1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to point out unto his servants the things which must needs come to pass with speed,and he shewed them by signs, sending through his messenger, unto his servant John;
1 A Revelação de Jesus Cristo, que Deus lhe deu, para mostrar aos seus servos coisas que em breve devem acontecer; e ele a declarou enviando-a por meio de seu anjo a seu servo João.
2 who bare witness as to the word of God, and the witness of Jesus Christ,whatsoever things he saw.
2 Que deu testemunho da palavra de Deus, e do testemunho de Jesus Cristo, e de todas as coisas que ele viu.
3 Happy! he that readeth, and they who hear, the words of the prophecy, and keep the things, therein, written; for, the season, is, near.
3 Abençoado é aquele que lê, e aqueles que ouvem as palavras desta profecia, e guardam estas coisas que nela estão escritas, porque o tempo está próximo.
4 John, unto the Seven Assemblies which are in Asia, Favour to you, and peace, fromHim who Is, and who Was, and who is Coming, and fromThe Seven Spirits which are before his throne,
4 João, às sete igrejas que estão na Ásia: Graça esteja convosco, e a paz, daquele que é, que era e que há de vir; e dos sete Espíritos que estão diante de seu trono;
5 and fromJesus Christ,The Faithful Witness, The Firstborn of the Dead, and The Ruler of the Kings of the Earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us out of our sins with his blood,
5 e de Jesus Cristo, que é a fiel testemunha, e o primogênito dos mortos, e o príncipe dos reis da terra. A ele, que nos amou e nos lavou de nossos pecados em seu próprio sangue;
6 and he hath made us a kingdompriests unto his God and Father, Unto him, be the glory, and the dominion, unto the ages. Amen.
6 e nos fez reis e sacerdotes para Deus, seu Pai; a ele seja a glória e o domínio para sempre e sempre. Amém.
7 Lo! he cometh with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, such also as pierced him; and all the tribes of the land shall smite themselves for him. Yea! Amen.
7 Eis que ele vem com as nuvens, e todo olho há de vê-lo, e também aqueles que o perfuraram; e todas as famílias da terra se lamentarão por causa dele. Assim seja. Amém.
8 I, am, the A, and, the Z, saith the Lord,the, God who Is, and who Was, and who is Coming, The Almighty.
8 Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega, o princípio e o fim, diz o Senhor, que é, que era e que há de vir, o Todo-Poderoso.
9 I, John, your brother, and partaker with you in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Jesus, came to be in the isle that is called Patmos, because of the word of God, and the witness of Jesus.
9 Eu, João, que também sou vosso irmão e companheiro na tribulação e no reino e paciência de Jesus Cristo, estava na ilha que é chamada de Patmos, por causa da palavra de Deus, e do testemunho de Jesus Cristo.
10 I came to be, in Spirit, in the Lords Day, and heard, behind me, a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
10 Eu estava no Espírito, no dia do Senhor, e ouvi por trás de mim uma grande voz, como a de uma trombeta,
11 sayingWhat thou seest, write in a scroll, and send unto the Seven Assemblies,unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum,and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia,and unto Laodicea.
11 dizendo: Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega, o primeiro e o último; e o que tu vês, escreve em um livro, e envia-o às sete igrejas que estão na Ásia; a Éfeso, e a Esmirna, e a Pérgamo, e a Tiatira, e a Sardes, e a Filadélfia e a Laodiceia.
12 And I turned round, to see the Voice which was speaking with me, and, having turned, I saw Seven Lamps of gold;
12 E voltei-me para ver a voz que falava comigo. E, voltando-me, eu vi sete candelabros de ouro;
13 and, in the midst of the lamps, One like unto a Son of Man:clothed with a robe, reaching to the feet, and girt about at the breasts with a girdle of gold,
13 e no meio dos sete candelabros, alguém semelhante ao Filho do homem, vestido com uma roupa comprida até aos pés, e cingido com um cinto de ouro no seu peito.
14 And his head and hair, white, like white woollike snow, and, his eyes, like a flame of fire,
14 Sua cabeça e seus cabelos eram brancos como a lã, tão brancos como a neve, e os seus olhos eram como uma chama de fogo;
15 And, his feet, like unto glowing copper, as if in a furnace refined, and, his voice, like a sound of many waters,
15 e seus pés como bronze polido, como se queimassem em uma fornalha; e a sua voz como o som de muitas águas.
16 And, having in his right hand, seven stars, and, out of his mouth, a sharp, two-edged sword, going forth; and, his whole appearance, as when, the sun, shineth in its strength.
16 E ele tinha em sua mão direita sete estrelas, e da sua boca saía uma espada afiada de dois gumes e a sua face era como o sol quando brilha em sua força.
17 And, when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead, and he laid his right hand upon me, sayingDo not fear! I, am the First, and the Last,
17 E, quando o vi, caí como morto aos seus pés. E ele pôs sua mão direita sobre mim, dizendo: Não temas. Eu sou o primeiro e o último;
18 and the Living One,and I became dead;and lo! living, am I, unto the ages of ages, and have the keys of death and of hades.
18 Eu Sou Ele que vive, e que estava morto; e eis que eu estou vivo para sempre, amém; e tenho as chaves do inferno e da morte.
19 Write, thereforewhat things thou hast seen and what they are; and what things are about to come to pass, after these things:
19 Escreve as coisas que tu tens visto, as que são, e as que hão de acontecer.
20 The sacred secret of the seven stars, which thou sawest upon my right hand, and the seven lamps of gold:The seven stars, are, messengers of the seven assemblies, and, the seven lamps, are, seven assemblies
20 O mistério das sete estrelas que tu viste em minha mão direita, e dos sete candelabros de ouro. As sete estrelas são os anjos das sete igrejas, e os sete candelabros que tu viste são as sete igrejas.
