Ezequiel 22

1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
1 Além disso, a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
2 Thou therefore son of man, Wt thou judge wt thou judge the city of bloodshed; and cause her to know all her abominations?
2 Tu, pois, ó filho do homem, porventura julgarás, julgarás a cidade sanguinária? Sim, tu mostrarás a ela todas as suas abominações.
3 Thou shalt say then Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, A city shedding blood in her own midst That her time might come, Therefore hath she been making manufactured gods for herself, to be defiled.
3 Então, dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: A cidade que derrama sangue no seu meio, para que seu tempo possa vir, e fazer ídolos contra si mesma para se contaminar!
4 Because of the blood which thou hast shed, hast thou become guilty. And with the manufactured gods which thou hast made, hast thou defiled thyself, Thus hast thou brought near thy days, And hast come unto thy years, For this cause, have I delivered thee As a reproach to the nations, And as a derision to all the lands.
4 Tu te tornaste culpada em teu sangue que derramaste; e contaminaste a ti mesma em teus ídolos que fabricaste, e fizeste com que seus dias se aproximassem, e chegaste até mesmo aos teus anos; portanto, eu te fiz uma vergonha para os pagãos, e um escárnio para todos os países.
5 They who are near and they who are far off from thee shall shew themselves derisive over these, O thou of impure name, abounding in confusion!
5 Aqueles que estiverem perto, e aqueles que estiverem longe de ti, te escarnecerão, que és infame, e muito aborrecida.
6 Lo! the princes of Israel, very man for his own arm, have they been in thee, For the sake of shedding blood.
6 Eis os príncipes de Israel, cada um estavam em ti com o poder de derramar sangue.
7 Father and mother, have they despised in thee, To the sojourner, have they dealt with oppression in the midst of thee, The fatherless and the widow, have they maltreated in thee:
7 Em ti eles colocaram a luz, pelo pai e pela mãe; no meio de ti eles trataram com opressão o estrangeiro; em ti eles aborreceram o órfão e a viúva.
8 My holy things, hast thou despised,- And my sabbaths, hast thou profaned:
8 Tu desprezaste as minhas coisas santas, e profanaste os meus shabats.
9 Slanders, have arisen in thee For the sake of shedding blood,- And unto the mountains, have they eaten in thee, Lewdness, have they practised in the midst of thee:
9 Em ti há homens que carregam contos para derramarem sangue; e em ti eles comem sobre os montes; no meio de ti cometem lascívia.
10 A fathers shame hath been uncovered in thee, Her that was unclean in her removal, have they humbled in thee;
10 Em ti eles descobriram a nudez do pai; em ti eles humilharam aquela que estava separada por poluição.
11 And, one man, with the wife of his neighbour, hath wrought abomination, And another hath defiled this daughter-in- law by shameful deed, And another! his own sister daughter of his own father, hath humbled in thee:
11 Um cometeu abominação com a mulher do seu vizinho, e outro lascivamente contaminou sua nora; e outro em ti humilhou sua irmã, filha de seu pai.
12 Bribes, have they accepted in thee, For the sake of shedding blood,-Interest and increase, hast thou accepted And thou hast overreached thy neighbour by oppression, And me, hast thou forgotten, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
12 Em ti eles tomaram presentes para derramarem sangue; tu tomaste a usura e o aumento, e gananciosamente ganhaste de teus vizinhos pela extorsão, e me esqueceste, diz o Senhor DEUS.
13 Lo! therefore I have smitten my hand, At thine unjust gain which thou hast made And over thy bloodshed, which they have caused in thy midst.
13 Eis que, portanto, eu bati minha mão no teu ganho desonesto que fizeste, e no teu sangue que está no meio de ti.
14 Can thy heart endure or can thy hands be strong in the days when I am dealing with thee? I. Yahweh have spoken and will perform.
14 Pode teu coração suportar, ou podem tuas mãos estar fortes nos dias em que eu tratar contigo? Eu, o SENHOR, o disse, e o farei.
15 Therefore will I disperse thee among the nations, And scatter thee throughout the lands, And will cause to cease thine impurity out of thee;
15 E espalhar-te-ei entre os pagãos, e dispersar-te-ei nos países, e consumirei tua imundície de ti.
16 So shalt thou be profaned in thyself, before the eyes of nations, Thus shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh.
