1 Pedro 2
Itájto̱l toTe̱ko ipan melaꞌtájto̱l (NHX) vs VC
1 Xikajte̱wáka̱nya iga ankichi̱waj nochi yej ajaye̱kti, ayoꞌ xitakajkaya̱waka̱n, amo san ximopajpanti̱ka̱n iga anye̱ꞌnemij, amo xita‑i̱xitaka̱n iwá̱n amo xitapo̱powaka̱n.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Ximochi̱waka̱n ken seliꞌko̱kone̱ꞌ yej a̱tanekij iga kinektokej chi̱chiwala̱ꞌ, iwá̱n ino̱nwaꞌ chi̱chiwala̱ꞌ kijto̱jneki itájto̱l Dios yej pox ye̱kti iwá̱n te̱pale̱wiá iga wel má̱j matimoconfia̱ro̱ka̱n ipan yéj iwá̱n wel te̱salva̱rowa.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Amejeme̱n ankimátija iga toTe̱ko poxsan te‑ikne̱liá.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Inó̱n iga xikna̱ꞌtecho̱ka̱n toTe̱ko Jesucristo, yéjwaꞌ ken tikita se̱ teꞌti yej isatoꞌ, yej la gente kitajkalkej, eꞌ inó̱n teꞌti Dios kitapejpen iwá̱n poxsan vale̱rowa.
4 — ausente —
5 Amejeme̱n no̱ ken antemej yej isatokej, iwá̱n iga ino̱mej teꞌti Dios nemi kichi̱wa tio̱pan ka̱n onos iyEspí̱ritoj, iwá̱n amejeme̱n ansacerdo̱tejmej yej ankichi̱waj ken kineki Dios, iwá̱n Jesucristo mitzpale̱wiáj iga ankimakaj iyofre̱ndaj Dios yej poxsan kiye̱ꞌita.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 No̱ ijkí̱n ijkuilijtoꞌ itájto̱l Dios:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Iga amejeme̱n yej ankicre̱dowaj, inó̱n teꞌti poxsan vale̱rowa, eꞌ iga ino̱mej yej ayá̱ꞌ kicre̱dowaj, mocumpli̱rowa ka̱n ijkuilijtoꞌ pan itájto̱l Dios:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 No̱ mochij yej ijkí̱n ijkuilijtoꞌ:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Eꞌ amejeme̱n gente yej Dios mitztapejpenkej, ansacerdo̱tejmej yej antekipanowaj iga yéj. Amejeme̱n gente yej anye̱ꞌnemij iyi̱xtaj, iwá̱n mitzno̱tzkej iga xikpowaka̱n yej Dios kichij yej ayagaj má̱j wel kichi̱wa. Dios mitzki̱xtijkej ka̱n ankichijtoyaj yej aye̱kti iga iná̱n xikchi̱waka̱n yej ye̱kti ken yéj kineki.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Ikya amejeme̱n ayéj te̱ amoteki iyi̱xtaj Dios, eꞌ iná̱n amejeme̱n gente yej itátkiya Dios. Ikya ayagaj mitzikne̱lia̱yaj, eꞌ iná̱n mitzikne̱liaja Dios.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Nokni̱wa̱n yej nimitzpoxcho̱kiliáj, yej ken anwejkacha̱nejkej iwá̱n yej ken ampanówajsan pan iní̱n ta̱jli, nimitztajtaniliáj iga amo xikchi̱waka̱n yej aye̱kti yej mitzyo̱ltila̱naj, wa̱n amo xikchi̱waka̱n yej ayá̱ꞌ mitzpale̱wiáj iga ankitokaj iyojwi toTe̱ko.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Xiye̱ꞌnemika̱n iyi̱xtaj yej ayá̱ꞌ kicre̱dowaj Dios. Ijkó̱n yejemej, malej iga amejeme̱n mitzijliáj iga ankichi̱waj yej aye̱kti, yejeme̱n kitaskej iga ankichi̱waj yej ye̱kti iwá̱n kiweyimati̱lti̱skej Dios kua̱ꞌ yéj wi̱ꞌ tajuzga̱ro̱ki.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Iga ankitokaj toTe̱ko, xiktajto̱lkakika̱n yej manda̱rowaj ipan iní̱n ta̱jli: ken el rey César iga yéj má̱j manda̱rowa,
13 — ausente —
14 iwá̱n gobernado̱rmej iga kiti̱tani el rey iga makicastiga̱ro̱ka̱n yej kichi̱waj yej aye̱kti iwá̱n maye̱ꞌtajto̱ka̱n iga yej kichijtokej yej ye̱kti.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Porque Dios kineki iga amejemej xikchi̱waka̱n yej ye̱kti iga ayꞌya mamitzpo̱powaka̱n ino̱mej yej xejxe̱toꞌnemij yej aki̱xmatij itájto̱l toTe̱ko.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Xinemika̱n ken yej wel ankichi̱waj ken ankinekij iga ayagaj mitzpiáj ken esclavo, eꞌ malej iga wel ankichi̱waj ken ankinekij, amo iga ino̱nya xikchi̱waka̱n yej aye̱kti. Xinemika̱n ken iyescla̱vojmej Dios iga ankichi̱waj ken yéj kineki.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Xitarrespeta̱ro̱ka̱n, xikcho̱kili̱ka̱n tokni̱wa̱n, xikmajmawili̱ka̱n Dios iwá̱n xik‑respeta̱ro̱ka̱n rey César.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Amejeme̱n yej an‑escla̱vojmej, xikchi̱waka̱n ken mitztekimakaj amote̱komej. Siga te‑ijikni̱mej o malej ayá̱ꞌ o siga mitzikno̱chi̱waj.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Dios mitzye̱ꞌitaj siga ankijyo̱wiáj malej iga amote̱komej mitzyokacastiga̱rowaj iga ankichi̱waj ken Dios kineki.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Eꞌ siga mitzikno̱chi̱waj iga ankichi̱waj yej aye̱kti, ayꞌya agaj wel kijtowa iga mitzyoka‑ikno̱chi̱waj; eꞌ siga ankichi̱waj yej ye̱kti iwá̱n mitzikno̱chi̱waj iwá̱n ankijyo̱wiáj, Dios kiye̱ꞌita.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Iga inó̱n nokta mitztapejpenkej Dios; iga Cristo no̱ kikno̱chijkej iga totechko, inó̱n iga matikchi̱waka̱n ken yéj kichij.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Cristo ayí̱ꞌ kichij yej aye̱kti iwá̱n ayí̱ꞌ takajkayaj.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Kua̱ꞌ kuajkuantas yej ajaye̱kti kijlia̱yaj, Cristo ayá̱ꞌ tate̱nkuepilia̱ya iwá̱n kua̱ꞌ kimagakej, yéj ayá̱ꞌ moma̱kuepaꞌ sino que kisenta̱lia̱ya iya̱lmaj pan Dios yej taye̱ꞌjuzga̱rowa.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Cristo miguiꞌ ipan cruz iga totechko, iga iná̱n tejemej matikajte̱waka̱n iga tikchijtokej yej aye̱kti, iwá̱n welja matiye̱ꞌnemika̱n. Cristo kimagakej este pox eski̱saꞌ, iga amejeme̱n xi‑achitiaka̱n.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Porque ikya amejeme̱n ken tikita anborre̱gojmej yej pojpolijtinemiáj, eꞌ iná̱n ayoꞌ ampojpolijtinemij iga ankitókaja Cristo yej nochipa mitzcuida̱rowaj.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
