5 marking us out beforehand unto sonship, through Jesus Christ, for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 Unto the praise of the glory of his favour wherewith he favoured us in the Beloved One,

7 In whom we have the redemption through his blood, the remission of our offences, according to the riches of his favour,

8 which he made to superabound towards us; in all wisdom and prudence,

10 For an administration of the fulness of the seasons, to reunite for himself (under one head) the all things in the Christ, the things upon the heavens, and the things upon the earth, in him:

11 In whom also we were taken as an inheritance, according to the purpose of him who energiseth all things according to the counsel of his will,

12 That we should be for the praise of his glorywe who had hoped beforehand in the Christ,

13 In whom, ye alsohearing the word of the truth, the glad-message of your salvation,in whom also believing,were sealed with the Spirit of the promise, the Holy ,
13 Naatu kwa afa auman tur anababatun kwabai, yawas ana Tur Gewasin kwanonowar ana maramaim Jesu Keriso kwaitumitum yawas kwabai. Naatu God Anun Kakafiyin eo’omatani imaim ikwahi nowan kwamatar.
14 Which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of the acquisition;unto his glorious praise.
14 Imih Anun Kakafiyin i God ana ewow na’atube boro imaim nikwahit tanama God ana omatanen sabuw baitih isan eo boro it auman nit tanab naatu nafaramit tanatit, God tanifai tanabora’ara’ah i ana gewasin isan.
15 For this cause, I also,having heard of the faith on your part in the Lord Jesus, and that towards all the saints,
15 Ayu kwa a baitumatum fairin anababatun Regah Jesu kwaitumitum, naatu God ana sabuw etei kwabiyabuwih ana tur anonowar ana veya,
16 Cease not giving thanks in your behalf, making mention in my prayers,
16 ayu au merarayow kwa isa i men kafa’imo abihamiy, mar etei au yoyobanamaim anunuhi.
17 That, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you a Spirit of wisdom and understanding in gaining a personal knowledge of him,
17 Naatu God, ata Regah Jesu Keriso Tamah gewasin abifefeyan Anun Kakafiyin nit, saise boro so’ob nit a not narerekab God isa nirerereb kwanasu’ub gewas.
18 The eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that ye may knowwhat is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what the surpassing greatness of his power unto us who believe,according to the energy of the grasp of his might
19 Naatu ana fair gagamin na’in iyab i tabitumitum wanawanatamaim ebowabow kwana’itin kwanaso’ob. Naatu iti fair ta’imonamaim
20 which he energised in the Christ, when he raised him from among the dead, and seated him at his right hand in the heavenlies,
20 Keriso morobone iyawas bai yen mar bora’ara’aten ana efanamaim uman ana asukwafune ema’am.
21 Over-above all principality, authority, and power, and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one,
21 Keriso yen mamare i bonawiyenayah, roubabaruwenayah, fair ta ta hai ukwarih, aiwob ana’ahay ana mowar etei natabirih, men iti boun ana veya akisin, baise mar boro enanan auman i babanamaim, i akisinamo boro ni’aiwob.
22 And did put, all things, in subjection beneath his feet. And gave him to be head over all things unto the assembly,
22 God sawar etei Keriso anamaim yara’iyen wastanen naatu rubin ekaleisia tutufin etei isan, sawar etei hai ukwarin matar.
23 Which, indeed, is his body, the fulness of him who, the all things in all, is for himself filling up.
23 Ekaleisia i Keriso biyan. Taiyuwin ana’itinin i efan tata’amaim bowabow ta ta wanawanan i nati’imaim ebowabow.
