Lilaghanu lya shonu (NDJ) vs VC
1 Yesu adetili nawu kandi kwa chilangushilu,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Wutwa wa kumbindi kwa Chapanga wifwana na Mutwa yamtandili mwana waki mlumi lihungu lya kuheta.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Topi, kavakema Vandumindumi vaki kavalayisha, mukavalaliki vandu vayisi muhalusi, lakini yivalalikiwili valema kwisa.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Kavalayisha kandi Vandumindumi vamonga, kadeta, mukavawombeli vala vandivalalikili. ‘Lihungu lyangu liva kala, senga wangu yanunili kasinjiwa kala, kila chindu chiva kala, mwisi kulihungu!’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Lakini veni vatinuka ha, vayenda, yumu kuchitava chaki na wingi kayenda kufichuku fyaki,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 na vamonga vavakamula vala Vandumindumi vavajowola na kuvawulagha.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Yula mutwa kakalala, kavalayila vamachonda vaki vakavamalili vala vavawulayili vayawu na kubohola mbwani yawu.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Pambeli kavawombela Vandumindumi vaki, ‘Lihungu liva kala, lakini valalikiwa vangajila kulatiwa.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Topi, muyendi kunjila mukavawombeli vandu vovosi vala, mukavayeghi vayisi kulihungu.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Vala Vandumindumi vawuka, vayenda kunjila, vavayegha vandu vosi, vawafu na vanofu. Mbaka nyumba ya vahenja yamemili,
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Mutwa payingilili kavalola vahenja, kamuwona mundu yumu yafwalili ng'odu yingwa ya lihungu.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Mutwa kamudasha, ‘Ghanja kwingila wuliwuli apa ngajila yingwa ya lihungu?’ Lakini mweni kayikala jii.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Topi, mutwa kavawombela vandumindumi vaki, ‘Mumuwopi mawulu na mawoku mukamuyasi panji muchisi, aku dalili na kugelujula minu,’”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu kamalilila kwa kudeta, “Valalikiwili vatangala, ila vadokwa yivashawuliwili.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Mafwalisayu vayenda, vawombana ndambu ya kumuwomesha Yesu kwa filongu fyaki.

16 Pambeli, vavalayisha Vandundami wawu pamu na Vandundami va lipinga lya Helodi vamudasha, “Muwula, tukumanya kucha yuwi kuva mundu wa nakaka na ukuwula nakaka deha ya Chapanga kwa ugoleki, ukumtila mundu yoyosi ha, kwanongwa ukomi wa mundu kwa yuwi chindu ha.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Ponopa wutuwombeli chiwihola, yiva nyanyi awu ng'odu kuhomba kodi kwa Mutwa wa Loma?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Lakini Yesu amanyili kala milandu yawu ya wafu, kavawombela, “Yumwi muvafyangu mbona mukunyesha?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Munangushi mbiya ya kuhombela kodi.”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Topi, Yesu kavadasha, “Wushu na lihundu ali lya ghani?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Vamuyangula, “Mutwa wa Loma.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Pavapikanishili naha vayikanganika, vamuleka, veni vayenda.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Lijuva lila, Masadukayu vamu vadeta, yivasovili vakushukuka ng'odu. Vamu vamwisila Yesu vamuwombela,

24 “Muwula, Musa adetili mdala pasova mbendi, yula ngalimlyangu ahaliwi na mlongumundu, ili amuleleli vana mlongumundu.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Topi, pavelili na valongu saba. Soli ahetili pambeli kasova mbendi, kahaliwa kandi na mlongu wingi.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Yiva wuwowu hata kwa mlongu wingi wa tatu, mbaka mlongu wa saba.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Pavasovili valongu vosi na yula ngalimlyangu asovili wuwowu.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ponopa lijuva pavashukuka vala yivasovili daghavi mdala wa ghani? Kwa vala valumi saba yivasovili? Kwa nongwa vosi saba vamutolili.”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yesu kavayangula, “Yumwi muvifya kwanongwa mumanya ha Mayandiku Vang'alili wala liwovi lya Chapanga.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Nongwa yivasovili pavashukuka davaheti ha wala kuhetiwa, davavi kucha Makungu wa Chapanga.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Lakini kwilata kushukuka yivasovili, wuli, musoma ng'odu fila fyavawombilili Chapanga?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 Chapanga kadeta, ‘Nenga ndiva Chapanga wa Ibulahimu na Chapanga wa Isaka na Chapanga wa Yakobi!’ Topi mweni Chapanga wa yivasovili ha ila ndi Chapanga wa yivaveli vanofu.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Lila lipinga lya vandu pavapikanishili naha liyikang'anika ng'ulilu yaki.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Muyawu yumu aveli mundu wa Malawu, ayeshili kumdasha Yesu kwa kumuyesha.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 Amudashili, “Muwula, amuli liki yiveli ngomi munu pitu shosi mumalawu?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yesu kavayangula, “Mtami Bambu Chapanga waku kwa ndima yaku yosi na kwa fuki yaku na kwa luhala lwaku losi:
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Ali ndi lilawu likomi na lyakwaa.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Ya pili yikwifwana na ayi, ‘Mtami mjofi waku kucha witama umweni.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Malawu vosi va Musa na mayandiku va vambuyi va Chapanga vakwiyidumbila Malawu mavili ava.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Mafwalisayu pavayikungili pamu, Yesu avadashili,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Yumwi mukuwona wuliwuli chilongu achi chimwilata Kilistu Mkombola? Wuli, kava mwana wa lukolu liki?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yesu kavawombela, “Topi, yikuva wuliwuli kucha kwa liwovi lya Mfuki Mng'alili Dawudi akumkema mweni Bambu? Kwa nongwa adetili.
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Bambu amuwombilili Bambu wangu,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Topi, leki Dawudi akumkema Mkombola Bambu, yikuva wuliwuli Mkombola ghavi mwana wa Dawudi?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Kwa hela mundu yoyosi yaweshili kumuyangula chilongu. Na kukandila lijuva lililalila kwa hela yagelili kumudasha chindu.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
