1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Dihi die̱ye bu nale̱ saga̱i̱ hiyedo degedi saga̱i̱ ke̱no͡u tefei, ni̱ne Godiha̱ ta̱ bolofe̱i̱ ke̱ dulo saga̱i̱ hiyedo degema. 2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Hiye O e̱ midiho̱ ke̱ dimoko͡u hehegieimo͡u ni̱ ko͡u dugulo i kaha̱ degemo͡u, ni̱ge Hiye O e̱me bolofe̱i̱yode tawale ili.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Ni̱ Hiye Oha̱ so͡u guedu ima. E̱me fi̱ ne̱di mouti bolo̱do, o kedia̱ sibige̱ mei baga ko͡u igile muguye, haba Godiha̱ makaibe, e̱me sibige̱ hiyedo dala.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Godiha̱ kuguoko͡u ne ko͡u gue nala̱i̱ dala,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Damale̱yodele i o sasa̱i̱ ni̱ dugulube mouti ke̱me bolo̱do, sibige̱ hiyedo. Damale̱yodili mei o sasa̱i̱ kedia̱ dugulube, ko͡u guei dugulo ili,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ko͡u guene ko͡u nala̱i̱ dala,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Ke̱no͡u si ni̱me Godiha̱ yo͟͡u e̱ o sasa̱i̱yodema ko͡u makai. Ni̱me e̱ mogo͡u du daladi hiye o debane, e̱ hu̱ti debane, e̱ soso͡u debane, ni̱me e̱ midiho̱ bolo̱do ke̱ omoko͡u hehegiemabadomo͡u makai. E̱ge ni̱me hulia̱ sako͡u dala ke̱ to͡u fogo͡u ba, hoho̱ bolofe̱i̱ koko͡u fogo͡u haguamabeedema haguisai.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Afu, ni̱me mo͡u yo͟͡uwa deleigueiye, ke̱no͡u si ifibe ni̱me Godiha̱ o sasa̱i̱ degei. Afuge, ni̱me Godiha̱ habaguguei midiho̱ ke̱ ta tawale ili meiye, haba ifisi Godiha̱ habagugueibe ni̱bo͡u de dala kehe̱.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ma̱ mogodo dia̱ma, ni̱me sa mei o saga̱i̱ kaha̱, a̱ egele tobo͡u ba ni̱ duma. Sa sibige̱ kuoko͡u midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱, ni̱ to͡u e tagali saga̱i̱ya ke̱ hobo͡u degedama. Midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ ni̱ fi̱bo͡u de biyadi ke̱ tobolo͡u.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Ni̱ Godiko͡u damale̱yodili mei o sasa̱i̱ kedia̱bo͡u de dalagualibe, midiho̱ do̱u̱do ke̱no͡u milo͡u gama. Kege degeibasi, ni̱ susuga tobolo͡u idi o kedia̱ ni̱ midiho̱ bolofe̱i̱ ke̱ duguoba, Godiha̱ di dugu haguale kelege, dia̱ Godiko͡u hoho̱bolo͡u ile.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Ni̱me Hiye O Kelesuko͡u damale̱yodei o sasa̱i̱ kaha̱ degemo͡u, ni̱ gamani o olo͡u fe̱i̱ kedia̱ ta̱ dulo sesema. Gamani o olo͡u fe̱i̱ die hiye o, e̱me hu̱ hiyedo, sa sibige̱ kuoko͡u o sasa̱i̱ di hu̱ olo͡u fe̱i̱ ke̱ gabama felei.
