Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs ARIB
1 To the chief musician, by David. The worthless fool saith in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they are abominable in their doings, there is none that doth good.
1 Diz o néscio no seu coração: Não há Deus. Os homens têm-se corrompido, fazem-se abomináveis em suas obras; não há quem faça o bem.
2 The Lord looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be one intelligent, one who seeketh for God.
2 O Senhor olhou do céu para os filhos dos homens, para ver se havia algum que tivesse entendimento, que buscasse a Deus.
3 They are all gone aside, they are altogether become corrupt: there is none that doth good, no, not even one.
3 Desviaram-se todos e juntamente se fizeram imundos; não há quem faça o bem, não há sequer um.
4 Is there no knowledge in all the workers of wickedness? who eat up my people as they eat bread; while they do not call on the Lord.
4 Acaso não tem conhecimento nem sequer um dos que praticam a iniqüidade, que comem o meu povo como se comessem pão, e que não invocam o Senhor?
5 There are they terrified in terror; for God is with the righteous generation:
5 Achar-se-ão ali em grande pavor, porque Deus está na geração dos justos.
6 The counsel of the poor though you put to shame; because the Lord is his protection.
6 Vós quereis frustar o conselho dos pobres, mas o Senhor é o seu refúgio.
7 Oh that some one might bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion! When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, then will Jacob be glad, and Israel will rejoice.
7 Oxalá que de Sião viesse a salvação de Israel! Quando o Senhor fizer voltar os cativos do seu povo, então se regozijará Jacó e se alegrará Israel.