16 E tu tomarás a tua herança em ti mesmo à vista dos pagãos, e saberás que eu sou o SENHOR.
17 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:
17 E a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
18 Son of man, The house of Israel hath become to me, dross, They all are copper and tin and iron and lead in the midst of a furnace, The dross of silver, have they become.
18 Filho do homem, a casa de Israel está para se tornar escória; todos eles são bronze, e estanho, e ferro, e chumbo no meio da fornalha; eles são a escória da prata.
19 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because ye all are become dross, Therefore, behold me! gathering you into the midst of Jerusalem:
19 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porque vós todos vos tornastes em escória, por isso, eis que eu vos ajuntarei no meio de Jerusalém.
20 As they gather silver and copper and iron and lead and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow upon it the fire to melt it, So will I gather in mine anger and in mine indignation, and will let b. and will melt you;
20 Como eles juntam a prata, e o bronze, e o ferro, e o chumbo, e o estanho, no meio da fornalha, para assoprar o fogo sobre eles, para os derreter; assim eu vos juntarei na minha ira e na minha fúria, e vos deixarei lá e vos derreterei.
21 Yea I will gather you together, and blow upon you, with the fire of my wrath, And ye shall be melted in the midst thereof:
21 Sim, eu vos juntarei, e vos assoprarei no fogo da minha ira, e sereis derretidos no seu meio.
22 As silver is melted in he midst of a furnace, Sol shall ye be melted in the midst thereof, Then shall ye know that lit Yahweh have poured out mine indignation upon you.
22 Como a prata é derretida no meio da fornalha, assim sereis fundidos no meio dela; e sabereis que eu, o SENHOR, derramei a minha fúria sobre vós.
23 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
23 E a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
24 Son of man, say to her. Thou, art a land, that is not to be rained upon, nor to receive fruitful showers, in the day of indignation.
24 Filho do homem, dize-lhe: Tu és a terra que não está purificada, sem chuva no dia da indignação.
25 Because her princes in her midst are like a roaring lion rending prey, Life, have they devoured Wealth and precious things, have they been wont to take, Her widows, have they multiplied in her midst.
25 Há uma conspiração dos seus profetas no meio dela, como um leão que ruge, devorando a presa; eles devoraram as almas; tomaram o tesouro e coisas preciosas, fizeram muitas viúvas no meio dela.
26 Her priests have done violence to my law And have profaned my holy things, Between the hallowed and the common, have they put no difference, And between the unclean and clean, have they not taught men to discern,- And from my sabbaths, have they hid their eyes, So that I have been profaned in their midst.
26 Os seus sacerdotes transgridem a minha lei, e profanam as minhas coisas santas; eles não põem diferença entre o santo e o profano, nem mostram diferença entre o imundo e o limpo; e eles escondem seus olhos dos meus shabats, e eu sou profanado no meio deles.
27 Her rulers within her have been like wolves, rending prey,- In shedding blood In destroying lives, For the sake of getting dishonest gain.
27 Os seus príncipes no meio dela são como lobos devorando a presa, para derramarem sangue, e para destruírem as almas, para conseguirem o ganho desonesto.
28 And her prophets have coated it for them with whitewash, Seeing visions of falsehood And divining for them lies, Saying, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, when Yahweh, hath not spoken.
28 E os seus profetas os cobriram com argamassa de lodo, vendo a vaidade, e adivinhando-lhes mentiras, dizendo: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS; quando o SENHOR não falou.
29 The people of the land have exacted oppression, and seized plunder,- Even the afflicted and the needy, have they maltreated, And the sojourner have they oppressed without justice.
29 O povo da terra usou de opressão, exercitou o roubo, e aborreceu o pobre e o necessitado; sim, eles oprimiram o estranho injustamente.
30 Then sought I from among them, a man Who could bud up a wall And stand in the breach before me in behalf of the land So that I might not destroy her, But I found none.
30 E eu busquei por um homem entre eles, que fizesse o cerco, e que se pusesse na brecha diante de mim pela terra, para que eu não a destruísse; mas eu não encontrei nenhum.
31 Therefore have I poured out upon them mine indignation, In the fire of mine outburst, have I consumed them, Their way, upon their own head, have I placed Declareth, My Lord Yahweh.
31 Portanto, eu derramei a minha indignação sobre eles; eu os consumi com o fogo da minha ira; seu próprio caminho eu recompensei sobre suas cabeças, diz o Senhor DEUS.
