1 By David, a psalm. The Eternal saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I place thy enemies as a stool for thy feet.
1 Disse o Senhor ao meu senhor: “Sente-se à minha direita, até que eu ponha os seus inimigos por estrado dos seus pés.”
2 The staff of thy strength will the Eternal stretch forth out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.
2 O Senhor lhe enviará de Sião o cetro do poder, dizendo: “Domine entre os seus inimigos.”
3 Thy people will bring freewillgifts on the day of thy power, in the ornaments of holiness: as out of the bosom of the morningdawn so is thine the dew of thy youth.
3 O seu povo se apresentará voluntariamente, no dia em que você manifestar o seu poder; com santos ornamentos, como o orvalho do alvorecer, virão os seus jovens.
4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent of it, Thou shalt be a priest for ever after the order of Malkizedek.
4 O Senhor jurou e não voltará atrás: Você é sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
5 The Lord at thy right hand crusheth kings on the day of his wrath.
5 O Senhor, à sua direita, no dia em que se irar, esmagará os reis.
6 He will judge among the nationsthere shall be a fulness of corpseshe crusheth heads on a widespread land.
6 Ele julgará entre as nações, enchendo-as de cadáveres; esmagará cabeças por toda a terra.
7 From the brook will he drink on the way: therefore will he lift up the head.
7 No caminho, beberá água na torrente e passará de cabeça erguida.
