2 Samuel 7
New Simplified Bible (NSB) vs ARA
1 King David was settled in his palace. Jehovah kept him safe from all his enemies.
1 Sucedeu que, habitando o rei Davi em sua própria casa, tendo-lhe o Senhor dado descanso de todos os seus inimigos em redor,
2 The king said to the prophet Nathan: »I live in a house built of cedar. Yet the Ark of God is kept in a tent!«
2 disse o rei ao profeta Natã: Olha, eu moro em casa de cedros, e a arca de Deus se acha numa tenda.
3 Nathan answered: »Do what you have in mind. Jehovah is with you.«
3 Disse Natã ao rei: Vai, faze tudo quanto está no teu coração, porque o Senhor é contigo.
4 That night Jehovah said to Nathan,
4 Porém, naquela mesma noite, veio a palavra do Senhor a Natã, dizendo:
5 »Go tell my servant David that I say to him: You are not the one to build a temple for me to live in.
5 Vai e dize a meu servo Davi: Assim diz o Senhor : Edificar-me-ás tu casa para minha habitação?
6 »From the time I rescued the people of Israel from Egypt until now, I have never lived in a temple. I have traveled around living in a tent.
6 Porque em casa nenhuma habitei desde o dia em que fiz subir os filhos de Israel do Egito até ao dia de hoje; mas tenho andado em tenda, em tabernáculo.
7 »In all my traveling with the people of Israel I never asked any of the leaders that I appointed why they had not built me a temple made of cedar.«
7 Em todo lugar em que andei com todos os filhos de Israel, falei, acaso, alguma palavra com qualquer das suas tribos, a quem mandei apascentar o meu povo de Israel, dizendo: Por que não me edificais uma casa de cedro?
8 »Say this to my servant David: This is what Jehovah of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture where you followed sheep so that you could be the leader of my people Israel.
8 Agora, pois, assim dirás ao meu servo Davi: Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Tomei-te da malhada, de detrás das ovelhas, para que fosses príncipe sobre o meu povo, sobre Israel.
9 »I was with you wherever you went. I destroyed all your enemies in front of you. I will make your name famous like the names of the greatest people on earth.
9 E fui contigo, por onde quer que andaste, eliminei os teus inimigos diante de ti e fiz grande o teu nome, como só os grandes têm na terra.
10 »I will make a place for my people Israel and plant them there. They will dwell in their own place and not be troubled anymore. The wicked will not oppress them as they used to do
10 Prepararei lugar para o meu povo, para Israel, e o plantarei, para que habite no seu lugar e não mais seja perturbado, e jamais os filhos da perversidade o aflijam, como dantes,
11 when I let judges rule my people. I have kept your enemies from attacking you. Now I promise that you and your descendants will be kings.
11 desde o dia em que mandei houvesse juízes sobre o meu povo de Israel. Dar-te-ei, porém, descanso de todos os teus inimigos; também o Senhor te faz saber que ele, o Senhor , te fará casa.
12 »I will choose one of your sons to be king when you reach the end of your life and are buried in the tomb of your ancestors. I will make him a strong ruler.
12 Quando teus dias se cumprirem e descansares com teus pais, então, farei levantar depois de ti o teu descendente, que procederá de ti, e estabelecerei o seu reino.
13 »I will allow no one to take his long lasting kingdom away from him. He will be the one to build a temple for me.
13 Este edificará uma casa ao meu nome, e eu estabelecerei para sempre o trono do seu reino.
14 »I will be his father. He will be my son. When he does wrong I will correct him just as parents correct children.
14 Eu lhe serei por pai, e ele me será por filho; se vier a transgredir, castigá-lo-ei com varas de homens e com açoites de filhos de homens.
15 »I will never put an end to my agreement with him. I put an end to my agreement with Saul when he was king before you.
