1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Fe̱yɛ ane̱ŋ ne̱ ŋyaagyi po̱pwɛɛ e̱ kpa ke̱nyapo̱ timaa‑o, mo̱ne̱ gbaa mo̱nꞌ taa abware̱se̱ŋ bo̱ kii mo̱ne̱ ateese, na mo̱nꞌ nya daŋ fe̱yɛ ase̱sɛ ne̱ Wuribware̱ a mo̱rɔwe̱‑ɔ.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Abware̱se̱ŋ wo̱re̱‑ɔ yɛ, “Fo̱ ya taa fo̱ e̱ye̱e̱ sa mò̱, fo̱ i nu kɔne̱ fɛɛ.” Mo̱ e̱ kɔɔre̱ a n gyi fe̱yɛ ane̱ŋ ne̱ mo̱ne̱ du‑o.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Mo̱nꞌ ba ane̱ nyaŋpe̱ Yeesuu ase̱. Mò̱ e̱ gye̱ mò̱ ne̱ Wuribware̱ e̱ te̱e̱ ɛ, “Ke̱fo̱re̱ ne̱ ke̱ de ŋkpa‑ɔ.” Ase̱sɛ a kine mò̱ tɔwe̱ fe̱yɛ ɔ mo̱ŋ de ke̱tɔ waasɛ timaa ko̱. Amaa ne̱ Wuribware̱ fe̱raa a lee mò̱ tɔwe̱ fe̱yɛ o de to̱nɔ sa mò̱.

Ane̱ŋ a ko̱lɔŋŋɔ‑ɔ e̱ pre̱ mò̱.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Fe̱yɛ ane̱ŋ ne̱ baa kyo̱rɛɛ waa abware̱se̱ŋ wo̱re̱‑ɔ‑rɔ‑ɔ,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Mbe̱yɔmɔ, ane̱ŋ a ke̱fo̱re̱ mɔ gye̱ atɔ mumwii mo̱ne̱ ne̱ mo̱ne̱ gye̱ akɔɔre̱gyipo̱‑ɔ ase̱, a le̱e̱ fe̱yɛ a gye̱ Kristoo kuŋu si ase̱ŋ ne̱ ɔ tɔwe̱‑ɔ. Amaa bamo̱ ne̱ bo̱ maa kɔɔre̱ Kristoo ba gyi‑o nu fe̱yɛ,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ne̱ baa be̱e̱ kyo̱rɛɛ fe̱yɛ,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Amaa mo̱ne̱ fe̱raa, mo̱ne̱ gye̱ ase̱sɛ ne̱ Wuribware̱ a lee sa mò̱ e̱ye̱e̱‑ɔ ne̱e̱. Mo̱ne̱ gye̱ alɔŋŋɔpo̱ ne̱ mo̱ne̱ i suŋ ane̱ owure Wuribware̱. Mo̱ne̱ kusuŋ e̱ gye̱ fe̱yɛ mo̱nꞌ tɔwe̱ Wuribware̱ ne̱ oo lee mo̱ne̱ le̱e̱ kibugyii‑ro baa bo̱ kye̱na mò̱ ke̱laŋŋe̱rɔ‑rɔ‑ɔ a asuŋ dabe̱‑ɔ gywii bo̱ko̱.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Saŋ‑ɔ mo̱ne̱ mo̱ŋ gye̱ Wuribware̱ ase̱sɛ, amaa mbe̱yɔmɔ fe̱raa, mo̱ne̱ gye̱ mò̱ lee. Ane̱ŋ dɛɛ ne̱ saŋ‑ɔ mo̱ne̱ dɛɛ mo̱ne̱ mo̱ŋ nyi ane̱ŋ ne̱ Wuribware̱ i ŋu ase̱sɛ e̱wɛɛ‑ɔ, amaa mbe̱yɔmɔ fe̱raa, mo̱ne̱ a ŋu fe̱yɛ Wuribware̱ a ŋu mo̱ne̱ e̱wɛɛ.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Mo̱ anyare̱ timaa, mo̱ e̱ ko̱re̱ mo̱ne̱ ne̱e̱ fe̱yɛ mo̱nꞌ ŋu fe̱yɛ mo̱ne̱ gye̱ afɔ ne̱e̱, ne̱ mo̱ne̱ a ba kaye̱ mɔ‑rɔ mo̱ne̱ te. Amo̱se̱ se̱‑ɔ mo̱ne̱ ma kaŋ sa a mfɛɛre̱ bɔye̱ ne̱ m bo̱ mo̱ne̱ ŋkpo̱nɔ‑rɔ‑ɔ, ne̱ ŋ kpa a ŋ nye̱ra mo̱ne̱ e̱kra‑ɔ kɔ gyi mo̱ne̱ se̱.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Mo̱nꞌ sa a mo̱ne̱ atɔ waasɛ ke̱maa waa daŋ mo̱ne̱ aa bamo̱ ne̱ bo̱ maa suŋ Wuribware̱‑ɔ mbo̱ŋtɔ‑rɔ, na bo̱ ma taare̱ po̱rɔ mo̱ne̱ fe̱yɛ mo̱ne̱ gye̱ e̱bɔye̱ awaapo̱, amaa bo̱ ŋu mo̱ne̱ atɔ waasɛ timaa‑o, na bo̱ ye̱re̱ amo̱ se̱ kyo̱rɔ Wuribware̱ kake nsi amo̱ ne̱ ɔ ba‑ɔ.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Amo̱se̱ se̱ ne̱ ane̱ nyaŋpe̱ se̱, mo̱nꞌ bu se̱sɛ ke̱maa ne̱ baa sa mò̱ ke̱yaale̱ŋ‑ɔ hare̱e̱ owure dabe̱ ne̱ ɔ kyɔ ɔke̱maa‑ɔ ne̱e̱ ooo,