13 — ausente —
14 Gamani hiye o kaha̱ dabai degele idi o kedia̱ ta̱ne dulo sesema. Gamani hiye o kaha̱ge e̱ dabai degele idi o kedia̱ tobo͡u mo͡u ya, sa sa olo͡u fe̱i̱ kile midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ milolo͡u idi o kedia̱ egele womo͡u, haba midiho̱ bolo̱ degedi o kedia̱moko͡u be bolofe̱i̱yode tobo͡u mo͡u suluguamabeede tobou.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Godiha̱ge ni̱me midiho̱ bolofe̱i̱ ke̱no͡u milo͡u mabeedema tagali. Kege degeibasi, toto͡u degei o, ta̱eno͡u tobolo͡u idi kedia̱ ni̱ midiho̱ bolo̱ ke̱ duguoba, ni̱moko͡u susuga tobolo͡u idi midiho̱ ke̱ to͡u fogo͡u le ile.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Ni̱me hebe kasaga̱i̱ ta molo͟͡u meidade tawaleba suluguama. Ke̱no͡u si ni̱ kege tawaleba sulugualibe, midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ haba ta milo͡u gadama. Ni̱me Godiha̱ dabai degele idi o sasa̱i̱dade tawaleba suluguama.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 O sasa̱i̱ olo͡u fe̱i̱ kedia̱moko͡u midiho̱ bolo̱ ke̱no͡u hehegiema. Damale̱yodele i o sasa̱i̱ olo͡u fe̱i̱ kedia̱moko͡u ne solo͡u do degeba, Godiha̱ hayedu dalali, gamani hiye o e̱ hu̱ hebele foguma.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Dabai degedi o sasa̱i̱ dia̱ma, ni̱ bose dia̱ ta̱ ke̱ dulo sesema. A̱ge bose bolofe̱i̱ kedia̱ ta̱ ke̱no͡u sesemabadomo͡u tobo͡u yo mei. Bose ilo kelebe ko͡u midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ milo͡u ga idi oye, ke̱no͡u si ni̱ge die ta̱ ke̱ne dulo sesema.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Ni̱me Godiha̱ yo͟͡uno͡u dogo͡u guo dalaba dabai degeligi, bose dia̱ ni̱moko͡u hagi̱ mo͡u yo͟͡uwa ne̱i̱ba, ni̱ nele̱do dege dalabasi, Godiha̱ ni̱moko͡u bolofe̱i̱yode tobolo͡u.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Haba ni̱ midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ ta milo͡u ba, ni̱ bose dia̱ ni̱ egele wouba, ni̱ nele̱do dege dalababe, Godiha̱ge ni̱moko͡u be ta hoho̱ degele mei. Ke̱no͡u si, ni̱ midiho̱ do̱u̱do ke̱no͡u ko͡u milo͡u ba, haba ni̱ bose dia̱ mo͡u yo͟͡uwa egele woubabe, ni̱ nele̱do dege dalabasi, Godiha̱ge ni̱me midiho̱ do̱u̱do degeiba dugulo.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ni̱ dowoye, Kelesu e̱ hagi̱ hiyedo dugu kaha̱ degemo͡u, Godiha̱ ni̱ne hagi̱ dugumabeedema haguisai. Hagi̱, Kelesuha̱ dugu ke̱me yo͟͡u ni̱moko͡u hegi, ni̱ne tawaleba sesemabadomo͡u.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Damale̱do,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 O kedia̱ Kelesuko͡u ta̱ bo͡u basia tobo͡u mo͡u be, e̱ge ta sima tobo͡u li mei. E̱ hagi̱ hiyedo duguye, ke̱no͡u si e̱ge dia̱moko͡u midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ kaha̱ hebe ta nele̱yode tobo͡u li mei. E̱ yo͟͡usie Godiko͡u ne̱i̱, Godiha̱ge obe do̱u̱dono͡u fidi kaha̱ degemo͡u.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Kelesuha̱ di midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ kaha̱ hebe ke̱ mala̱, hebe fufuguoma̱i̱ko͡u dio͡u go͡u mo͡u, e̱ tolo i. Dige di midiho̱ kasaga̱i̱ ke̱ to͡u fogo͡u ba, gehe̱ dege dalaguali, midiho̱ do̱u̱do ke̱ milo͡u gamabadomo͡u e̱ kuhe tolo i. O kedia̱ Kelesu hili̱gedo wala imo͡u, e̱ do hiyedo dugu kaha̱, ni̱me bolo̱ degele i kehe̱.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Afu, ni̱me wai sipsip sa̱ degei, fi̱ toto͡u dege suluguadi, a do̱u̱do ke̱no͡u sesele yadiyo mei. Ke̱no͡u si, ni̱ boholo͡u ma̱ ya, wai sipsip dia daladi Hiye Oko͡u fologa dalaguamo͡u be, e̱ge ni̱ fi̱ olo͡u fe̱i̱ ke̱ dia dala kehe̱.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
