1 Oh sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the lands.
1 Cantem ao S enhor um cântico novo! Toda a terra cante ao S
2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name: announce from day to day his salvation.
2 Cantem ao S enhor e louvem o seu nome; proclamem todos os dias a sua salvação.
3 Relate among the nations his honor, among all the people his wonders.
3 Anunciem a sua glória entre as nações, contem a todos as suas maravilhas.
4 For the Lord is great, and greatly praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
4 Grande é o S enhor ! Digno de muito louvor! Ele é mais temível que todos os deuses.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols; but the Lord hath made the heavens.
5 Os deuses de outros povos não passam de ídolos, mas o S
6 Glory and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
6 Glória e majestade o cercam, força e beleza enchem seu santuário.
7 Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye families of the people, ascribe unto the Lord honor and strength.
7 Ó nações do mundo, reconheçam o S enhor ; reconheçam que o S
8 Ascribe unto the Lord the honor due unto his name: bear hither a present, and come unto his courts.
8 Deem ao S enhor a glória que seu nome merece, tragam ofertas e entrem em seus pátios.
9 Bow down unto the Lord in the beauty of holiness: tremble before him, all ye lands.
9 Adorem o S enhor em todo o seu santo esplendor; toda a terra trema diante dele.
10 Say among the nations, "The Lord reigneth;" therefore also the world is ever firmly established that it shall hot be moved: he will judge the people in equity.
10 Digam entre as nações: “O S enhor reina!”; ele firmou o mundo para que não seja abalado e com imparcialidade julgará todos os povos.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad: let the sea roar, with all that filleth it.
11 Alegrem-se os céus e exulte a terra! Deem louvor o mar e tudo que nele há!
12 Let the field exult, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy,
12 Os campos e suas colheitas gritem de alegria! As árvores do bosque exultem
13 Before the Lord; for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and people in his truth.
13 diante do S enhor , pois ele vem; ele vem julgar a terra. Julgará o mundo com justiça e as nações, com sua verdade.
