Por rá nguehca̱ xquí cuatijʉ car Jesucristo, ya xqui nu̱quijʉ rá zö car Tzi Ta ji̱tzi, cja̱ ya xí jogui gui cuatijʉ guegue‑ca̱ hne̱je̱. I ndo tzøh cam Tzi Tajʉ car tsjödi ca guí ña̱htibijʉ, más rá zö i tzøjø ni ndra ngue bbʉ i bböhti zu̱we̱ cja̱ i jña̱htibi pʉ jar altar.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Por rá ngue cam Tzi Jmu̱jʉ Jesucristo, i wej yʉ cja̱hni yʉ i e̱me̱, co ni yʉ jin gui ne da hñe̱me̱. Ya xí nzʉh ca hnar palabra ca i ju̱x pʉ jar Escritura. I ma̱ ncjahua car palabra‑ca̱:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Nugöjʉ, ncja ngu̱ xtá cuatijʉ jár dyɛ car Jesucristo, dí i̱htzibijʉ gá Jmu̱, cja̱ dí ndo jonijʉ. Nu cʉ cja̱hni cʉ jin gui ne da hñe̱me̱jʉ, i ma̱jmʉ, jin te i ntju̱mʉy guegue, cja̱ i tzanijʉ. Ncjapʉ xcá nzʉh car palabra ca i ma̱m pʉ jar Escritura. I i̱na̱:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Guejtjo xí nzʉh ca pé hnar palabra ca i ma̱:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Nuquiguɛjʉ, xí juanquijʉ car Tzi Ta ji̱tzi, xí cjahqui í ba̱jtziquijʉ. Guegue guejtjo bi hñi̱x car Jesucristo pa da mandado, cja̱ guegue‑ca̱ i mandadoquijʉ como xcú cuatijʉ jár dyɛ. Nuquiguɛjʉ, guejtjo guí jñɛjmʉ quí mɛfi ca Ocja̱ cʉ i sirvebijʉ pʉ jar templo, como nuya guí cuatijʉ car Tzi Ta ji̱tzi. Como ya xquí yojmʉ cár Tzi Ttʉ, ya xí jogui pa gui pɛjpijʉ car Tzi Ta ji̱tzi. Como ya xcú cjajʉ í cja̱hniquijʉ ca Ocja̱, ncjahmʉ ya xcú cjajʉ hnar ddadyo nación. Guegue xí hñi̱xquijʉ pa gui nzojmʉ cʉ pé dda cja̱hni, gui xijmʉ te tza rá zö car Jesucristo. Gui xijmʉ ja ncja xcá ngʉzquijʉ ca rá nttzo ca nguí tu̱jʉ. Bbʉ nguí bbʉpjʉ jar bbɛxu̱y, guegue bi nzohquijʉ cja̱ bú tziquijʉ jár tzi jogui jiahtzi.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Má̱hmɛto, jí̱ mí cja̱hniquijʉ ca Ocja̱, pe nuya, í mɛjtiquijʉ guegue. Má̱hmɛto, jí̱ mí jui̱quiquijʉ car Tzi Ta ji̱tzi, pe nuya, ya xí möxquijʉ co ni cár tzi tti̱jqui.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 ʉm tzi cjua̱da̱quijʉ, dí ma̱hquijʉ, cja̱ nuya dí mbe̱mbiquijʉ, masque dí bbʉjtijʉ hua jar jöy, pe ya jin dí mi̱ngu̱jʉ hua. Dí jñɛjmʉ cʉ cja̱hni cʉ rí ma hnahño ʉr jöy, cja̱ i tjojti hua jar mundo. Eso, dí xihquijʉ tzʉ, gui mfödijʉ, pa jin da da̱hquijʉ nttzomfe̱ni, cja̱ pa ya jin gui tɛnijʉ ca bbɛto ir hmʉyjʉ ca nguí bbʉpjʉ má̱hmɛto. Porque, bbʉ gui segue gui hmʉpjʉ ncjapʉ, ya jin da jogui gui tɛnijʉ ca Ocja̱.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Nuya, i nesta gui hmʉpjʉ rá zö, como i cca̱jtiqui quir vidajʉ cʉ cja̱hni cʉ jin gui e̱me̱. Yʉ pa ya, gueguejʉ i tzanquijʉ, i ma̱jmʉ, rá nttzoquiguɛjʉ. Pe bbʉ gui segue gui dyøtijʉ ca rá zö, ba e̱h car pa bbʉ xta ncjua̱nijʉ, xta ma̱jmʉ, rá zö guir hmʉpjʉ. Bbʉ xta ncja car juicio cja̱ xta tja̱mpijʉ ʉr huɛnda cʉ cja̱hni‑cʉ, da ma̱jmʉ, rá ndo zö ca Ocja̱, como guehca̱ guí tɛnijʉ‑ca̱.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Nuquɛjʉ, gui dyøjtijʉ göhtjo cʉ autoridad, como i fa̱di guí yojmʉ cam Tzi Jmu̱jʉ Jesús. Gui dyøjtijʉ ca hnaa ca más i mandado hua jar jöy, como guegue‑ca̱ i pɛhtzi car cargo ca más rá ji̱tzi.

