¹ The Lord reigneth; people tremble: he sitteth enthroned over the cherubim; the earth is moved.

¹ O SENHOR reina; tremam os povos. Ele está assentado entre os querubins; comova-se a terra.

² The Lord is great in Zion; and he is exalted above all the people.

² O Senhor é grande em Sião, e mais alto do que todos os povos.

³ They will give thanks to thy name, great, and terrible, and holy it is.

³ Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo, pois é santo.

⁴ And to the power of the king who loveth justice and righteousness hast thou truly executed in Jacob.

⁴ Também o poder do Rei ama o juízo; tu firmas a eqüidade, fazes juízo e justiça em Jacó.

⁵ Exalt ye the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his footstool: he is holy.

⁵ Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos diante do escabelo de seus pés, pois é santo.

⁶ Moses and Aaron were among his priests, and Samuel among those that call on his name; they called on the Lord, and he answered them.

⁶ Moisés e Arão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que invocam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e Ele lhes respondia.

⁷ In the pillar of cloud he used to speak unto them: they kept his testimonies, and the statutes which he had given unto them.

⁷ Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava; eles guardaram os seus testemunhos, e os estatutos que lhes dera.

⁸ O Lord, our God, thou didst answer them: thou wast a forgiving God unto them, yet also an avenger for their wrong doings.

⁸ Tu os escutaste, Senhor nosso Deus: tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoaste, ainda que tomaste vingança dos seus feitos.

⁹ Exalt the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his holy mount; for holy is the Lord our God.

⁹ Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus e adorai-o no seu monte santo, pois o Senhor nosso Deus é santo.