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 A gye̱ Wuribware̱ ke̱kpa ne̱e̱ fe̱yɛ mo̱ne̱ itimaa ko̱waa‑ɔ duŋ bamo̱ ne̱ bo̱ maa sa se̱ŋsa kanyiase̱ŋ‑nɔ‑ɔ nnɔ.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Mo̱nꞌ kye̱na fe̱yɛ agyi‑o, na saŋ ko̱ŋko̱ amo̱‑rɔ dɛɛ mo̱ne̱ te fe̱yɛ Wuribware̱ anya‑ɔ. Amo̱se̱ se̱‑ɔ mo̱ne̱ ma kaŋ tɔwe̱ fe̱yɛ mo̱ne̱ a gye̱ agyi‑o si, mo̱ne̱ de kpa fe̱yɛ mo̱nꞌ waa bɔye̱.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Mo̱nꞌ bu atɔ. Mo̱nꞌ kpa mo̱ne̱ abɛɛko̱ akɔɔre̱gyipo̱‑ana pɛɛɛ ase̱ŋ. Mo̱nꞌ se̱re̱ Wuribware̱, na mo̱nꞌ bu owure dabe̱‑ɔ.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Mo̱ne̱ ne̱ mo̱ne̱ gye̱ anya bɛɛɛ ayaafɔre̱‑ɔ, mo̱nꞌ se̱re̱ mo̱ne̱ nyaŋpe̱‑ana, na mo̱nꞌ bu bamo̱ nɛɛnɛɛ. N gye̱ anyaŋpe̱ ne̱ bo̱ bware, ne̱ bo̱ gye̱ ase̱sɛ timaa‑o wo̱re̱, amaa bamo̱ ne̱ bamo̱ ase̱ŋ bo̱ le̱ŋ, ne̱ bo̱ de ase̱ŋ bɔye̱ na daa bɔye̱‑ɔ pɛɛɛ mɔ ane̱ŋ dɛɛ ne̱ mo̱nꞌ bu bamo̱.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Fo̱ nyaŋpe̱ ya gyiiri fo̱ ke̱se̱bɔ, na fo̱ mo̱ŋ ŋu bɔye̱ ko̱ ne̱ fo̱ a waa‑ɔ, amo̱ fe̱raa sa a fo̱ mfɛɛre̱ yɔ Wuribware̱ ase̱, mò̱ e̱ gye̱ ne̱ ɔ kyo̱rɔ fo̱.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Fo̱ nyaŋpe̱ ya da fo̱ bo̱ le̱e̱ bɔye̱ ne̱ fo̱ a waa‑ɔ se̱, ne̱ fo̱ a nya ke̱mo̱ kanyite, e̱me̱ne̱ ne̱ fo̱ e̱ waa na fo̱ nya fo̱ kanyite‑o nkyo̱rɔ? Amaa fo̱ ya waa itimaa, ne̱ mò̱ ya da fo̱, ne̱ fo̱ ya nya kanyite, Wuribware̱ e̱ gye̱ ne̱ ɔ kyo̱rɔ fo̱.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 A le̱e̱ fe̱yɛ ane̱ŋ a kakye̱na mɔ se̱ ne̱ ɔɔ te̱e̱ mo̱ne̱ fe̱yɛ mo̱nꞌ bo̱ ŋu ase̱ŋ. Mo̱nꞌ ke̱e̱ ane̱ŋ ne̱ Kristoo a gyi awo̱re̱fɔɔ sa mo̱ne̱‑ɔ, ne̱ ɔ kaapo̱ mo̱ne̱ awo̱re̱fɔɔ suyo ne̱ oo gyi‑o, na mo̱nꞌ ye̱re̱ mò̱ ayaa‑rɔ gyi amo̱ ane̱ŋ dɛɛ.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Fe̱yɛ ane̱ŋ ne̱ baa kyo̱rɛɛ bo̱ le̱e̱ Yeesuu kuŋu si abware̱se̱ŋ wo̱re̱‑ɔ‑rɔ‑ɔ,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Bamo̱ a saare̱ mò̱‑ɔ, mò̱ fe̱raa mo̱ŋ saare̱ bamo̱ bo̱ teere. Bamo̱ a waa mò̱ awo̱re̱fɔɔ‑ɔ, ɔ mo̱ŋ tɔwe̱ gywii bamo̱ fe̱yɛ ɔ waa bamo̱ awo̱re̱fɔɔ a ɔ bo̱ teere. Amaa ɔɔ taa mò̱ ase̱ŋ waa Wuribware̱ ne̱ o gyi ase̱ŋ pɛɛɛ nɛɛnɛɛ‑ɔ asare̱e̱‑rɔ ne̱e̱.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Yeesuu fɔŋfɔŋ a so̱rɔ ane̱ e̱bɔye̱ saŋ ne̱ oo wu kiyii kpare̱-abɛɛ‑rɔ se̱‑ɔ, na e̱bɔye̱ ko̱waa ma lɛɛ waa ane̱ kɔne̱, na wɔre̱ nya ane̱ itimaa ko̱waa‑rɔ. Fe̱yɛ ane̱ŋ ne̱ baa be̱e̱ kyo̱rɛɛ waa abware̱se̱ŋ wo̱re̱‑ɔ‑rɔ‑ɔ,
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Mo̱ne̱ du ne̱e̱ fe̱yɛ e̱sanne̱ ne̱ baa fo̱‑ɔ,”
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
