1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:

2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Wana totuwalali i patunal hi na gamagalau bolo i awanunil elal wali wasa hi pek nihi nem hagali elana, yaa gamagalau o hi towa.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Inoke wana totuwalali enuna al i patunal i ba, ‘Bolo ya awanunil hagali kaiwena wali wasa nuku pek aanan iyaka ya lovivina-an. Nuku ba: Bulumakau momomonel iyaka ha punel ge bugul gegewena iyaka ha lovivina-agil. Ku nem ya hagali elana.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “Yaa heliya nige yayaluwaliya i nonoek, inoke etegana i na wana eyowaa, etegana i na wana sitowaa,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ge enuna totuwalali hi libil, hi nibihil ge hi tagapaaligal.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 “Inoke i ba wana totuwalali elal, ‘Alolon ana hagali iyaka ya lovivina-an, yaa bolo ya awanunil hi sigasiga ge nige hi nenem.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ku na kamwasa lala elana. Ebo henalau nuku pwawal, nuku ba nihi nem hagali elana.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Inoke totuwalali hi nok hi na kamwasa elal ge gamagalau gegewel bolo hi pwawal, waiwaisal ge nanakil, hi ahel hi pwatanim, yaka hagali limena i kalaopop.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Sauga kin i ulutuk hagali limena elana ge gamagalau i kitel, yaka tau etega i kite pwawa alolon hagalena kalikona nige i gagaloi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 I neli i ba, ‘Heliyam, ga i ola u nem u tuk ge nige alolon hagalena kalikona u gagaloi?’ Yaa tau o nige kin anana i lalahe.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Inoke kin i baek wana totuwalali elal i ba, ‘Nimana ge aena ku gimwan ge nuku alitagil-an gogouwa, ni kahikahin ge ninina ni alavekilal.’”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Inoke Yeisu i ba, “Hi gewi Yehoba i yogaagil, yaa ehila ya te i hilel.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Inoke Palisi Yeisu hi eguluwai hi na hi nuwatu loyaloya ga nihi ginol ola ge Yeisu nihi paona ge wana baaba eliyana ana woliwoli nihi ginol.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Inoke nu ba naha hago. Mosese i ba mani naha pek Yehoba elana. He wam nuwatu ga i ola? I waisi ya takis naha pwamola Sisa elana o age bahiwa?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Yeisu wali nuwatu nanakina iyaka i atena, inoke i baek elal i ba, “Tokakakawi hot komiu! Hauna kaiwena ku laboseyau tage nuku paonau?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Mani etega ku pankiteyau, toto tage takis ku pwapwamolaya.”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Anana hi lahe hi ba, “Sisa.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Wana baaba ya hi hago inoke nuwaliya hi ahe, yaka Yeisu hi eguluwai ge hi egon.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Lan toto o elana, Sadiusi hi nem Yeisu elana. He Sadiusi nige wali abulilek i oola tage toyaomal nihi lut, inoke Yeisu hi neli hi ba,

24 “Topankite, Mosese i ba ebo tau etega ni alolon, nige natunau ge ni aliga, inoke abuabulina talina ni alolonan ge ebo natuliyau ni gan, heliya nihi tabwa tau toto i alaliga natunau.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Sauga etega tau etega alonau talinau, ali toto seben. Gamaun i alolon, nige natunau, yaka i aliga, inoke abuabulina talina i alolonan.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Pagan o maisena i gan al loena elana, i ola al etonina, ge i ola al ana siga gegewel hi pwawa.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Inoke mowamowasena, abwe yova al i aliga.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ebo tunahot toyaomal abwe nihi lut, he lut enaa ali toto seben gamwaliyaa henala ge yova o lagona hot? Kaiwena gegewel hi alolonan ga.”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yeisu analiya i lahe i ba, “Komiu ku gegi hot, kaiwena Buki Bwabwalena ana baaba ge Yehoba wana gasisi nige ku aatena.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se

35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:

36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Anana Yeisu i lahe i ba, “‘Yehoba wam Yabowaine nu nunuwana-an ginebi ge atem bwalibwaligena, yawalim bwalibwaligena ge wam nuwatu bwalibwaligena.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.

40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 He Palisi iyoho Yeisu hi mimipainan, inoke i nelil i ba,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Ga ku nuwatu ola Mesaiya kaiwena? Henala tubuna iya?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Inoke Yeisu i nelil al i ba, “He ga i ola ge Deibid i baaba Yayaluwa Bwabwalena wana nuwatu elana ge Mesaiya i awa babala-an? Kaiwena Deibid i ba,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Yehoba i baek no Babala elana i ba:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 He Deibid Mesaiya i awa babala-an, inoke ga i ola ge tage iya Deibid tubuna?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Nige etega bosowailiya Yeisu anana nihi lahe, inoke nige sauga etega al bosowailiya nihi labose ge nel etega nihi neli Yeisu elana.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
