossos pés; não lamentareis, nem chorareis, mas definhareis por vossas iniquidades, e lamentareis uns com os outros.
24 So shall Ezekiel become to you a wonder, According to all that he hath done, shall ye do: When it cometh, then shall ye know that I am The Lord, Yahweh.
24 Assim, Ezequiel é sobre vós um sinal; de acordo com tudo o que ele fez, vós fareis; e quando isso vier, sabereis que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.
25 Thou, therefore Son of man, Shall it not be In the day when I take away from them Their strength, The joy of their adorning, The delight of their eyes And the desire of their soul, Their sons and their daughters
25 Também tu, filho do homem, no dia em que eu lhes tomar a sua força, a alegria da sua glória, o desejo dos seus olhos, e aquilo sobre o que eles puserem suas mentes, seus filhos e suas filhas,
26 That in that day, one that hath escaped shall come in unto thee,to cause thee to hear it with thine own ears?
26 para que aquele que escapar naquele dia, venha a ti para fazer com que tu o ouças com teus ouvidos?
27 That in that day, thy mouth shall be opened unto him that hath escaped, And thou shalt speak and not be dumb any longer? So shalt thou become to them a wonder, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
27 Naquele dia tua boca se abrirá àquele que tiver escapado, e tu falarás, e não serás mais mudo; e tu serás um sinal para eles, e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