15 Mas a minha misericórdia se não apartará dele, como a retirei de Saul, a quem tirei de diante de ti.
16 »I will make sure that one of your descendants will be king for a very long time. Your throne will be established from generation to generation.«
16 Porém a tua casa e o teu reino serão firmados para sempre diante de ti; teu trono será estabelecido para sempre.
17 Nathan told David exactly what he heard in the vision.
17 Segundo todas estas palavras e conforme toda esta visão, assim falou Natã a Davi.
18 David went into the tent he set up for the ark. Then he sat there and prayed: »Jehovah All-Powerful, my family and I do not deserve what you have already done for us.
18 Então, entrou o rei Davi na Casa do Senhor , ficou perante ele e disse: Quem sou eu, Senhor Deus, e qual é a minha casa, para que me tenhas trazido até aqui?
19 »Yet this was insignificant in your eyes, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah for you have spoken also of your servants house in the distant future. And this is the law for man, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
19 Foi isso ainda pouco aos teus olhos, Senhor Deus, de maneira que também falaste a respeito da casa de teu servo para tempos distantes; e isto é instrução para todos os homens, ó Senhor Deus.
20 »What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
20 Que mais ainda te poderá dizer Davi? Pois tu conheces bem a teu servo, ó Senhor Deus.
21 »For the sake of your Word and according to your will you have done this great thing. You have made it known to your servant!
21 Por causa da tua palavra e segundo o teu coração, fizeste toda esta grandeza, dando-a a conhecer a teu servo.
22 »For this reason you are great, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah. There is none like you. There is no God besides you according to all that we have heard with our ears.
22 Portanto, grandíssimo és, ó Senhor Deus, porque não há semelhante a ti, e não há outro Deus além de ti, segundo tudo o que nós mesmos temos ouvido.
23 »There is no other nation on earth like Israel. This is the nation you rescued from slavery in Egypt to be your own. You became famous by using great and wonderful miracles to force other nations and their gods out of your land, so your people could live here.
23 Quem há como o teu povo, como Israel, gente única na terra, a quem tu, ó Deus, foste resgatar para ser teu povo? E para fazer a ti mesmo um nome e fazer a teu povo estas grandes e tremendas coisas, para a tua terra, diante do teu povo, que tu resgataste do Egito, desterrando as nações e seus deuses?
24 »You chose Israel to be your people from generation to generation! You have become their God.
24 Estabeleceste teu povo Israel por teu povo para sempre e tu, ó Senhor , te fizeste o seu Deus.
25 »And now, Jehovah God, please do what you have promised.
25 Agora, pois, ó Senhor Deus, quanto a esta palavra que disseste acerca de teu servo e acerca da sua casa, confirma-a para sempre e faze como falaste.
26 »You will be famous for a very long time! Everyone will say: »Jehovah of Hosts rules Israel. Davids descendants are his chosen kings.
26 Seja para sempre engrandecido o teu nome, e diga-se: O Senhor dos Exércitos é Deus sobre Israel; e a casa de Davi, teu servo, será estabelecida diante de ti.
27 »Now therefore, may it please you to bless the house of your servant that it may continue a long time before you. You O Lord Jehovah have spoken. May the house of your servant be blessed from generation to generation.
27 Pois tu, ó Senhor dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel, fizeste ao teu servo esta revelação, dizendo: Edificar-te-ei casa. Por isso, o teu servo se animou para fazer-te esta oração.
28 »Lord Jehovah, you are God. You have promised me some very good things, and you can be trusted to do what you promise.
28 Agora, pois, ó Senhor Deus, tu mesmo és Deus, e as tuas palavras são verdade, e tens prometido a teu servo este bem.
29 »Please bless my descendants and let them be your chosen kings for a very long time. You have already promised, and I am sure that you will bless my family from generation to generation.«
29 Sê, pois, agora, servido de abençoar a casa do teu servo, a fim de permanecer para sempre diante de ti, pois tu, ó Senhor Deus, o disseste; e, com a tua bênção, será, para sempre, bendita a casa do teu servo.
