1 By David, a psalm. The Eternal saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I place thy enemies as a stool for thy feet.
1 Disse o Senhor ao meu Senhor: Assenta-te à minha mão direita, até que ponha os teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés.
2 The staff of thy strength will the Eternal stretch forth out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.
2 O Senhor enviará o cetro da tua fortaleza desde Sião, dizendo: Domina no meio dos teus inimigos.
3 Thy people will bring freewillgifts on the day of thy power, in the ornaments of holiness: as out of the bosom of the morningdawn so is thine the dew of thy youth.
3 O teu povo se apresentará voluntariamente no dia do teu poder, com santos ornamentos; como vindo do próprio seio da alva, será o orvalho da tua mocidade.
4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent of it, Thou shalt be a priest for ever after the order of Malkizedek.
4 Jurou o Senhor e não se arrependerá: Tu és um sacerdote eterno, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
5 The Lord at thy right hand crusheth kings on the day of his wrath.
5 O Senhor, à tua direita, ferirá os reis no dia da sua ira.
6 He will judge among the nationsthere shall be a fulness of corpseshe crusheth heads on a widespread land.
6 Julgará entre as nações; enchê-las-á de cadáveres; ferirá os cabeças de grandes terras.
7 From the brook will he drink on the way: therefore will he lift up the head.
7 Pelo caminho, dessedentar-se-á no ribeiro e prosseguirá de cabeça erguida.
