Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs NVT
1 To the chief musician, by David. The worthless fool saith in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they are abominable in their doings, there is none that doth good.
1 Os tolos dizem em seu coração: “Não há Deus”. São corruptos e praticam o mal; nenhum deles faz o bem.
2 The Lord looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be one intelligent, one who seeketh for God.
2 O S enhor olha dos céus para toda a humanidade, para ver se alguém é sábio, se alguém busca a Deus.
3 They are all gone aside, they are altogether become corrupt: there is none that doth good, no, not even one.
3 Todos, porém, se desviaram; todos se corromperam. Ninguém faz o bem, nem um sequer!
4 Is there no knowledge in all the workers of wickedness? who eat up my people as they eat bread; while they do not call on the Lord.

5 There are they terrified in terror; for God is with the righteous generation:
5 Grande terror se apoderará deles, pois Deus está com os que lhe obedecem.
6 The counsel of the poor though you put to shame; because the Lord is his protection.
6 Os perversos frustram os planos dos oprimidos, mas o S
7 Oh that some one might bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion! When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, then will Jacob be glad, and Israel will rejoice.
7 Quem virá do monte Sião para salvar Israel? Quando o S Jacó dará gritos de alegria, e Israel exultará.
