1 At that time, said Yahweh unto meCut thee out two tables of stone like the first, and come up unto me into the mountain,and make thee an ark of wood;
1 Naquele mesmo tempo me disse o SENHOR: Alisa duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras, e sobe a mim ao monte, e faze-te uma arca de madeira;
2 that I may write, upon the tables, the words which were on the first tables which thou brakest in pieces,then shalt thou put them in the ark.
2 E naquelas tábuas escreverei as palavras que estavam nas primeiras tábuas, que quebraste, e as porás na arca.
3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut out two tables of stone like the first,and went up the mountain, having the two tables in my hand.
3 Assim, fiz uma arca de madeira de acácia, e alisei duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras; e subi ao monte com as duas tábuas na minha mão.
4 And he wrote upon the tables according to the first writingthe ten words, which Yahweh had spoken unto you in the mountain, out of the midst of the fire in the day of the convocation,and Yahweh delivered them unto me.
4 Então escreveu nas tábuas, conforme à primeira escritura, os dez mandamentos, que o Senhor vos falara no dia da assembléia, no monte, do meio do fogo; e o Senhor mas deu a mim;
5 Then turned I, and came down out of the mountain, and put the tables in the ark which I had made,and they have remained there, as Yahweh commanded me.
5 E virei-me, e desci do monte, e pus as tábuas na arca que fizera; e ali estão, como o Senhor me ordenou.
6 And, the sons of Israel, set forward out of Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah,there, died Aaron and was buried there, and Eleazar his son became priest in his stead.
6 E partiram os filhos de Israel de Beerote-Bene-Jaacã a Moserá; ali faleceu Arão, e ali foi sepultado, e Eleazar, seu filho, administrou o sacerdócio em seu lugar.
7 From thence, set they forward unto the Gudgodah,and from the Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of torrents of water.
7 Dali partiram a Gudgodá, e de Gudgodá a Jotbatá, terra de ribeiros de águas.
8 At that time, did Yahweh separate the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of Yahweh,to stand before Yahweh to wait upon him and to bless in his name (until this day).
8 No mesmo tempo o Senhor separou a tribo de Levi, para levar a arca da aliança do Senhor, para estar diante do Senhor, para o servir, e para abençoar em seu nome até ao dia de hoje.
9 For this cause, hath Levi neither portion nor inheritance with his brethren,Yahweh, is his inheritance, as Yahweh thy God spake unto him.
9 Por isso Levi não tem parte nem herança com seus irmãos; o Senhor é a sua herança, como o Senhor teu Deus lhe tem falado.
10 But, I, stayed in the mountain according to the former days, forty days and forty nights,and Yahweh hearkened unto me at that time also, Yahweh was not willing a to destroy thee.
10 E eu estive no monte, como nos primeiros dias, quarenta dias e quarenta noites; e o Senhor me ouviu ainda por esta vez; não quis o Senhor destruir-te.
11 So then Yahweh said unto me, Up with theeto break away onward, before the people,that they may enter in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers, to give unto them.
11 Porém o Senhor me disse: Levanta-te, põe-te a caminho adiante do povo, para que entrem, e possuam a terra que jurei dar a seus pais.
12 Now, therefore, O Israel, what is, Yahweh thy God, asking of thee,but to revere Yahweh thy God to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Yahweh thy God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul:
12 Agora, pois, ó Israel, que é que o Senhor teu Deus pede de ti, senão que temas o Senhor teu Deus, que andes em todos os seus caminhos, e o ames, e sirvas ao Senhor teu Deus com todo o teu coração e com toda a tua alma,
13 to keep the commandments of Yahweh and his statutes, which I am commanding thee to-day,for thy good?
13 Que guardes os mandamentos do Senhor, e os seus estatutos, que hoje te ordeno, para o teu bem?
14 Lo! unto Yahweh thy God, belong the heavens even the highest heavens,the earth, with all that is therein.
14 Eis que os céus e os céus dos céus são do Senhor teu Deus, a terra e tudo o que nela há.
15 Only unto thy fathers, Yahweh became attached so as to love them,therefore made he choice of their seed after themof youout of all the peoples, (as at this day).
15 Tão-somente o Senhor se agradou de teus pais para os amar; e a vós, descendência deles, escolheu, depois deles, de todos os povos como neste dia se vê.
16 Therefore must ye circumcise the foreskin of your hearts,and your necks, must ye stiffen no more.
16 Circuncidai, pois, o prepúcio do vosso coração, e não mais endureçais a vossa cerviz.
17 For as touching Yahweh your God, he, is God of gods, and Lord of lords; the great the mighty, and the fearful GOD, who respecteth not persons, nor accepteth a bribe;
17 Pois o SENHOR vosso Deus é o Deus dos deuses, e o Senhor dos senhores, o Deus grande, poderoso e terrível, que não faz acepção de pessoas, nem aceita recompensas;
18 executing the vindication of the orphan and the widow,and loving sojourner, giving him food and raiment.
18 Que faz justiça ao órfão e à viúva, e ama o estrangeiro, dando-lhe pão e roupa.
19 Therefore shall ye love the sojourner,for sojourners, became ye in the land of Egypt.
19 Por isso amareis o estrangeiro, pois fostes estrangeiros na terra do Egito.
20 Yahweh thy God, shalt thou revere, Him, shalt thou serve,And unto him, shalt thou cleave, And in his name, shalt thou swear.
20 Ao Senhor teu Deus temerás; a ele servirás, e a ele te chegarás, e pelo seu nome jurarás.
21 He, is thy song of praise, And, he, thy God,who hath done with thee these great and fearful things, which thine own eyes have seen.
21 Ele é o teu louvor e o teu Deus, que te fez estas grandes e terríveis coisas que os teus olhos têm visto.
22 As seventy souls, went thy fathers down to Egypt,and, now, Yahweh thy God hath made thee like the stars of the heavens for multitude.
22 Com setenta almas teus pais desceram ao Egito; e agora o Senhor teu Deus te pôs como as estrelas dos céus em multidão.