14 Gui dyøjtijʉ hne̱je̱ car gobernador ca i mandado pʉ jabʉ guí bbʉpjʉ. Guegue‑ca̱ xí ttun cár cargo pa da castiga cʉ cja̱hni cʉ jin gui ne da dyøjti cʉ ley, cja̱ pa da xih cʉ pé ddaa cja̱hni cʉ i øjte, bí jogui da nrespeta‑cʉ, como rá zö ga hmʉpjʉ. Nuquɛjʉ, gui hmʉpjʉ ncjapʉ, pa da tti̱zquijʉ, hne̱je̱.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Guehca̱ i ne cam Tzi Tajʉ ji̱tzi, tzʉdi, gui dyøtijʉ ca rá zö, pa da gohti í ne cʉ cja̱hni cʉ i tzanquijʉ. Guegue‑cʉ jin gui ntzohmi te i ma̱jmʉ, cja̱ jin gui pa̱dijʉ ja i ncja nʉ́r palabra ca Ocja̱.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Nuquiguɛjʉ, ca ya xquí pønijʉ jar bbɛxu̱y, ya xquí bbʉpjʉ libre. Pe dyo guí mbe̱nijʉ, nuya i tjɛquijʉ gui dyøtijʉ cosa rá nttzo, cja̱ da perdonaquitjojʉ ca Ocja̱ co ni cár tzi tti̱jqui. Jin gui tzö car mfe̱ni‑cá̱. Nuya, gui mbe̱nijʉ, í mɛjtiquijʉ ca Ocja̱, ncjahmʉ ya xcú cja̱jʉ í muzoquijʉ, como nuya guí bbʉpjʉ pa gui dyøhtibijʉ ca i ne guegue.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Gui nú̱jʉ rá zö göhtjo yʉ cja̱hni, cja̱ gui ma̱dijʉ göhtjo cʉ xí hñe̱me̱ cam Tzi Jmu̱jʉ. Gui hñi̱htzibijʉ car autoridad ca xí ttun cár cargo pa da mandado hua jar jöy, cja̱ guejti ca Ocja̱ gui tzu̱jʉ hne̱je̱.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Nuquɛjʉ, guí muzojʉ, gui cjajpijʉ ʉ́r jmandado quir patrónjʉ, cja̱ gui dyøjtijʉ. Jin gui jøntsjɛtjo cʉ jogui jmu̱ gui dyøjtijʉ, pe guejtjo hne̱je̱ cʉ ddaa cʉ jin gui pɛhtzi ntti̱jqui.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Porque i tzøh ca Ocja̱ bbʉ dí mbe̱nijʉ guegue cja̱ dí øtijʉ ca i ne, masque i tzanguijʉ cja̱ i ʉnguijʉ cʉ cja̱hni rá nttzo. Bbʉ dí sufrijʉ porque dár øtijʉ ca rá zö, bí jantiguijʉ ca Ocja̱ ncjahmʉ dár sufrijʉ por rá ngue guegue, cja̱ i tzøjø.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Pe bbʉ guí øtijʉ cosa rá nttzo cja̱ i ttʉnquijʉ por rá nguehca̱, jin gui tzøh ca Ocja̱ ca guír sufrijʉ, bbʉ. Nubbʉ, i nesta gui mbe̱nijʉ, ir nttzojquitsjɛjʉ ca xcá ttahqui quer castigojʉ, bbʉ. Pe bbʉ i ttʉnquijʉ por rá nguehca̱ guír dyøtijʉ ca rá zö, cja̱ bbʉ guí pɛhtzibi‑tjojʉ ʉr tti̱jqui cʉ to i ʉnquijʉ, nuca̱ i tzøh ca Ocja̱‑ca̱.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Nugöjʉ xí nzojquijʉ cam Tzi Tajʉ ji̱tzi pa xtú tɛnijʉ car Jesucristo, cja̱ nuya i nesta gu hmʉpjʉ ncja ngu̱ nguá hmʉh‑ca̱. Guegue‑ca̱ bi ncastiga, hasta bi bböhti, cja̱ jin gá cohtzibi ca rá nttzo cʉ cja̱hni cʉ bi ʉni. Mí u̱jtjo jin te múr du̱mʉy pa di ncastiga guegue.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Jin gá dyøti tema cosa drá nttzo. Jí̱ mí ndu̱jpite, cja̱ jin gá ma̱ tema palabra gá ntjöti.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Bbʉ mí ttzani, jin te gá nda̱di, cja̱ bbʉ mí ttʉni, jin gá ngöhmi cʉ cja̱hni cʉ már øhtibi ca rá nttzo. Jøntjo bi nzoh cár Tzi Ta ji̱tzi, bi ndötsjɛ jár dyɛ, como mí pa̱di, guegue‑ca̱ i øti jujticia.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Car Tzi Jesús, bbʉ mí ddøti pʉ jar ponti, bi gu̱ti ca rá nttzo ca ndí tu̱jʉ. Ncjahmʉ dú yojmʉ guegue bbʉ mí du̱. Eso, ya jin da mandadoguijʉ cm nttzomfe̱nijʉ pa gu cjajʉ ca rá nttzo. Nuya, ya xí jogui pa gu øtijʉ ca rá zö. Guehca̱ gá ttʉn car Jesucristo co ca̱ gá bböhti, xí ngʉzquijʉ car castigo ca di ttajquijʉ, cja̱ nuya dí bbʉpjʉ rá zö.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Má̱hmɛto, ndí ncjajʉ ncja ngu̱ cʉ dɛjti cʉ xquí bbɛdi, como xtá wembijʉ car Tzi Ta ji̱tzi. Pe nuya, pé xtú cojmʉ pa gu tɛnijʉ car Tzi Jogui Mödi ca i neguijʉ cja̱ i föj yʉm tzi mʉyjʉ.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
