Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs VC
1 A song of the degrees. Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion, which will not he moved, which endureth for ever.
1 Cântico das peregrinações. Os que confiam no Senhor são como o monte Sião, eternamente firme.
2 Jerusalem hath mountains round about her: and so is the Lord round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.
2 Como Jerusalém está toda cercada de montanhas, assim o Senhor envolve seu povo, agora e sempre.
3 For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: in order that the righteous may not stretch forth their hands unto wrongdoing.
3 Não permanecerá estendido o cetro dos ímpios sobre o destino dos justos, para que também estes não acabem por estender suas mãos ao crime.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto the good, and to those that are upright in their hearts.
4 Fazei bem, Senhor, aos que são bons, e aos homens de reto coração.
5 But as for those who turn aside unto their crooked ways, them will the Lord drive away with the workers of wickedness; but peace shall be upon Israel.
5 Mas aqueles que se desviam por caminhos tortuosos, que o Senhor os leve com os malfeitores. Paz para Israel!
